Carole's POV
"Hmm…Hmm…Hmhm." I hummed brushing my hair.
"About before…" Sherria spoke up.
"I'm not going anywhere." Wendy said.
"I'm in no rush to split." I sighed.
"Sherry's going to be getting married soon." Wendy said "So if we leave you'll be all alone."
"But I'm not alone."
"Huh?"
"I have Lamia Scale, they're my friends too." Sherria smiled "A friend shouldn't make a friend stay out of pity."
"Well this is too deep for me." I said "I'm going to bed."
*BOOM!*
"Never mind I guess I'm not." I sighed.
"What was that?"
"It's coming from the guild."
I changed out of my pajamas "Let's go see."
We headed to the center of town, there were monsters all over.
"They're attacking the town." I yelled "Not cool man!"
"Lyon!"
Nearer to the center of town Lyon was protecting people with Natsu and Lucy.
"Orochi is really doing it this time." Sherria said "To attack a town because they don't like us."
"It's because Jura isn't here." Wendy said "They must have seen an opportunity."
"And with the festival our guard was down even more." Carla added.
"There's more, close to a hundred thousand."
"Man it's like midnight." I whined "I don't wanna fight at this hour."
"We can't just charge through." Michelle said "Well we could but it would ake a long time and the town would be destroyed by the time we got close."
"Well let's go over it." Natsu said "The sky is an option."
"Yeah." Wendy nodded.
"Let's go Happy!"
"Borrowing this!" Sherria said grabbing the cat.
"WAH!"
Carla was carrying Wendy and Sherria was stealing a ride from Happy.
"Wax-Make: Icarus Wings!"
I made a small pack and started riding after them.
"Boy there are a lot of them." Wendy gulped.
"Look at all of them heading to the town." I said "Dang…"
"We should leave the town defense to Lyon and the others." Sherria said "We need to take out the beast tamers, sorry I stole you Happy."
"It's no big deal, you way lighter than Lucy." He said.
"I just…want to protect everyone." Sherria frowned.
"On that hill!" I pointed out "Drop in there."
Happy and Carla let them both go and I removed my fake wings.
"HYA!" Wendy and Sherria crashed down, kicking two men in the face.
"Wax-Make: Cestus!" A hard wax covered my hand "RAAH!"
I drilled a man with a face punch.
"Sky Dragon Roar!"
"Sky God's Bellow!"
Wendy and Sherria combined their breath attacks and blew the enemies away.
"Wax-Make: Reverberating Gong!"
I banged a wax stick on the disc making an ear-splitting noise.
"Wax-Make: Guitar Axe!"
I weapon appeared in my hand and I bashed someone down.
"It's just a couple little girls!" a man yelled "Take care of them!"
"Hmm…" Wendy started looking around "This smell…"
"Huh?" I tilted my head.
"GAH!"
Suddenly we were both thrown to the ground by nothing.
Michelle's POV
"The monsters are almost here!"
"So the fights about to start." I said making my sword appear "Let's go!"
"Damn thief!" Natsu yelled running through all the monsters.
"So much for that." I sighed.
"There are still more coming."
"All right!" I cheered scattering seeds everywhere "Here we go!"
A large cluster of palm trees grew out of the street.
"Coconut Bomber!"
I snapped my fingers and the fruit of the trees fell down and concussed into a large blast.
"Here I go!" Lucy pulled out one of her keys "Gate of the Lion!"
"Your knight is reporting for duty." The man said straightening his suit.
"And!"
Lucy seemed to stab herself with the key
"Star-dress: Leo Style!"
"Wow!" I admired her new outfit, a beautiful black dress "Where do I get one."
You know between me and Erza and now Lucy…the ability to change clothes at the drop of a hat is kinda losing its luster.
"Anyway, I'm fighting too." Lucy nodded.
"Very well." I said creating vines to bat back the monster "Let me try this."
A bud grew on a building.
"Pheromone Sprayer!"
The monsters were drawn the scent of the flower.
"Perfect, take them out now!"
"Lucy Regulus Kick!" She said throwing out her usual basic kick attack.
"And all interest you built up was just lost." I sighed.
I hope Wendy's all right…
I turned at cut down a monster.
If the beasts are this savage the master must be even worse.
Carole's POV
"What is this?!" I growled "I can't move!"
"It's gravity!" Wendy cried out.
"You are familiar." A man said walking by us.
"Bluenote Stinger!" she yelled.
This guy was big and had his hair tied into one long ponytail.
"The guy from Grimoire Heart!" Happy yelled "The one Gildarts had to fight!"
This guy is from when I was just a kid.
"I'll start with you…" he reached down.
"Sherria!"
"Found ya!" Natsu suddenly grabbed her.
"Natsu!" I yelled.
"What do you think you're doing stealing Happy like that?!"
"Now is not the time!" I yelled.
He's standing in the gravity well…
"Don't you remember this guy." Happy said.
"Hmm…nah not really."
Bluenote appeared to be studying Natsu, as if to sense the change from long ago.
The dark mage ran at Natsu, he wanted to take him out before he could do anything.
"FALL!"
A gigantic crater formed and Natsu and Sherria were thrown down.
"No Way!" Natsu used his fire to boost himself back up "This ain't the end for Fairy Tail, not yet!"
Natsu shot off a roar so big you couldn't see where it ended.
Scary…
"Ha…ha…ugh." A charred Bluenote fell to the ground.
"KYA!" Sherria cried "You burnt my clothes off!"
"What about the rest of them?" I asked.
"We concede!" they said walking off.
"I think we won." Wendy smiled.
Later
"So…how long do you think they're gonna sit there?" I asked Carla.
"A while, not too much longer I hope, we need to get moving." The cat said.
The sun was rising, and Sherria and Wendy were talking under a tree in the park, pretty sure they were holding hands.
"Ha…" I huffed to myself.
"What is it?" Carla asked as we walked off.
"They're totally in love."
Michelle's POV
"Thank you for everything." Wendy and Carole bowed.
"I'm sorry we're being selfish." Wendy said.
"We let you in always know this was probably going to happen." Lyon said "don't be so upset."
"Stop crying Wendy." Sherria smiled "You too Carole."
"I'm not crying!" the girl said pulling her cap down.
"BYE!" we all waved walking off.
We didn't waste any time heading out of town.
"How long are you gonna cry?" Carole asked Wendy.
"But everyone was so nice, and then I met Natsu…and…WAHHH!"
She's got two toned tears!
"This was just the start." Natsu smiled "We've gotta get everyone back."
"Where are we going next?" Happy asked.
"Let's see…" Lucy said looking at her map "There's a village just to the east of here called the Rainfall town."
"Rain?" I said.
"Yes, supposedly it never stops raining there."
"You think…" I raised a brow.
"Has to be." Carla sighed.
"Juvia."
"Hmm?" I stopped walking "Well we need to take another way around."
"What do you mean?" Lucy said trotting up to the front.
"Look."
Up ahead the road was blocked by a crowd of people.
"That's strange." Wendy said.
"Let's check it out." Carole suggested.
"Hey wait for me!" Lucy said as we all headed to the crowd.
