Hi! Look at me actually sticking to a regular update schedule lol. I don't really have anything to say, so enjoy!
It had been a few weeks since Brandon began tutoring me, and let me just say, it has helped A LOT. Like, my grade average has gone up, and I'm scoring much better on class tests.
Nevertheless, it's still a lot of work. SATs are getting super close, like next week close, and everyone was freaking out, since it was already the Friday before. Somehow, my house has become study central for our entire friend group, and chaotic would be an understatement.
Of course, you'd expect everyone to be peacefully studying in the comfort of their own rooms, right? Well, not the case here - apparently, everyone needed something from someone else, a textbook, notes, whatever, so instead of blowing up the group chat every two seconds we figured we may as well all study together. The library practically kicked us out and nowhere else has good enough wifi, so we settled at my house since it was basically empty. My mom and Angelo were out for summer finals, but this game was the last of the year, so they wouldn't be travelling after that and soon we can all have some time together without work or school interfering.
Anyways, back the present. There were currently seven other frenzied teenagers in my living room - yes, seven! It started with Musa and Bloom, and of course that led to Sky and Riven coming along, and then Brandon and Liam, who brought along Sierra. Even though she didn't go to our highschool she was still in the same position as us so, being the nice person I am, insisted she come too. In hindsight, we probably should've split it into two separate study sessions but there's nothing to do now.
To escape all the madness, I went to the kitchen to get everyone some drinks, and when I got back I just barely dodged a flying textbook.
"Okay that could've taken my head clean off" I said, grabbing the textbook, which weighed a tonne.
"Just hydrate before you start throwing furniture" I sighed, putting down the tray of cold drinks and sodas on the coffee table.
"You got anything stronger than lemonade by any chance?" Liam asked. "I could drink an entire liquor store right now"
"Yeah and with your tolerance you'd be in the ER until Christmas" Musa teased.
"I am not a lightweight!" Liam hissed.
"I'd call throwing up after a beer being a lightweight" Sierra laughed.
"Jeez what happened while I was in the kitchen?" I asked, glancing around the room. "Looks like a freaking tornado blew through here. Followed by a hurricane, and then maybe an earthquake"
"Sky couldn't find his history notes and he started to panic, and then Musa and Brandon started playing dodgeball with the textbooks. Oh, and Liam started to sing so everyone started to throw stuff at him" Bloom said, earning a glare from them.
"Sorry Stel, we'll clean up before we leave" Sky shrugged.
"If you leave. I'm sure half of you will pass out from exhaustion in a couple hours. Oh and, whichever one of you threw that textbook at me, I'll get you back" I said, narrowing my eyes at Musa and Brandon who were both avoiding my gaze.
"Is that an invitation? Because that would save us a lot of time, staying the whole weekend, we could get some cramming in during the night and wouldn't waste time going back to our own houses" Riven said. "Thanks Stella, awful nice of you"
"Y-you're welcome.. I guess?" I faltered.
Did I just get tricked into entertaining a herd of crazy teenagers for an entire weekend?
"I don't want to trouble you Stel, I can go home" Sierra smiled.
Well at least someone here has common courtesy.
"No way! You live like an hour away, I don't want you driving all that way this late. In fact you're staying, it's not a question" I smiled. "The rest of you guys, I mean if you really want, it's your choice"
"You're the best, Stel!" Liam said, nudging me.
"Liam, you literally live next door..? I'm saving you a fifteen second trip" I reminded.
"True.. but I must thank the host like everyone other guest" he said, collapsing onto the couch.
"Don't get too comfy, you'll be cooking dinner and breakfast for all these guests" I said.
"Okay we've been studying for like 4 hours straight, can we take a break?" Musa asked.
"I second that, and can we order in? I don't feel like having Liam's paella for the fifth time this week" Brandon said.
"Fine, but only if we get pizza" I said, grabbing my phone.
"Ugh hell yes, I'm starved" Riven groaned.
"You guys having a party or something?"
It was almost 9pm, and the food had just arrived. The delivery guy was standing on the doorstep with 4 large pizza boxes, and like a dozen sides and drinks, while I handed him the money.
"If you call a late night cram session a party, then yeah" I shrugged. "Shit, Cody. I'm four dollars short, you got change for a twenty by any chance?"
"I's fine, don't worry about it" he said, shaking his head.
"No, don't be ridiculous just wait here, I'll be right back!" I said.
"I insist, Stella, it's just four bucks. A customer as regular as you should be entitled to a pass once in a while" he chuckled.
"Really? You don't have to!" I said.
"My treat" he ensured, heading back to his car.
"You're a lifesaver, Cody! I love you!" I yelled, before closing the door.
"So, you flirt with all the employees like that?" Brandon scoffed.
"I was not flirting, he's my friend, he brings me pizza! I mean he's basically the most loyal man in my life" I joked.
"He's like seven years older than you. And also you have extremely low standards, I feel bad for your future husband"
"Shut it, and help me with these boxes" I said, struggling to hold everything.
"What took you so long? The doorbell rang like three hours ago" Sky said, opening one of the boxes as he devoured a piece.
"Stel was probably swooning for the pizza delivery guy again. And hey! Careful with the shirt, tomato stains are the hardest to get out!" Liam warned.
Whilst we were waiting for the pizza we decided it was best to get comfy since everyone would be staying, so Liam went next door and got some clothes for the guys, whilst I offered some of mine to the girls.
"This is why I asked you to get me something of Brandon's" Sky sighed, rolling his eyes.
"What the new guy, you're already on a first name basis with him?" Musa asked.
"Of course, why else would he have basically given me free pizza?" I said, flipping my hair.
"Ugh please, you think he'd do that for any 'loyal customer'?" Bloom laughed.
"Whatever, can someone please get some napkins from the kitchen?" I asked.
"On it" Liam nodded, getting up.
"So, does anyone here actually understand the quantum mechanical model of atoms? I can't remember any of the formulas" Sierra groaned.
"I get your struggle, girl, taking AP physics this year was a dumb decision" Musa sighed, picking up a slice. "At least for me though, you're like a reincarnation of Einstein. I'm sure you'll be good"
"I'm so not, but I'm definitely borrowing you tomorrow, we can go through the content once more and at least try to understand" Sierra said.
"Well well, what do we have here" Liam smirked, walking into the room, with a sparkly pink book in his hand.
"Oh my god, where did you find that? I haven't seen that since I was 9!" I asked, standing up to take a closer look. "I thought I'd left it in Miami, how did it end up here? My mom probably accidentally packed it"
"It was under the sink, your mom was using it as a divider for cleaning supplies" he said. "It has some very interesting stuff"
"Wait, Stel is that your diary? That's so cute!" Bloom said.
"Yeah from when I was in third grade, give it back!" I ordered, trying to snatch it from Liam.
"Dear diary, today I met the love of my life-" he started to read.
Oh god no, this is about to be majorly embarrassing.
"Stop! Liam, give it back!" I squeaked, trying to grab it, while he kept moving around. "There's really no need!"
"Let him, I wanna hear this!" Musa said.
"Me too" Riven said.
"Don't encourage him!" I exclaimed.
"How bad can it be?" Sky asked.
"-his name is Carter Sinclair. He's the cutest boy in all of America, and I'm gonna marry him" Liam continued. I sat back down, clutching a pillow as my face started to grow red.
"Yesterday, he gave me a pencil, and that's basically a proposal, right? I know we're still in elementary school, so we'll probably have to wait until we are 16. That's when all the princesses in the books get married" he read, in a really exaggerated kid voice. "Wow Stel, your grammar is terrible"
"She was 9, dude. Let her be, now keep reading!" Musa said.
"He has the dreamiest brown eyes, and the softest brown hair" he swooned, pretending to faint in Sierra's lap.
"Mystery guy sounds a lot like Brandon" Riven scoffed, as they all looked at him.
Okay, it sounds really bad, I know. I guess he just happened to share some physical attributes with Brandon, but that's just a coincidence!
"No! Hell no, he- that was probably a mistake, thinking back his hair was probably more on the blond side" I lied.
As if, he was definitely a brunette, and the cutest one in all of the third grade. Or, well, I thought he was.
"I'm-.. I'm guessing this is your attempt at the word 'absolutely'?.. Yep, I'm absolutely head over heels, I can't wait to see him tomorrow. Maybe I can ask him for some help with my math homework, then I'll have an excuse to talk to him. I hate math, it's yucky, but I'd do it for him"
All eyes were now on me.. this does not look good.
I really do not recall writing that part!
"Hey, that's so weird, Brandon helps you with math too!" Bloom grinned.
"Hm, sounds like we do have something in common. You sure you wrote that in third grade or last week?" Brandon teased.
"Liam, I think that's enough" I laughed nervously.
"Wait, I wanna narrate the next part!" Musa said, grabbing the diary as she skipped to the following page. "I need to see how this tragic, obviously one sided, unrequited tale ends!"
"Dear diary, today I am so mad! Boys are rude and mean and gross, can you believe Carter cheated on me? He gave Julia an eraser - Julia, the girl that matches her socks to the days of the week, that's so tacky! Anyway, I was heartbroken, and I grabbed his carrot sticks and threw them on the floor. Serves him right! And then on the playground, I kicked him, and he started crying. What a baby, we're almost 10, we are supposed to be grown up, this isn't kindergarten!" she read.
"You're so mean Stel!" Liam gasped dramatically.
"I think you did the right thing, fight the patriarchy, am I right?" Sierra laughed, high-fiving me.
"Stupid Carter got me in trouble, Miss Fields gave me timeout during recess and told my parents. Oh, don't tell my mom I said 'stupid', I'll be grounded forever!" Musa continued.
"Damn you were a violent kid.. nothing much has changed" Riven said.
"Okay since we have established the fact that little Stella was a drama queen, can we please stop reading?" I begged.
"Fine, we'll save it for another time" Musa said, handing it to me.
I need to hide this in a really good spot...
"Aw don't be embarrassed Stellie, I think you were adorable" Bloom said.
"Well I wish my mom had shared that opinion, she made me apologise to him! My poor, poor ego" I huffed.
"So, did he forgive you and agree to marry you?" Sky asked.
"Surprisingly, we actually became good friends in middle school, but we lost contact after that" I said.
"Guys! We should play a game or something to like get our minds off the stress and have some fun" Sierra said.
"That's a good idea, how about spin the bottle?" Musa suggested, earning glares from everyone. "Fine, geez...truth or dare then?"
"No way, not after last time" Brandon said.
If you're wondering what happened last time, well, don't. It went way too far and somehow the night ended with Riven in handcuffs - and no, not the kinky kind, the real kind.
"Do you have anything like old board games, maybe? Monopoly, scrabble?" Bloom asked. I pointed at the cabinet where all that stuff was, gesturing her to look in it.
After a couple minutes of searching, she came back, with a mischievous grin on her face.
"This would be interesting" she smirked.
"Babe, that's meant for children, we're not all gonna fit on that" Sky said.
"I know! That's what will make it interesting. We need 4 people, who's playing?" She asked.
"Count me out" Riven said.
"Me too, I don't think I can stretch like that" Liam said.
"I wanna watch, seems more fun to watch" Musa nodded.
"You guys are wimps, I'll play" Sky said.
"Me too!" Sierra added.
"Oh I am so in, my balance and core stability are excellent" I said, crossing my arms.
I heard a chuckle, and looked around to see Brandon trying not to laugh.
"Did I say something funny?" I asked.
"Nothing, it's just.. I find that hard to believe" he shrugged. "I mean come on - admit it, you're the clumsiest out of all of us. How many times have you tripped over nothing but air?"
"It's not the same thing! I'm unbelievably good at this, there's no doubt in my mind that I'll win" I said confidently. "If you don't believe me, you can play and find out"
"Fine, I will" he said. "I bet you'll be out in the first 10 minutes"
"Okay, it's settled. I'll be the umpire" Bloom said.
"You're not playing?" Musa asked.
"Someone has to spin the.. spinning thingy. And as you said, it'll be fun to watch" she chuckled.
It had been over half an hour, and both Sierra and Sky had slipped and lost, leaving just me and Brandon. I was determined to prove my point and win, and he was adamant to let me win, of course, so it had just been the two of us being stubborn, and everyone else getting pretty tired of it.
"Stella, you made your point, you're the best. Just give up already, please!" Liam whined.
"Nope, not until one of us.. well, Brandon, loses. Bloom, whose turn is it?" I asked.
"Yours. Right hand yellow.." she said. I swiftly moved my arm, doing as she said and putting it on the spot without so much as a wobble.
"And Miss Solaria scores again! How long will she last, we'll just have to wait and see" Musa announced, using her hands as a megaphone as she pretended to be a commentator. She was definitely enjoying this more than the others.
"Oh my god, guys please. This is gonna go on all freaking night at this rate, and we need to get back to work soon" Riven said.
"I'm just waiting for Stella to lose" Brandon said, moving across per Bloom's instructions.
We were in a bit of an awkward position, as you could probably guess. I was practically hovering over Brandon - only because he kept picking the easy spots, so I had to stretch to the further ones - but that was no problem for me, being the good sportswoman I am.
"We should make it more entertaining, you know, raise the stakes. Loser has to.. lose an item of clothing?" Musa smirked.
"Fine with me" I scoffed. "it's not like I'm gonna have to be the one stripping"
"Don't be so sure of that.." Brandon said, moving his leg and almost swaying me off balance.
"Okay I'm betting the next move is gonna drop one of you guys, there's no way either of you can make a move without falling" Bloom said, as she span the wheel and proceeded to read out the move. "Stel, left hand blue"
I need to be strategic, I'm too far away from all the blue spots and the only one I can reach is near Brandon's arm.. and it's too far for me to go over, so I guess I'll just have to go under.
I had to bend down slightly, in order to be able to slither my hand through the gap, but as soon as I lifted myself back up, my arm smashed into his causing us both to lose balance, toppling on the floor. He fell on his back, but I managed to prop my self up and keep my hands and feet on the right spots, so technically, I'm still standing right?
"And Shields is down! He takes a nasty loss, biting the dust, as Solaria continues to prove herself unbeatable!" Musa cheered.
"I didn't lose, I was pushed, she pushed me! Did no one see that?" he complained, pinned under me as my arms were propped on either side of him.
"I won fair and square"
"You sabotaged me!"
"In your dreams"
"You're a sore loser"
"This is impossible, how are you even holding this position, you can't even do a push up!" he remarked. "I demand a rematch-"
"No! Please, no more, just take the L and go dude" Sky groaned.
"I win" I winked, before, getting up.
"Off comes the shirt" Musa demanded, narrowing her eyes at Brandon before he peeled off his shirt and threw it aside.
"I bet you're real excited now, huh?" he smirked. "Enjoying the view?"
"You wish" I said, rolling my eyes.
"Since you guys are done with your little game can we please go back to studying?" Liam begged.
"Okay okay. We have to split up though because everyone in the same place doing different things is.. well, dangerous for one." I said. "Oh, and we need sleeping arrangements because it's late and most of us will probably fall asleep sooner or later. And I don't want any funny business during the night... so the girls can sleep in my room, Brandon and Liam you guys take the guest room. Riv and Sky, you stay down here - the big couch is a pull out bed. Everyone fine with that?"
Everyone nodded, and soon scattered across the house to do their own studying. It was late into the night and at this point, everyone was getting tired and the noise was dying down. Liam and the girls were all upstairs, whilst the rest of us were dispersed around the living room.
"Does anyone want coffee? I'm gonna make some" Liam said, heading to the kitchen.
"Me please!" I asked.
"Me too" Brandon said.
"Give me a whole bucket, or I'll be knocked out like Sky over here" Riven said. "Should I go ask the girls?"
"No need, I checked and they're all asleep" Liam said.
"All 3 of them? Wow, so it's just you, me, Brandon and Riven left standing" I said.
"You know what, on second thought, I'm gonna crash too. It's like 2am, and my eyes are burning" Riven yawned. "Night guys"
"Night, we'll try to keep it down" I whispered.
"And then there were 3" Liam said, bringing a stack of mugs and the coffee pot.
"Don't overwork yourself nerd, get some sleep" I said.
"What makes you think I would stay up all night?" he asked.
"Probably the fact that you're taking the whole jug with you" Brandon said, pointing to it.
"Touché. See ya later" he said, disappearing up the stairs.
"So, more chemistry?" I asked, sipping my mug.
"I've had enough of you kicking my ass for one night. History" he proposed. "And no cheat sheets"
"Fine" I said, putting the textbook in my lap aside reluctantly.
You see, Brandon and I had decided to pair up after a while and he was still shirtless because he decided wearing clothes was below him or some shit, and I had to sit there next to him, face to face, and not look. Which was considerably easy since I was just reading this whole time, but now, I had to actually look at him.
I didn't realise how difficult it would be not to... well, stray. It didn't even bother me before but now I couldn't hide my face in a book and his stupid abs were just there, existing. Like, we get it, you work out, no need to rub it in our faces!
"What stance did the US take against the USSR during the Cold War?"
Okay, stop it Stel, act normal.
"Containment - they sent military and economic aid to their allies to prevent the influence and spread of communism" I answered.
"What was the North Atlantic treaty organisation?"
"It was, uh.." my thoughts started to drift again, and I searched my head for the answers but all I could think was damn.
I know I said I'm not gonna look anymore, but holy shit.
"I-It was an, um, a-alliance.. between.." I stammered, barely able to focus as my eyes started wandering.
The way the light from the softly lit lampshade bounced off his torso in the dark, the way his chest was so chiseled and perfect... and god, those washboard abs. If I hadn't seen his face, I would've assumed he was a freaking Calvin Klein model.
Oh my god, did I just say- or think that? Shut up brain!
"b-between.. countries that, uh.."
Actually, scratch that.. his face is totally model worthy too.
Maybe it's because it's late or something and my brain is starting to short circuit but my eyes are literally glued to him, I'm probably gawking right now but I don't care. I mean every time he moves he's flexing something and its like a car crash, you can't look away!
"Eyes up here, Sunshine"
I snapped out of my trance, realising that I had forgotten the fact that he can obviously see me gazing at him like a total creep.
"What?" I squeaked.
"You got a little bit of drool right there" he teased, with a cheeky smile on his face.
"I wasn't-"
"Yeah you were. I don't want you blaming your failure on my irresistible body, so I'll do you a favour and cover up" he said, grabbing his shirt that was hanging off the side of the couch and putting it back on.
"NATO is an alliance created by the US and Canada and other western countries to strengthen defence against the Soviet Union" I recalled, crossing my arms. "Ha, see! I'm fine, I know it. I was just.. tired!"
"There we go, it worked" he smirked, gesturing at his shirt. "You're welcome"
"You know what, maybe I should ask the questions" I grumbled, hastily snatching the sheet from him. "Wipe that grin off your face, I'm serious"
"Aw Stel don't be mad, I don't want you to kick me like you did poor Carter" he pouted.
"Poor Carter deserved it and you do to, now stop messing around, or I'm hiding my chemistry notes and you'll have to find someone else with as much patience as me to help you"
"Hey, I may not be as good as you but I'm not terrible" he argued.
"I beg to differ, if you can name a single group one metal I'll accept defeat"
"...Nitrogen?" he questioned.
"Nitrogen- Brandon, that's not even a metal! It's a gas, its literally in the air! Remind me again how you managed to pass before me?" I asked.
"I will give you a ride to school every day next week if you teach me everything you know" he said.
"Hm.. deal" I said. "Now pay attention"
After an hour or so, both of us were getting tired and decided to go to sleep. Although, I couldn't sleep at all, what with 3 people sleeping in my bed. I didn't wanna disturb them so I settled on the little couch in my room, but truthfully it was uncomfortable and much too small to sleep on.
I tossed and turned, growing frustrated as I let out an irritated sigh. Maybe it was all the coffee I chugged down, but I just couldn't get myself to sleep. Clutching my blanket, I threw it over my shoulders and quietly tip toed down the stairs, trying my hardest not to make any noise. I practically stumbled into the kitchen, and jumped back as I caught sight of a dark figure. I shrieked, turning on the light, only to see a certain someone getting a glass of water.
"Jesus, Brandon. You scared me half to death!" I whispered, pushing past him to open the fridge.
"What are you doing up?" he asked.
"I couldn't sleep.. in retrospect, putting all the girls in my room was a dumb idea, since there wasn't really any space for me. I should've thought that through.. what about you?"
"Liam snores" he said.
"Oh, don't I know it" I muttered, thinking back to all those times I was jolted awake by an earthquake, only for it to be Liam.
"So, what, were you planning on sleeping on the kitchen floor?" he asked.
"As nice as that sounds, I was just coming down for a snack, and then I was gonna go to my mom's room. You can just stay down here, by the way." I offered. "The other couch isn't a pullout bed but it's huge and comfortable, and you won't be able to hear a snore coming from a mile away"
"Thanks" he said, turning off the light.
"Wait, Brandon!" I whispered, making him turn around. "Do you mind if we just sit on the couch for a while, like until we get tired. I mean if you're tired already then I'll leave you alone, but I just, I don't feel like going back upstairs just yet"
"Yeah.. sure, come on. You have to be quiet though, Sky and Riven are like 2 metres away" He reminded, as I followed him back into the living room.
"Why are you grinning like that?" he asked, as I settled next to him.
"You're gonna read me a bedtime story" I sang.
"No I'm not" I scoffed.
"Yes you are, come on! Pleaseee" I begged.
"Stella, I'm not reading you a bed time story" He whispered.
"I practically taught you 3 years of knowledge in one night, I think I deserve a bed time story. Please?" I pouted.
"Fine, what book?" he sighed.
I dug through the pile of books on the coffee table, grabbing the one from the bottom, and handing it to him.
"The little mermaid? Perfect for you, it's a children's classic.." he joked.
"Start from the part when she saves Eric, that's where I left off last time" I smiled, snuggling into the couch.
I probably shouldn't get too comfy since I need to go back up after..
"Is he dead' Ariel asked, 'It's hard to say' replied scuttle.." he read in a low whisper.
"It's a fairytale, not an obituary! Lighten up, stop being so monotone" I demanded.
"Eric had never seen Ariel, just heard her beautiful voice. But Ariel had fallen in love with him- what, already? This is so unrealistic, how could she be in love with him, the guy's not even conscious!" he complained.
"It's a story about mermaids, you really wanna question the authenticity? Just read!" I whispered.
"Triton was furious, 'Contact between the human world and merworld is strictly forbidden-"
"Say it more like the characters! More expression" I said.
"Stop interrupting!" He whispered.
"I will if you read it properly" I countered.
"This is ridiculous" he said.
I put on my best puppy dog face, staring at him pleadingly until he gave in.
"Fine" he sighed, "but you better stop critiquing me after this"
"Contact between the human world and merworld his strictly forbidden!" he whispered in the most deep, exaggerated voice, making me explode into a fit of laughter.
"Quiet down!" he hushed, trying his best not to laugh too.
"Sorry, continue" I whispered.
"But daddy, I love him!" he remarked in an even more ridiculous voice, mocking a stereotypical teenager. "Hey, I don't appreciate my performance being ridiculed! This is really serious okay?"
"I'm sorry" I giggled, calming down before letting him continue. I stretched my blanket so it was covering the both of us, and eventually I got too tired to make fun of him, as he started reading in a much more gentle voice. I closed my eyes, trying to get more comfy as I continued to listen.
"Since the storm, prince Eric has searched everyday for the girl who had rescued him, 'That voice, I can't get it out of my head'.."
"You make a pretty good prince" I murmured, unaware of what I was saying as sleep consumed my body. "Night Brandon"
"Goodnight princess"
I woke up to dozens of eyes staring at me, making me jolt back slightly in surprise.
Oh yeah, I forgot, everyone stayed the night. But can you blame me, if the first thing you see when you open your eyes is a bunch of people staring right back at you, how could you not momentarily freak out?
"Ow"
I looked over my shoulder to see Brandon next to me, realising I probably shook him awake too. How did we end up on the couch?
Last thing I remember was him doing a terrible impression of Sebastian - we must've fallen asleep, and I probably used his shoulder as a pillow which is why everyone is shooting us curious looks.
"So we're not allowed any 'funny business', but you two are?" Riven asked.
"Ew relax, we were just innocently sitting on the couch, we must've dozed off" I yawned, getting up.
"You know, this is the THIRD time I've caught you guys sleeping together. It doesn't seem very accidental to me" Liam remarked, making everyone suddenly look at him and then back at us.
"I'm gonna kill you!" I threatened.
"3 times?" Musa said, "Why was I not aware of this, Mustard?"
"I swear, they were canoodling and as soon as I catch them they pretend like nothing happened!" he said.
"Oh my god, Liam" I gasped, lightly slapping his shoulder. "That's gross, we were- technically we were studying"
"Tell them!" I whispered, nudging Brandon.
"If you call Stella forcing me to read her a children's book studying then yeah" he said.
"Aw, how cute" Bloom giggled.
"It was educational!" I argued, walking into the kitchen to get breakfast ready, as the others followed.
"It was for your amusement" he countered.
"You know, you guys should hear his narration" I said, attempting to change the subject. "You'd think he was a theatre kid. C'mon, show them your Ariel"
"No way, never again" he said, shaking his head.
"Maybe it's just reserved for you" Musa whispered, elbowing me.
"Shut up and help me get the pancake mix out" I said, rolling my eyes.
"This is for you" I said to Liam, holding a saucepan up.
"Are you gonna hit me with it?" He asked.
"No, you're gonna make breakfast" I said, handing it to him "For all of us"
"But- no ones even gonna help me?" he asked.
"You agreed last night! Plus, as if you would let anyone near your beloved pancakes" I reminded.
"Okay, fine!" he said, before chasing us all out of the kitchen, so we didn't 'disturb the process' or whatever.
"So what's the plan for today?" Sky asked.
"We study until we are physically drained, sleep, eat, repeat until Monday" I smiled. "This is gonna be a long weekend"
Ik this chapter was more of a filler but that's because after this A LOT of stuff happens so I wanted to get it out of the way. Also, a heads up, a couple new characters are gonna introduced soon. They won't have too much of a role but will have a significant impact on Stella and Brandon's relationship, so stay tuned for that. I hope you all are staying safe and healthy, ily all! ❤︎
