Chapter 6: Game On Pt. 1

"What was that?" Darcy asked as she heard what sounded like a roar and saw fire coming out of Aku's castle. She looked over to her sister, Minnie, who shrugged as she walked atop the gate.

The two had been told by their mother that they were going to see the city and would have an escort. So they had to wait by the gate for him and tell her if he was late.

'I wonder who this guy is. Why not Helga or Uncle Nergal?' Darcy thought as she looked towards the doors of the castle. Said doors then opened and when she saw who came out, a smile graced her face. "Naruto!" she shouted. Minnie heard her shout and looked to see Naruto coming their way.

Naruto waved at the two as he came up to them with a smile. "It's great to see you, Darcy-chan, Minnie-chan. So are you two ready to see the town?"

"You mean you're our escort?" Darcy said hopefully, to which Naruto nodded. She would have stars in her eyes if she had any. "That's so cool! This is going to be so much fun!"

"Indeed." Minnie said as she jump down from the gate. "But tis unusual of mother to let anyone but our Uncle and Nanny to guard us." she then held the edges of her dress and bowed. "Nevertheless, tis our honor to have thy escort us."

"What she means is, let's go have some fun!" Darcy shouted as she threw her hands up with excitement. Minnie sighed at her sister's actions, but smiled since they shared the same feelings.

"Alright let's go" Naruto said as he began to walk towards the city, with the two girls not far behind.

-With the Grim Family-

Mandy watched Naruto and her daughters leave from the window of their room above. "Lady Mandy." Mandy turned at the sound of Helga's voice. "Forgive me for asking, but why did you leave the task of escorting Minnie and Darcy in the hands of a total stranger, instead of Jr. or I? What if he means harm to them?"

"That boy wouldn't harm anyone for no reason." Mandy said evenly. "Especially people he likes; he is too kind hearted for that. Take a look." Helga walks over beside her and looks out the window, to see the girls and Naruto laughing and talking happily. "They seem to enjoy his company as well and vice versa. That boy can become a great asset to me if I play my cards right. And I believe I can use this friendship they all are forming to my advantage over him and Aku." Everyone wondered what she had planned, but their thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. "What do you want?"

One of Aku's ninja's came through the door. "Forgive my intrusion," he said, "but I wanted to inform you of some developments in the meeting during your absence."

"And they are?" Mandy demanded in a drawled out tone.

-Flashback, A few minutes ago-

"Compensation?" Spawn asked as he raised an eyebrow, Aku nodded. "So you do seek to gain something out of this."

"No, Naruto does." Aku corrected. "All rewards for his missions would go to him and him only, to do with as he wishes; but what I want to change about that is the reward. You don't have to give him money of any kind, I will provide all his finances during his stay in the Underworld. What I want is for Naruto to grow and learn here in the Underworld. So for compensation for his missions, give him something that will help his growth, teach him something, or owe him a favor. I don't really care which and I am not forcing you to do so, I am just asking."

"I'm fine with it." Corset said as he shrugged. "It's the same all over the Underworld; nothing is for free and who knows, a little gift may motivate him to work harder."

"I'm ok with it." Said Hunson Abederr. "He's going to be doing me a huge favor with this one mission in mind. I'll at least owe him something."

"I doubt the boy would accept anything I give him." Him said uncaringly. "But whether I do give him something depends entirely on how good he does or if I am in a giving mood."

"I never thought of teaching anyone after the loss of my last apprentice." Clockwork said, changing from his child form to young adult. "But I will see what I can teach the boy in due time."

"I don't know what I can give him." Lady Death said honestly. "But if he can help me with my problem, I will give him anything within my power."

"I still don't trust the idea nor do I even have any need for this system of yours." Spawn added in. "But if I ever have need of him, we will see what he gets."

"Very well." Aku said in acceptance. "Now that we have come to an agreement, the meeting will be put to a rest until further notice or if one of you has any more questions." Aku snapped his fingers and one of his ninja appeared. "Inform Lady Mandy about this new development."

The ninja bowed before going out of the room.

-Flashback End-

Mandy turned towards the window after hearing the ninja explain the rest of the meeting. "Tell Aku this..." Mandy began. "I am not one to give anything, but the boy is aiding me and I hate to be in debt or owe anyone anything. So what he receives depends on how well he does his job. Oh and one more thing." Mandy turned to the ninja giving him a glare that made even Death's bones shiver in his cloak. "If Aku or that boy crosses me in any way, the only thing they will receive is death beneath my heels as they beg for mercy. Got it?"

"Y-yes, Lady Mandy." Stuttered the ninja, running out of there faster than anyone could blink.

"This has been one hell of a day." Mandy muttered as she turned to the others. "Helga, Junior, I want you both out of the room." She then gave Grim a glare he knew all too well. "I need to speak with bonehead here."

Helga and Jr. didn't need to be told twice as they both got up and left the room, leaving Grim to his wife's wrath. "Soooo…" Grim drug out, sweating bullets as he twiddled his boney fingers. "What is dis all about?"

"Don't play dumb, that's your day job." Mandy crossed her arms and sat in a chair facing Grim. "I saw you during the meeting. When Aku talked about Naruto and his world, you reacted every time; so I'm only going to ask once..." She then began releasing a massive amount of Killer Intent, scaring away all the nearby guards.

Grim gulped. His skeleton was coming out of the closet and he knew if he didn't answer, his own was going in the ground. He sighed and took a deep breath before speaking. "Ok Mandy, I'll talk." His wife calmed down, but not much. "Do you remember that maid I brought back from work all those years ago?"

This got Mandy to raise an eyebrow.

-With Naruto and the Daughters of Grim-

"WOW!" Darcy shouted as she looked at all the lights, buildings, and the shops.

Naruto couldn't help but be impressed too as there was nothing like this in Konoha. All they had was food, clothes, and weapons stores. This place had all that and more; flying cars for sale, magic items, demonic flower shops, screaming heads on discount, and more.

Darcy came to an arcade zone with the title 'Monster Busters X5' her eyes lit up as she turned to Minnie and Naruto. "Let's go in here!"

Minnie looked up at the sign and placed her finger on her chin. "Tis be valued weapons practice like mother wanted." She then looks back at Darcy. "Are thou sure thou want to do this, thou has never held a weapon before and tis game is very real."

"Stop being such a fun spoiler!" Darcy shouted, giving her sister a glare. "Just because I haven't used any of those fancy weapons you have, doesn't mean I can't do it. Just watch and see." Darcy then turned and stormed into the arcade room.

Minnie was about to call out to her, until Naruto put a hand on her shoulder and she looked up at his smiling face. "Don't worry, Minnie-chan, even if things get bad, I'm your escort. I'll protect you both with my life, ok?" Minnie smiled back at him and nodded. "Great let's go." Naruto then held her hand as he led her inside, not noticing the blush on her face.

The inside wasn't what Naruto was expecting. It was a large room, but there was barely anything in it. There was a circle with symbols in it on the far side of the room, a wall holding up various weapons, and a nerdy looking purple demon standing there smiling at them.

Darcy was looking at the weapons on the wall, Minnie went over to her as the demon went over to Naruto. "Hello there, fine sir." He said, still smiling, which creeped Naruto out. "Welcome to Monster Buster X5, the arcade game people just die for or come back to life for." He then looked over at the girls. "I must say, this isn't the place I would bring a date." He then gave Naruto a thumbs up. "But you're a lucky guy, especially to have two girlfriends."

The girls heard him and had heavy blushes on their faces. Naruto was also flustered as he waved his hands in defense. "Y-you got it all wrong," he protested, "I'm just their escort."

The demon's eyes widened as he turned to the girls. "You two seem a little young to be into the escort business, but…" he gave them an even creeper smile and a thumbs up that seemed to shine. "I hope he's worth what you paid for in—"

"NOT THAT ESCORT, YOU BASTARD!" Naruto shouted, the girls were completely beet red in the face, and the demon just nodded obviously not believing him. Naruto rubbed the bridge of his nose, trying not to kill this guy. "J-just tell us how to play this damn game, please."

"Oh, it's quite simple." The demon pointed to the wall of weapons. "You each pick a weapon…" he then pointed to the circle on the floor. "Then step on the teleportation circle and you will be transported to the first level. There are five in total, each with three different types of monsters to fight as well as a mini boss. After you complete all five levels, you will face the final boss. If you win, you will be teleported back here. Also you each will be competing to see who gets the most points. The one with the most points will come back to find the wall of weapons to be a wall of prizes and can choose one. Our policy is to warn customers about the risk they will be taking if they play. You can die if a monster kills you, no extra lives or restarts, and we will not be held responsible if you do. Do you still want to play?"

Naruto looked over at the girls for their answer. Darcy nodded excitedly as Minnie looked at him for a moment then smiled before nodding. Naruto smiled back at them and turned to the demon. "We'll play, but there will be no dying; just winning."

"If you say so," the demon said, shrugging. "Oh and how will you be paying?" Naruto reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a card made out of black metal that looked like an eye with horns on it. When the demon saw it, his eyes widened as he fell to his knees and bowed. "Forgive me, sir, I did not know you were an ally of Lord Aku! You can play, for free!"

"Ok..." Naruto raised his eyebrow as he looked at the card and remembered how he got it.

-Flashback Start-

Naruto was about to exit into the courtyard, until he heard footsteps. He turned to see one of Aku's ninjas coming up to him. "Can I help you?"

"I'm glad I caught you, young master." The shadow ninja presented a card to the Uzumaki. "This is for you."

"What is it?" Naruto asked as he examined it.

"That is your Aku pass. If you go into any building or store that requires money or some form of payment here in the Underworld, just show them this and you won't have to worry about a thing."

-Flashback End-

'Glad I got this when I did.' Naruto thought as he looked over to Darcy and Minnie. "So have you two picked your weapons yet?"

"I got a scythe like the one dad uses." Darcy said as she held up a scythe her size; the handle was white with red patterns on it and a glowing black blade.

"Tis time to put the months of archery lessons to use." Minnie said as she held a black and dark green longbow, on her back were solid black arrows, some with different colored tips. She then looked at Naruto. "What weapon will thou choose?"

"I'm already armed." Naruto flipped his cloak back, revealing his swords and guns before he turned to the arcade employee. "We're ready."

"Alright. Step into the circle." Once they were all in the circle, the demon waved as he held up his other hand. "Good luck and let the game begin." He then snapped his fingers and the circle glowed red as it rose up transporting the three away.

-In the game-

Naruto and the girls soon found themselves in a wasteland with dead trees and no sign of life. Looking up, they saw bold red and neon words that said 'Level 1: Wastelands of Death' floating in the air. The words vanished moments later, replaced by the word 'Begin!' before it too vanished.

Not a second later they saw some creatures heading towards them. The group was small, but they weren't. They were large ogres with green and black skin, all having clubs in their hands and roared when they saw them.

"Well this might be funnier than I thought." Naruto said, smirking as he pulled out Yami and rushed towards the ogres.

Minnie was way ahead of him and scored the first hit by shooting an arrow right through an ogre's head. As he died, he turned into black dust and numbers appeared by Minnie and read '10'.

'So that's how the winner is decided; by points from kills.' Naruto thought as he lunged at an ogre and sliced it in half, gaining the same amount of points.

"I'm not gonna lose to you two." Darcy said, running at an ogre and cutting its head off. She then turned to see two ogres coming at her. She went to swing at the first one, but to her surprise the red pattern on the scythe glowed and the blade extended, allowing her to cut through both of them before returning back to normal. She smiled as she looked at the scythe "Wow this thing is awesome! I wish I could take this ho-AHHH!" Naruto and Minnie turned to see Darcy… headless? They look up to see a flock of stone gargoyles, one carrying Darcy's skull with its talons in her eye sockets. "Really!? This is embarrassing!"

"Hang on, dear sister." Minnie said as she pulled out an arrow with a white tip.

"To what!?" Darcy shouted

"Touché." Minnie said, shooting the arrow. When it took flight, it became coated in a light energy and destroyed the gargoyles entire upper body. "As sister Darcy would say: 'cool'."

As Darcy's skull fell, her body was moving left and right to catch it. It held out its hands when it came close, only for Naruto to catch it as he stood over her body. "Thanks" She said as he put her head back on her body with a smile. When she looked down, Darcy noticed how close she was to him, she blushed as she backed away quickly rushing back into the fight.

Naruto was confused by her actions, but shrugged it off as he sheath his sword and pulled out his guns ready to shoot down the gargoyles; until he heard something roar nearby. He turned to see the third monster group -minotaurs- each with their own weapons.

Naruto saw Minnie could handle the gargoyles and Darcy the rest of the ogres. The shinobi charged at the minotaurs and fired a bullet into the roaring mouth of one. He came up to another one and dodged a slash from its large sword, before pistol-whipping it and shooting it in the side of the head. He saw one charging at him with its head down, intent on impaling him with its horns, but the only thing it impaled was the barrel of Naruto's gun before he blew it's head up; sadly his guns were damaged as well.

'Oh well, time to put all this knowledge sensei gave me to use.' He thought as his guns were wrapped in youki, transforming into two mini machine guns. "Say hello to my little friends!" Naruto shouted as he unleashed a barrage of bullets upon the humanoid bulls.

A dust cloud rose and Naruto finally stopped firing. When the dust settled, he saw only four minotaurs left without holes in their chests. Not wanting to end up like the others, they decided to run. Naruto turned around and held up one of his guns, the barrel morphed into a cannon, shot out one missile and it hit the remaining minotaurs in a fiery explosion. Naruto blew the smoke from the barrel of the cannon before changing them back to his regular guns.

"Technology is awesome."

Darcy had just finished cutting the last ogre in half as Minnie had just shot down the last gargoyle. The three then heard a loud roar coming from the sky. Looking up, they saw a dragon flying down from the sky. It was small, about as large as two horses; it's eyes were slit yellow, the top half of its body was coated in red scales and it's underbelly was white.

"Tis be the mini-boss, the demon spoke of." Minnie said as she knocked and drew a light arrow before shooting it at the dragon, but the dragon easily dodged it. It dove close to the ground and blew a stream of fire at them. Minnie jumped out of the way as Naruto pulled Darcy to safety. "It's too fast to be struck by my arrows."

"Looks like it's up to me." Naruto said as he let go of Darcy before he flew up and floated in midair. The dragon saw him and charged attempting to devour him. Naruto twisted over its head and grabbed it by the horns as he sat on its neck. The fire breathing lizard tried to knock him off its neck by zipping around and diving to the ground, but all it did was give Naruto the ride of his life. "YEEHAA! Get along lil lizard!" Darcy and Minnie just watch as Naruto was having fun as the dragon crashed into the ground, trying to buck him off like a bull at a rodeo.

"Time to wrangle up this critter." Tentacles sprouted from Naruto's back and wrapped around the dragon's snout, wings, and tied its legs together causing it to fall over. The shinobi jumped into the air and formed a large energy blast and obliterated the dragon and formed a large crater. Landing in front of Darcy and Minnie, he gave a thumbs. "That was a heap of fun."

In the next second, their total score appeared before them: Naruto's was '360', getting an extra hundred for killing the dragon; Minnie's was '270', and Darcy was '260'.

Darcy frowned seeing she was behind her sister, but decided to get a head in the next round.

The magic circle appeared around them and rose up and in the next instant they were in a clearing surrounded by forest trees under a dark sky. The second level title was called 'Dark Forest'.

"I'm definitely gonna score big in this round." Darcy declared, raising her scythe. "Watch me, Naruto, I'm gonna… Naruto?" She looked around to see where Naruto was, but he was gone. "Where did he go?"

"Tis seems to be the magic that transported us, separated him from us." Minnie said as she looked around. The two then heard growling and saw red eyes glaring at them from the shadows of the trees. They also heard the sound of something rustling from the leaves in the trees. Minnie and Darcy were back to back as they watched for any more movement. "Tis seems our search for Naruto shall have to wait."

The skeletal sister nodded in agreement as the two raised their weapons ready to fight.

-With Naruto-

"WHERE THE HELL AM I!" Naruto shouted as he felt like he had been treading through the forest for days. "Damn magic circle. When I get back, I'm gonna punch that demon right in the-OW!" Naruto felt something punch him in the back. He turned around, ready to fight whoever it was; but there was no one, just more trees.

Naruto looked around to see any signs of anyone, but nothing. But he did sense that someone or something was very close to him. He was then punched again in the back, he turned around to once again see nothing except a tree.

'Damn it, is this thing invisible?' Naruto pondered as he was on his guard. 'It has to be, it's not like the trees are hitting me… wait a minute.' Naruto turned to the closest tree, looked at it and kept up his gaze for a moment as he slowly reached for his swords.

The bark on the tree began to twist and morph until it formed the shape of a face with red eyes. Naruto quickly slashed the tree in half, causing it to turn to black ashes. Then all the trees around him began to shake as they grew faces with the branches coming together to form arms and their roots lifted them up like legs. Looking around he was surrounded by an army of demonic trees. 'So the whole forest is against me, remind me never to go camping.' He thought as the trees closed in on him.

Naruto smirked as he began making hand signs. "You guys are perfect candidates to try my new Katon jutsu. And if you can't understand me, that means fire." The sentient trees backed away at the mention of fire. Naruto kneaded chakra as well as a little of the Darkness in his body. "Yami Katon: Akuma Gōkakyū no Jutsu (Darkness Fire Style: Demonic Fireball Jutsu)." Naruto spat out flames, but unlike the usual blazing red, these were dark purple color.

The effect was the same as Naruto blew the fire around in a circle, burning away the demonic trees in an instant leaving behind a purple blazing wall of flame that quickly spread throughout the area; burning more and more. Naruto stopped as he realized the fire was consuming more than he had intended, spreading and eating away at everything as if it was alive. Before he could do anything, four Darkness serpents sprouted from his back. They opened their mouths and as if beckoning to their call, the fire stopped and flowed into their mouths.

'MmmMMm, RoAsTeD deMOn HEarTs.' Naruto heard the Darkness's voice inside his head 'UsE ouR POwEr MorE. fEEd US moRE heArtS, mAKe uS STroNgER.'

"…Eh~ I like Lilith's voice in my head much better." Naruto said bluntly, only for a tendril to come out of his back and smack him upside the head. "OW! Apparently she has the humor side of the Darkness as well as the better voice-Whoa!" Naruto ducked barely missed being hit by the tendril again "Ok, ok! Geez let's go find you something else to eat." The Darkness instantly retracted into his body and Naruto sighed as he flew into the air. 'My life would make a good comedy story, cause shit always happens to me.' He thought as he heard the sound howling and took off in that direction.

-Back with Minnie and Darcy-

"Take this!" Darcy shouted as she slashed a large red furred wolf. Another one went to lunge at her, but was split in two when she brought the blade in front of her.

"Above thee!" Minnie shouted, shooting two arrows into the tree. Falling out of the tree with arrows pierced through their chest, two human women with pointy ears, bow and arrows in hand, and wearing vine made clothing over their chest and waist. One had light skin, blonde hair, and red lines all over her body, the other had dark skin, black hair and purple lines over her body. "Tis strange to see light and Dark elves together. Fantasy novels state the two sides have a strong hatred for one another." Minnie turned around and shot a blue arrow at a light elf riding one of the wolves, the arrow exploded on contact and encased them in ice before shattering. She heard rustling in the tree and looked over to Darcy who had three wolves in front of her. "Darcy, switch!"

Darcy was confused by what she said, until she saw the rustling in the tree and smirked. "Alright, here I come!"

The walking skeleton rushed towards her sister with her scythe reared back and the wolves right behind her. Minnie pulled out a bright red arrow and pointed it at Darcy. The moment she released it, Darcy jumped in the air and three dark elves with daggers jumped down from the tree. The arrow pierced through the skull of the middle wolf and exploded in a burst of flames burning the other wolves alive, and as the elves came in range Darcy sliced them all in half, their bodies split perfectly across the waist before vanishing. Darcy landed behind Minnie, back to back as they ready themselves for more wolves and elves to appear.

Minnie then began to giggle, causing Darcy to raise a non-existent eyebrow. "What's so funny?"

"Tis amusing." Minnie turned to her sister smiling. "Tis the first time in a while thy has ever had fun with I. One cannot help but laugh in such a happy moment."

Darcy thought about it for a moment then smiled. "Yea I guess it is kind of funny."

They turned to observe the area as Minnie never noticed Darcy's smile turned to a frown; whose attention was drawn back by a bunch of wolves coming out with elves right beside them.

Darcy and Minnie were ready to fight, until a bunch of black tendrils burst through the trees and wrap around all the elves and wolves. Before any of them could react, the tendrils pierced their chests and pulled out their hearts before a mouth opened up and tore them apart; like a starving dog eating a fresh piece of meat.

"Looks like you two are having fun without me." A familiar voice said, making them smile as they looked up to see Naruto floating in the air. The tentacles -after finishing their meal- receded back into his back as he landed down on the ground. "Glad to see you're both alright." He said smiling at the two. Naruto was about to say something else, until he heard the sound of something hissing loudly. "Sounds like the boss is here."

Trees began to crack and fall around them as something big came closer. They all got their weapons ready, the trees around them uprooted as a large purple snake tail rose out of the ground. Raising up from behind, the tail originated from a dark skin woman with white hair and yellow slit eyes as her upper body was connected to the snake body.

She was a lamia, the half snake woman. However that was not what had the three fighters in a state of shock. What was surprising was that she wasn't wearing anything to cover her large mounds.

Naruto looked away blushing. Minnie looked down at her own chest and pouted. Darcy did the same thing, but frowned as she crossed her arms.

The skeletal girl saw her sister patting her chest with a sad look and gave her a soft glare. "Oh stop complaining," she said as she pointed to herself. "At least you can get some and can grow; I'm a skeleton, I got nothing."

Naruto was too busy trying not to look at the snake woman's chest; he wasn't paying them any attention. The Grim sisters saw the blush on his face and their jealousy of the lamia turned into pure rage as they saw the lamia look at him with interest while she licked her lips. The two underworld children raised their weapons with a raging fire burning in the background behind them.

"I'm sure mom would appreciate some snakeskin clothing and accessories, right sis?"

"Indeed sister. Shall we skin this snake and destroy those eyesores?" Minnie said

"You read my mind."

The lamia quickly adopted an expression of pure fear as she felt the malice rolling off of the girls, who charged at the lamia with quite the amount of killing intent. Naruto was about to stop them for being reckless, until he saw how brutally and viciously they destroyed the lamia.

He had never heard such screams of agony in his life and hoped he never did again.

When it was all over, the two stood in front of the mutilated corpse of the lamia before it disappeared. "Any reason why you two destroyed her so evilly?" Inquired the shinobi.

"Because her body insulted our pride and she dared to try to take what's ours." The sisters said in unison with their arms crossed.

Naruto looked at them confused. They frowned at him before turning away from him, a little irritated that he didn't understand a woman's feelings. Their score came up, Naruto was over two thousand, while Darcy and Minnie's score were tied in the three thousands, but a word appeared over their score reading 'Fatality' and gave them an extra five hundred points. the two smiled at each other and Naruto smiled, determined to catch up to them.

-Level 3-

Naruto and the girls appeared in a very large beach, Naruto saw the level title was 'Fun at the Beach'. He soon felt a breeze and looked down, shocked to see he was in nothing but a pair of black swimming trunks as his guns, swords, and cloak laid along sand beside him.

"Why am in a… a…" His words died when he saw that he wasn't only one in a new attire. Minnie was wearing a pink bikini and Darcy in a black one-piece. Naruto didn't notice he was staring until he saw them blushing and he turned away. Something then flashed in his mind, an image of Kurumi in a red bikini that left little to imagination and hugged her assets. 'WHAT THE HELL KURUMI-CHAN!' he thought as his nose began to bleed.

'I was just joining in the fun.' Kurumi said with a foxy grin on her face, reaching for the string holding her bikini together. 'Or would you rather I be nude?' Naruto's nose bled even more, he tried to clean it up before the girls saw it. 'Oh~ Naruto, we really need to work in your sexual education,' Kurumi thought as she giggled at her host's reaction. 'All fun in due time.'

Naruto cleaned up his nose just in time as a bunch of blue scaled serpents with fins came up out of the water and shot a stream of water their way. They all dodged and Darcy was about to charge at them.

'Wait, Darcy." Naruto said, causing her to stop and look at him. "If you get in the water, you will give them a home advantage. I'm sorry but leave this one to Minnie and I."

Darcy didn't want to, but she crossed her arms and nodded with a pout.

Naruto began shooting energy blasts at the serpents as Minnie shot at them with arrows. The shinobi noticed he felt a little weaker than before, but that was understandable since the Darkness was weak against the light of day. He just had to use more power and not rely on it for now, given the number of serpents were almost gone. Naruto drew Hikari and added chakra to the blade, swung the sword and sent an arching wave of chakra to slice off their heads.

Something then shot out of the sand behind Naruto, knocking his sword into the sand and him into the water. "Naruto!" Minnie and Darcy shouted, more creatures began to pop out of the sand and they saw they were giant sand colored crocodiles.

"Finally something I can hit!" Darcy said, smirking as she held up her scythe and slashed the first crocodile she came to. She was so excited she didn't notice the other croc beside her and her head got knocked into the air by its tail, but her body was able to kill it. Another croc licked its mouth in glee as it saw its snack coming it's way. It opened its mouth ready to catch the skull, until Minnie used the top of its mouth as a springboard to catch her sister's head. "Whoa, thanks sis, I guess I got a little carried away."

"Dearest sister..." Minnie said as she held Darcy's face towards her and put it on her body. "As one says, please keep thy head in the game."

"D-did you just make a joke?" Darcy asked with her eyebrow raised, the first time she ever heard her serious sister make a joke. 'This is turning out to be a weird, but fun day.' She thought as she raised her scythe, ready to fight calmly, but glanced at the water and wondered why Naruto hadn't come up yet.

-With Naruto-

Naruto blinked a few times, wondering why everything was so dark.

'Ok let's recap,' Naruto thought. 'One moment I'm being knocked into the water by something, then something dragged me into the water, and now everything is dark.' He placed his hand where he was sitting, but quickly raised it up feeling something wet and slimy. 'And the ground is soft and gross, maybe I got eaten by a whale like that wooden boy in the story.'

Cracks of light began to open up around Naruto, And whatever he was in began to open up, water began to fill the small area up; making Naruto transform his body so he could breathe underwater. His skin became a light greenish color, gills formed on his shoulders, and fins on his arms and legs. When he could see all the way outside, he saw he wasn't in a whale, but a clam at the bottom of the ocean.

'I don't know if a clam is better or worse.' Naruto saw the light from the sun shining from the surface and was about to swim up, until he saw something swimming towards him. He was ready for a fight, but stopped when he saw it was a school of… mermaids. Each of them had fish-like lower halves and only wore a seashell bra. The only difference between them all was their hair color and the color of their fish halves.

"Welcome to the bonus stage." Said one of the mermaids as she swam up to Naruto. She had blue hair, green eyes and a white tail. "My name is Aurora and I commend you for getting this far. This stage is a substitute for the third group of monsters you would have faced, and we would like to give you a prize for making it to such a high point in the game."

Naruto merely gave them a warm smile."As good as that sounds, I can't accept it. My friends and I are just doing this for fun. So I appreciate your generosity ladies, but I must decline."

The mermaids blushed at his kind behavior. Most people would have jumped at the chance for a reward, but he didn't want one. He thought of this as a time to have fun with his friends and gently rejected their offer. It has been a while since they met such a kind soul since they started working in the game.

It was honestly refreshing for the school of mermaids.

Seeing someone like Naruto made them a little over happy and some of them couldn't stop whispering to each other about how handsome he was. Some of the mermaids began swimming around Naruto, before grabbing his arms or leaning onto his chest and back while pressing their ample bust against him.

The Uzumaki's face turned bright red as a result. This was not the kind of reward he thought they were talking about. He especially wasn't expecting Aurora to place her hands on his chest as she laid hers on his groin. "Are you sure you don't want your reward?" She said in a seductive tone as she pressed her chest against him. "We all think you deserve one."

'Oh man, oh man!' Naruto thought as he felt tension building in his lower half. 'Don't stand up, don't you dare stand up! For Kami's sake I'm in cold water and it ain't helping not a bit!' Naruto was brought out of his thoughts as he almost gave a 'Eep' when he felt one of the mermaids grab his rear cheeks and he swore he heard heavy panting. 'Am I being rewarded or molested?'

Before the mermaids could viola—I mean reward him further, a sudden change in the current from behind them got their attention. Naruto looked behind him and saw a giant white Kraken heading for the surface. "That's the boss, right?" Naruto asked Aurora, she nodded, his expression quickly became a serious one. "All of you let go, I have to get back to my friends. They need my help."

All of the mermaids whined and pouted, but they understood a kind soul like him wouldn't leave his friends; so they all reluctantly let go. Naruto smiled at them and was about to swim off-

"Hold on just a moment." Aurora said, causing Naruto to turn to her. "I know you don't want a reward, but take this." She reached in between her cleavage and pulled out a card. When she handed it to Naruto, he saw that it read 'Mermaid's Café' and beside it was Aurora's name in a rainbow of colors. "With that card comes a prize and a favor, if you will quickly hear me out." Naruto looked back at the card for a moment and nodded at her, causing her to smile brightly. "Thank you very much, so can you please…"

-With Darcy and Minnie-

Darcy just sliced the last croc and stared at the water. "Naruto should have come up by now," she said as she gained a worried look. "I hope he's alright."

"Perhaps another set of creatures lurk under the water." Minnie said as she moved towards the water.

She was proven right as something exploded out of the water and a tendril grabbed her. As the water died down, they saw it was a white kraken with yellow eyes. Darcy rushed to her sister's aid, but was blocked by the kraken's tentacles. She hacked away at them, but they seemed to have no end.

"Unhand me, you repulsive creature!" Minnie tried to get her hand free to grab an arrow, but the kraken kept a tight grip on her, restraining her movements. Another one of the tendril pressed on her back, causing her swimsuit top to get stuck in one of its suction cups and Minnie to gasp as it started to come loose. "Remove thy tendril from my swimsuit, you lecherous beast!"

Minnie was very angry now, her eyes had turned a bright green color and a dark aura began to glow around her. Before anything could get any worse, an energy blast shot from underneath the water and straight through the Kraken. As it cried in pain, it tossed Minnie into the air. Bursting from the water, Naruto ran up the Kraken's tentacle and with one final jump, he caught Minnie in the air bridal style. Her eyes had turned back to normal as she had a blush on her face.

As the Kraken fell dead in the water, Naruto landed on the beach with the red Minnie, giving her a warm smile. "I'm glad you're safe, Minnie-chan!" He said, causing her to blush more as she nodded.

Naruto put her down, but as she stood up straight her already loosened top came completely off, revealing her bare breast. Naruto's face went bright red as his eyes widened. Minnie was even brighter as she covered her breast and tried not to scream.

"I'm sorry, l-let me get your top… wait where did it go!?" Naruto turned to the ocean and saw the waves had carried it off. He jumped into the water and went to get it, hoping the water would cool him off. 'This has been some day.'

Watching the two from the side, Darcy frowned as she had a sad look, before giving her sister a glare. 'Why is it always her?' she thought as she sat in the sand.

-Meanwhile-

Hunson Abadeer was sitting in his room, taking a drink of coffee, when he heard a knock on his door. "It's open," he said. When the door opened, he was greeted by the old form of Clockwork and smiled. "Clockwork, to what do I owe the pleasure of your visit?"

Clockwork smiled as he turned into his child form. "Actually, Hunson, I have a favor to ask."

-In Aku's library-

Naruto's clones were tired. Over one hundred and fifty of his clones had been killed, eaten, transported into a book, etc; and now only fifty are left.

"What the hell!" Exclaimed one of the clones as he slumped down to the ground next to the rest of them. "Sensei needs to get new minions. 'They are not dangerous, unless my minion's messed up the annual reshelving.' How the hell do you get enchanted books that can kill you, mixed up with normal books? I don't want to open another book as long as I live, which may not be long in here."

All the other clones gave words and shouts of agreement, not wanting to read anymore. They came out of their tired state when they heard slurping sounds coming around the corner. They all got up and looked around the corner, to see a clone eating a bowl of ramen.

"Where'd you get that!?"

The clone stops mid-slurp to see his drooling brothers. Looking down, they saw that beside the one clone was a book titled '1001 Recipes for Ramen'.

The clone tossed the bowl of ramen and grabbed the book. "You can't have my precious!" He hissed before running away, knocking over books causing a bunch of monsters and beings to come out.

"FOR THE RAMEN!" A clone shouted, now dressed in battle armor and pointing his sword at the monsters. "CHARGE!"

The clones gave out a mighty battle cry as they went to war to retrieve the sacred book that holds the key to the food of the gods.

So like in the AN of this particular chapter of the previous story, the harem list would be here in its entirety. Yet as of late I don't feel the need to reveal all of the members as I want to release the details as time progresses. Somewhat like what I've done on some of my other stories.

Not to mention that not every member put down on LightDarknessReborn's story will be in this. Mostly because of how things have changed over the past years with the various series this story is touching upon. The other reason being that some girls when thinking about it now just don't seem to fit well or whatever.

Perhaps Loona, the hellhound secretary or Crymini, also a hellhound of Irish descent. Maybe even Cherri Bomb as Naruto helps her and Angel Dust with their respective problems, especially with what was released in the Addict music video.
