A New Leader Rises
General POV
The Courts of Darkness was full of fear. Fear of the inevitable collapse of the lair. After the defeat of the Sinister Three and their army a week ago, the Courts were leaderless and defenseless. It was chaos.
Narissa Black stepped onto the stage to address the panicked crowd. Being the daughter of Pitch Black, everyone assumed she would lead the Courts. She looked out to the crowd with her yellow eyes.
"Listen to me." She said, causing the room to fall quiet. "We can stay here. The kingdoms are miles away. And with the Six missings, we have an opportunity to strike them now while they try to find the Six."
"Who put you in charge?!"
The crowd parted to show the Former Prince Hans. After his humiliation in Arendelle, he was cursed to a life of servitude. But he was able to escape to the courts.
"My birthright did. I am the daughter of Pitch Black."
Hans laughed as he walked to the stage. "You are a commoner, a silly girl trying to make your daddy proud. I was born of royalty. I was born to rule. Even if it's a place like this. I say I should lead the Courts."
Narissa growled at him. "How dare you! You speak ill of the former master and now its new one."
"Why don't we put it to a vote?" Hans said. He climbed up the stairs to the stage and looked to the crowd.
"We will do no such thing!" Narissa said as she summoned her magic to her hands.
Hans drew his sword. "I'm not afraid of a witch!"
Just then the doors to the Master's chambers opened. Out walked a man with a hood over his head. Behind him were two Deathgripper dragons. Some of the former dragon trappers started whispering to themselves as he walked towards the stage.
"How dare you enter the Master's Chamber!" Narissa shouted at the newcomer.
The man chuckled. His voice was deep and gravelly. "You sorcerers are all the same. Thinking that you have all the power."
He snapped his fingers. The Dragons jumped on the stage and grabbed Hans and Narissa.
The stranger walked on stage and removed his hood, showing the face of Grimmel the Grisly.
"You two are like children. You are both unfit to rule the Courts."
"And what makes you fit to rule?!" Narissa yelled as she struggled against the clasp of the Deathgripper.
"Me? Oh no, no, no. She is."
The door to the Master's Chamber opened again. There was a woman in a black dress. Her hair was golden blonde. Her blue eyes were red with pain. Her hands were black and claw-like. She walked up onto the stage and stood next to Grimmel.
"Now is the time to unite. As one." The woman said to the crowd.
"Who are you?" Hans asked
She turned to the crowd and raised her hands. "I am Zika, wife of Cyprus."
Grimmel snapped his fingers. The Deathgrippers released Narissa and Hans.
Narissa stood up and moved her black hair out of her face. "Cyprus's wife? So why should you rule?"
Zika motioned into the corner. An old man hobbled over with a book. The Book of the Three. Every declaration they made was contained in this book. He handed the book to Grimmel.
Grimmel opened the book and started to read.
"As the Masters Three, if we shall fall, the commander of the Sinister Three's armies shall rule the courts. If he is to fall, his descendant shall rule in his place."
"Ha!" Hans said to Zika. "You are only his wife, not his descendant!"
Zika smiled and rubbed her belly. "I'm carrying his descendent."
The whole room gasped. Pregnancy was rare in the Courts. Pitch usually killed the babies before they were born, so that no one would leave to start a new life.
Narissa's eyes flared with anger. "Well, with the descendent dead, I will rule!" She lunged at Zika.
Zika shot her hand out and red light shot out, hitting Narissa. She tried to fight it, but it was no use. Zika had Drago's red power.
"How is this possible?" Narissa asked as she was forced to bow to Zika.
"We found Gothel's potion. My hands were taken from me in an accident. So, I used the potion to give me this power."
She snapped and Narissa dropped to the ground.
"Listen to me. The kingdoms have always shown too much restraint when it comes to ruling. When I am Queen, the mighty will be free to take whatever they want. Because a villains' pocket is never full."
"The Big Six's far too powerful to challenge," Narissa said as she got up.
The Big Six is yesterday's message
A clapped-out, distracted regime
Whose failings undoubtedly presage
The need for a different dream
Yes, the kingdom times are a-changing'
Which means that villains must too
My vision is clear and wide-ranging
And even encompasses you
So, prepare for the coup of the century

The others started chanting with each other, joining Zika's cause.

The people cheered.
"Now, start searching for recruits. Anyone who hated the kingdoms. And prepare for the high life."
Everyone dispersed. Zika turned to Grimmel.
"Thank you, brother, for your help."
She looked at Hans and Narissa.
"I need others to help me lead. I can't rule four kingdoms by myself. You work with me; you can rule a kingdom."
Hans smiled. Narissa nodded.
"Good. Now let's get to work.
