Lauren's POV

"We're here." I said pushing the kickstand down.

"I'm home!" Flare ran off.

"Wait for me!"

Flare ran off to see her Giant family.

"Hey Flare's back!"

"Flare!"

"Seems like she brought friend." One said leaning down "You were here before, during the cold times."

"You mean when this place was an ice wonderland?" I said "Yes I was here."

"Why did you come back here?"

"The guilds taking some time off, so I figured I'd come here and do some training, I promise not to get in the way."

"Well way friend of Flare's is a friend of ours, feel free to walk around and do as you like, we'll be careful not to step on you."

"How kind…" I mumbled.

I looked off and saw that big flame.

Hmmm….

A few Days Later.

"Haaaaa~" I sighed.

"Are you going to sit here every day?" Flare asked.

I was at the altar of the Eternal Flame, sitting in quiet meditation.

"I'm focusing my magic, it's easy around the flame." I said "It resonates with my sun magic…you know, this being Sun Village and all."

"I see." Flare sighed sitting next to me "This flame has been around as long as the village, but you know that whole story already."

"Sure do." I sighed "That was a ton of work, we got kinda lucky too."

"I suppose we did, Wendy's magic really helped."

"Atlas Flame…" I said standing up "He knew about E.N.D and Tartarus, just how did he know all that?"

"We can't ask him since he's long gone." Flare said looking at the flame.

"And then the Dragons showed up at Tartarus, just what is the connection between them and Zeref's Demons?"

"You're worrying too much." Flare said.

"Maybe you're not worrying enough. I still worry that we're not done with the tough part yet, Tartarus was just the start." I said standing up "I'm going for a run."

"Oh okay." Flare said.

"Care to join me?" I asked.

"No thanks I don't do the whole running thing very well." Flare said looking at her breasts "At least not without a really strong outfit."

"Haha!" I laughed "Alright I'll be back in a bit."

A Few weeks later.

I had been practicing my arts the last few weeks, working to make my kicks faster and stronger. I need to be able to break guards easier, Tempester was able to block too easily. Flare had been doing her own training, working to swish her hair more fluidly and keep it silky.

Right now, I was at the house Flare and I lived in, working on a tune up for the Magic-cycle.

"Come on turn!" I yelled.

"Are you struggling?" Flare laughed.

"What's so funny?" I said wiping my hands off.

"You normally act so ladylike and proper, wearing dresses and jewelry, but here you are getting dirty and using your hands."

"Well I can't let the bike rust; we might need it sometime." I smiled.

"How did you even get into this sort of thing?" Flare asked.

"It was gift from my dirt bag of a dad." I mumbled "The only good thing he ever did for me. I've been working on it since I got it, making it better, faster, and smoother."

"What are you doing now?" Flare asked.

"Well it started as a tune up but now I'm seeing if I can lower the magic intake, the drive to take Wendy, Carla and Carole to Lamia Scale drained me a lot of magic, and from there to here was rough too. I need to lower the intake so hopefully we can get farther on less magic power."

"Well you know where to find me if you need something." Flare said.

Sometime Later.

"Flash Kick!"

I was in the little dojo the Giants let me set up, practicing my attack.

"Flurry!" "Blazing Dropkick!" "Quasar Roundhouse!" "Star Gatling Kick!"

"HRAAA!"

I spun on one foot and kicked the head off the training dummy.

"Guess I over did it."

I sat down and got a drink.

Even taking the head off ins't enough, I need to blast the dummy though the wall.

My kicks need more power. I can't afford to struggle or people will get hurt…Flare is a strong wizard but she needs me to watch her back.

My kicks…need to be like supernovas.
