Kanji's POV
"Uhhh…" I groaned opening my eyes "What happened?"
"You fell asleep." Erza said walking in and handing me a glass of water "How you feeling?"
"I feel pretty good." I smiled.
"You should you've been out for a whole day." She said "I'm just glad you got to sleep."
"Me too." I smiled.
"We just have one small problem." She smiled.
"Huh?"
"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!" she said shaking me "Leaving our infant daughter home alone! She's barely six months and you left her alone in her crib, what if something happened to her, or someone broke in!"
"Erza relax."
"My poor little Ellie." She pouted.
"She's fine though right?" I smiled "I'm sorry, I won't do it again…it was just that something was calling to me, I had to go out there to help you."
"I know, it was so great to see everyone."
"Speaking of which, where did everybody go?" I asked "I wanted to talk with them all."
"They all went to gather their things." She said sitting in bed with me holding my hand "Everyone is finally coming back…All of us, together, Fairy Tail."
A smile crossed my lips "So, it's finally time for Ellie to meet the rest of her family?"
"Yes, it's finally time for our friends to meet our daughter."
Erza climbed under the covers with me "But it's late, can we sleep."
"Yeah." I said hugging her "I could use a few more hours."
Later
"Don't you look just adorable in that little dress." Erza smiled buckling Elise into the stroller.
"Goo!" the baby mumbled.
"I can't wait for everyone to meet you." I said "I'm sure they'll love you."
"Gah!" Ellie giggled.
"I can't wait to see everyone myself." Erza said as we walked down the streets.
"Same here, it'll be nice to see everyone again."
"Well there it is." Erza said as we went up the hill "What's left of the guildhall."
"Erza! Kanji!" a voice yelled.
"Mira!" we both smiled as the girl ran up to us.
"It's so great to see the two of you." She said hugging us.
"You too."
"Hmm?" she looked down "Well what's this here?"
"Mira." Erza smiled taking the baby out of the stroller "This is Elise, our daughter."
Mira's face slowly became a smile "You two had a baby! Oh wow she's so adorable!"
"Can I hold her, please, please, please!" Mira begged.
"Okay calm down." Erza giggled passing her the baby.
"Oh she's just so cute, hi, I'm your Aunt Mira."
Ellie just giggled and smiled at her.
Mira rocked the baby softly "I'm so happy I've always wanted a baby."
"Umm she's ours…" Erza and I groaned.
"Hehe, sorry." She laughed handing the baby back to Erza.
We followed Mira back towards the guild hall where most of the old members had gathered, it was great to see everyone again, they were all fascinated with Elise, saying how cute she was or how much she reminded them of Erza.
She does take after her mother more than she takes after me.
It didn't take long for more people to arrive, Gray and Juvia showed up, Kage and Laki followed soon after with Kinana.
Then Lucy and Natsu showed up with Wendy, Michelle and Carole. It was great to see all of them.
"I'm…back…" Lucy whimpered.
"It's great to have you home." Mira smiled.
"Well most of us are here." I smiled "I suppose we're back in business."
"She's just adorable!"
I sighed, all the girls had gathered around Erza and we playing and watching Elise, poor girl was getting swallowed up with attention.
"So you're a dad now too.
"Welcome to the club kid."
Macao and Wakaba were hanging around me.
"Soon you'll be old and washed up like us, enjoy it while you still can." Wakaba said "Soon she'll be asking for money…"
"They grow up so fast!" Macao cried.
"Wow you two are pathetic!"
Still…I love my little girl, and I'll protect her forever and ever.
There is one problem here though, where's the rest of my family?
