Kanji's POV

I woke up with a jolt. Erza wasn't in bed. I checked the clock and saw that date and time.

"Today's the day." I smiled "She must already have gone off to get ready with the girls."

Figuring Erza was off getting ready for the big day I got my things ready and headed to the guild to meet the guys so we could go over and make sure everything was set up and Kardia Cathedral. When I got to the guild the gang was all ready to head out and the Cathedral was all set up.

"Isn't there anything you could be doing?" Laxus asked me.

"Not really." I said "The wedding isn't for a few more hours. A lot of the stuff is just the bride and her bridesmaids getting ready. We just have to wait."

"Well everything is set up for the reception we should just skip to that." Natsu said "Now I'm bored. Can't I get dressed or something."

"Knowing you Natsu you'll get the suit all wrinkled if we let you get changed now." Sho told him "And it wasn't cheap to get these made by the Blue Pegasus tailor."

"Natsu listen to me." I said giving him a look "Today is very special for Erza…no fighting or goofing around got it?"

He gulped "yes sir."

"Same goes for you two." I pointed at Gajeel and Gray.

"Why us."

"Cause you're just as bad as Natsu." Laxus mumbled.

"I wonder what the girls are doing." Natsu pondered.

Erza's POV

"Are the flowers ready?" I asked.

"Yes Erza."

"What about the dresses?"

"They're already in the back room."

"And the-"

"Erza calm down!" Mira yelled.

"Sorry." I said with my head down "I just want everything to be perfect."

"It will be." Mira said "Now you take a seat so we can start getting you ready."

"You gonna be fine Erzy." Millianna smiled.

"Erza do you want me to get Cancer to do your hair?" Lucy asked.

"Actually, I already got someone else." I told her "Sorry."

"It's no big deal, who did you get?"

"Your stylist has arrived!" Lauren cheered entering the room.

"Her." I pointed out.

"Who's up first?" Lauren said getting ready.

"You're gonna do our hair?" Wendy asked her.

"Well I used to do Flare's hair all the time." she smiled "I'm plenty experienced. I'll do Erza first and then get to the rest of you after kay?"

Lauren's POV

"So what do you want to do with it?" I asked Erza.

"I hadn't really thought about it." She said.

"Well it's your hair silly." I giggled "How about a braid bun."

"That sounds nice." She smiled.

I got to work, grabbing the red hair and twisting it thread of thread, lock after lock until a large braid had formed. I took that and wrapped it up at the top, a little hair spray and some bobby pins and Erza was looking ready for the spotlight.

"Okay now don't play with it just let it sit alright." I told her "I'm gonna go do some of the others and I'll check on you in a few minutes."

I went and did the other girls. I straightened Mira and Cana's hair and curled Lucy's. I put Kagura's hair in a side braid and gave Wendy a cute flower weave for her flower girl duties.

"Oh dear." I said struggling to pull the brush through Millianna's hair "This could be a struggle."

"My hair's not that bad." She meowed.

"No offense but it's like a rat's nest, you have split ends everywhere." I said yanking the brush free and grabbing the straightener "This could be a while."

"Well do something quickly." Kagura told me "We have to finish getting ready."

I was already in the processing of straightening her hair "I just need a few minutes."

Kanji's POV

People were starting to show up and I was starting to get a little nervous. Any minute now the bell would ring and the ceremony could be under way. Most of the guests had arrived dressed all fancy and such.

"It's a ceremony of Love." Sherry said when Lamia Scale and Blue Pegasus entered.

"Is Wendy here?" her cousin asked.

"She's off getting ready with the other girls." I told her.

"Sherria!" Carole waved "Over here!"

"Congratulations." Lyon said shaking my hand.

"She hasn't said I Do yet." I laughed.

"Since this is Erza I feel the need to say this…Good luck." He said taking a seat.

After that some of the guests from other guilds came. Sting, Rogue and Diana arrived along with the Exceeds.

"We're ready to get started." Gray said.

"Alright." I said going up toward the alter.

I looked at the crowd and let out a nervous breath. I looked to the back and saw two cloaked figures. I knew who it was because Erza wanted to invite them.

I straightened up when the bell rang. Music started playing and I could feel the butterflies in my stomach.

Everything is going to be fine…I just feel like I might explode or throw up it's fine!

Kagura was the first bridesmaid to come in. Erza had picked out light blue dresses for all of them and Kagura looked pretty in hers. Sho was her partner for the procession. When they reached the end of the aisles the next duo consisting of Gajeel and Millianna came in. After them was Gray and Cana and then Natsu and Lucy. The music slowed a bit as the best man and maid of honor walked in. Laxus and Mira looked great. Then hit the end and separated to their respective sides. The final person to enter was Wendy. She looked adorable as she sprinkled her little flowers on the floor.

The music picked up and everyone stood up. The door at the back opened and I saw her, the most beautiful creature ever. Erza look…indescribable as she stepped down the aisle accompanied by Gramps. Her hair was up in a bun and her dress looked just as spectacular as it did when I saw it a few weeks ago.

I stepped up and took Erza's hand. Gramps went over to his seat by Lauren, looking kinda sad to see us Erza and I finally growing up. Smiled at Erza and she smiled back. We stepped up in front of the alter and Master Mavis, who insisted on doing the whole ceremony herself started talking which I'm sure was awkward for anyone not in the guild who couldn't see her.

Mavis welcomed that crowd and went through the various rites and what not. I mostly tuned her out because I was staring at Erza.

"And now the important part." Mavis said breaking me out of my haze "The rings."

Laxus handed Mavis the rings and she handed one to me and one to Erza.

"The ring is a symbol of the unbroken circle of love. Love freely given has no beginning and no end, no giver and no receiver for each is the giver and each is the receiver. May these rings always remind you of the vows you have taken." Mavis spoke before turning to me.

"Kanji, do you take Erza to be your wedded wife, to live together in marriage? Do you promise to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and health, and forsaking all others, be faithful only to her, for as long as you both shall live?"

"I do." I smiled at Erza when I slid the ring on her finger.

"Erza, do you take Kanji to be your wedded husband to live together in marriage? Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and health and forsaking all others, be faithful only to him so long as you both shall live?"

Erza looked so happy as she moved the ring onto my finger.

"I do."

Mavis smiled at us "Then by the power invested in me as the First Guild Master of Fairy Tail…I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss the bride."

I pulled Erza close and placed my lips over hers. This kiss had a whole torrent of emotion behind it. Erza's lips felt softer than they had before, she felt lighter than ever before…everything was perfect.

"With this our ceremony is concluded." Mavis told the crowd "And I now present to you-!"

"Mr. and Mrs. Kanji Dreyar!" Mira yelled

The crowd applauded as I took Erza hand and left the Cathedral. I got outside and I hugged her.

"I love you." I smiled at her.

"I love you too." She said kissing me.

Later- At the Awesome Reception

The reception was nice. Everyone was really happy. Food was good and the speeches were nice, I think I saw Mira cry for a second during hers. Laxus' speech was a lot less formal, he mostly touched on how the first day he got back from a job I wouldn't stop talking about "that one-eyed girl who just joined the guild". After that Erza and I danced our first dance and did other traditional wedding junk. I didn't care anymore, the whole reason for the day was over, Erza and I were married now and nothing would make that inferior.

"Hey Erza's gonna throw her bouquet!"

All the girls got ready to catch Erza's bundle of flowers. Erza threw the flowers and all the girls jumped up to catch it. I couldn't really see who caught it at first but when the crowd dissipated, I saw.

"Hey Luce what's that?" Natsu asked the girl.

"It's nothing." She said hiding the flowers behind her back.

Diana's POV

"Why are you hiding behind the table?" Lector asked me.

"Fro wants to know too."

"It's her…" I mumbled.

Why was Meredy here? I watched her from across the room; she was talking to Erza and Kanji. She was wearing a pretty light pink dress that matched her hair. Ever since I first met her I hadn't been able to get her out of my mind.

"Why don't you just go talk to her?" Frosch asked.

"I can't do that!" I yelled.

"And why not?" Lector countered.

"Well because…you know…I'm nervous."

"I think you should go." Frosch said "I believe in you."

That stupid frog face was too cute.

"Alright…"

I got and straightened out my dress before walking across the room. I decided to just make it like I was going over to talk to Kanji and Erza.

"Congrats." I said shaking their hands.

"Oh it's you." Meredy said to me "We met after the Grand Magic Games."

She remembers me! Slow down…deep breath…play it cool.

"Yeah…good to see you too."

"You guys know each other?" Kanji said.

"I wouldn't say we know each other per say." Meredy told them "But we are acquainted."

I joined the three in casual conversation until the story turned to the final day of the games.

"So then Diana goes 'well you don't have to worry about me stealing him away…cause I'm gay." Kanji said finishing his story by quoting me.

"You are?" Meredy looked at me "I didn't know that."

"Well now you do." I shrugged "I'm gonna go get a drink."

I wandered off and mingled with some other people during the night. At one point I stepped out just to get some fresh air.

"Why are you out here all by yourself?"

I turned and saw Meredy was walking up to me.

"Just felt like stepping out." I told her looking up at the moon.

"I hope I didn't make you uncomfortable earlier." Meredy said "I honestly didn't know."

"It's no big." I said "It not like you were rude or anything. I'm kinda used to people being a little surprised by that, I got over it years ago."

Meredy took a seat by me on the steps "So you're a Sand Dragon Slayer huh?"

"Yeah but I'm not very impressive." I sighed.

"You were great in the games, the way you made that tornado."

"But I got beat in one shot and then I got controlled…" I mumbled.

"So what…you were still strong." Meredy told me "I thought it was pretty cool how you fought so hard."

"You really think so?"

She just smiled "Mhmm."

It got quiet for a little bit until I picked up some dirt. I squeezed in in my fist.

"What are you doing?"

When I opened up my hand a small shiny stone was in its place, I handed it to Meredy.

"What's this?"

"A gift…for making me feel better." I said.

"Thank you." She smiled back.

Meredy and I did some other talking and I found out she was 19, a year older than me. She also explained that she had recently lost her mother figure so she was kinda lonely.

"You could always come stay with me." I told her "Sorry that was so forward."

"I appreciate the gesture, but I'm afraid that's not possible." She said giving me a small smile.

"Meredy." A man called "It's time to go."

Is he her boyfriend?

"Well I have to go." Meredy smiled "I'm sure we'll see each other again soon."

"I'd like that." I grinned.

Meredy got up to leave before turning back.

"Is something-!" I started.

Out of nowhere she suddenly kissed me. It was quick, brief and I was so taken back I didn't even speak. Meredy broke the kiss and gave me a wink before running off.

"I'll see you around cutie."

I touched my lips…

"…Wow…"

Kanji's POV

The night was finally winding down to an end. Everyone had pretty much gone home. Erza and I weren't leaving for the resort till the morning so we were heading back home. When we did get home, we locked the door. We did have guests the other night but I had arranged for Millianna and Kagura to dorm with Lucy tonight.

"So Mrs. Dreyar." I said holding her "What do you want to do."

Erza kissed me lovingly "How about we take out years of built up tension?"

"I like that idea." I said carrying her into the bedroom.
