This one-shot will be told through the eyes of Alzack. However, I will mark it when I decide to switch it to a third person point of view. Along with that being said, this is a trigger warning. There is blood, violence, and cussing. Not made for young viewers.

I looked at the wall of my shower. The ceramic tiles were so tempting. If only I could hit it without getting scolded for another thing. Oh yeah, the scolding. Ever since Bisca and I had gotten married, it was like I couldn't do anything without her getting upset. Then, when Asuka came, everything got twenty times worse. Bisca would either be extremely pissed at me, or she would want nothing but sex. I was getting extremely sick of it all.

Against my better judgement, I punched the wall as hard as I possibly could. There was a nice imprint of where I hit the ceramic tiling. At this point, I didn't even care that there was blood dripping down my fist. Anger was all that consumed me. Was there even a point in being married to someone who never showed love anymore? All I got was lust, and anger from her. Would it kill the Gods to just treat me nicely for once. Just once in my entire life. Apparently so because my life just keeps getting worse and worse. Fuck all of this mess. I am so done. I groaned as I heard my 'lovely' wife knock on the bathroom door.

"ALZACK WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT HITTING THINGS. WE CANNOT PERMIT VIOLENCE IN THIS HOME. OUR LITTLE GIRL IS GOING TO OBTAIN YOUR ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE HABITS. THEN I'LL BE THE ONE LEFT TO PICK UP YOUR MESS. GET YOURSELF TOGETHER."

Her words raised anger within me. I try so hard to be this perfect little husband. All of her dreams are always supported by me and I never tell her she can't do something. Somehow, I end up as the one who is getting the disrespect and never ending pain? How the hell did that make any sense at all? At this point, I am settling for a divorce. I love her to death, and I would do anything for her, but I can't afford anymore of this verbal abuse. It's beginning to break who I am.

"Maybe we shouldn't be together then. All you do is shout at me and tell me I am not good enough to be a father. Bisca I earned that title and you're the only one who seems to think otherwise. You and I were supposed to be the perfect match. However, I can't help but to believe that it isn't a true statement anymore. Over the last year, I have taken this verbal abuse from you. I hoped and prayed that you were only doing it because of the pregnancy. That hope was misplaced. After Asuka was born, you only seemed to get worse. You called me an asshole, a second choice, a horrible father, a mistake, a bad gun magic user. Yet the worst thing you ever called me was a waste of your time. I have loved you since day one, and all I get in return, is a yell in the face every single time I do something. Even eating food seems to irritate you. So I am done with your bullshit Bisca."

Throughout Alzack's speech, he had gotten out of the shower and got dressed. All of his words were true. Bisca had mistreated him for the last time. Alzack wasn't surprised when Bisca punched him in the face as the bathroom door was unlocked and opened. What surprised him was, the fact that Bisca had raised her gun and shot Alzack through his side. Everything got a little blurry as he watched Bisca rush away in tears. The dark finally consumed the heartbroken man as he passed out from the pain and blood loss.

Lucy was walking along the forest path when she noticed that the door to Alzack and Bisca's house was open. She cautiously walked to the front door and peered in. No one seemed to be home and everything was still in its place. Lucy was about to leave when she noticed a small drop of blood on the doorway. Fear raced through her body and she quickly went into the house. There was a bad feeling in Lucy's gut and she didn't even think twice about searching every room.

The world stopped as Lucy came upon the master bathroom floor. There, laying in his own blood puddle, was Alzack. Panicking, Lucy did the only rational thing she could think of, call Bisca. The gun mage picked up at the second ring on the lacrima phone.

"H-Hello? "

"Bisca, this is so bad. Someone broke into your house and there's blood and- and Alzack is close to bleeding to death."

Lucy didn't even hear the slight laugh in her friend's voice.

"First off, no one broke into the house Lucy. Secondly, my 'husband' is lying in a pool of his own blood because I shot him. He yelled at me and had gotten on my last nerve. So, I shot him. No one will ever have to worry about him again, and I can raise Asuka the right way. There is no father to get in the way and there will be plenty of time for me to find a new town for us two.-"

The blonde celestial mage had dropped her lacrima. She had more of an understanding of what happened now, but she needed to help Alzack before he died. Ever so gently, Lucy picked Alzack up and carried him to the queen sized bed. Standing up, Lucy recited the incantation to summoning Virgo.

"Gate of the Maiden, I open thee! Virgo."

Virgo popped up and looked at the situation.

"Princess, do you wish for my punishment next?"

Lucy didn't laugh at the normal phrase from her spirit. The situation was too serious.

"Virgo, I need help with taking care of Alzack. Bisca shot him in her rage and now it's my time to save him."

The celestial spirit nodded and teleported back to the spirit world for needed supplies. This was going to be a long day and night.
