Kanji's POV

"This is taking way longer than I wanted it too." I sighed.

We had to rebuild the whole guildhall from the ground up, and it was taking a while.

"It would be easier if more people pitched in." Erza said as she held the baby.

"Well why aren't you helping?"

"I'm taking care of our baby you idiot." She glared.

"Sorry Hun."

"It'd be easier if everyone was here." She said "Your whole family isn't back yet."

"Yeah…" I hummed "Laxus and his whole team, Lauren and Flare, even the old man isn't back yet."

"I wonder if the master is coming back?" Laki said.

"I'm sure he'll turn up eventually." Warren shrugged.

"I made posters." Reedus smiled.

"You're treating him like a damn criminal!" Kage hissed "And you made the reward too cheap!"

"Kanji do you know where the Master is?" Lucy asked.

"Nah, I haven't seen the old man in over a year, not since I blew up on him for dissolving the guild, it's not like him to just drop off the face of the earth for no reason, he must be up to something."

"So much has changed." Lucy said "Everyone is different, you two had a kid…I'm starting to feel old."

"Lucy you're not even twenty." I sighed.

"What are you doing Levy?" Wendy asked as the girl was writing something out.

"Huh? Oh I'm just filling out some paperwork." The girl said "Saying you'll bring a guild back doesn't mean much, you have to fill out forms and registration, get permission from the council otherwise we'd technically be a dark guild. I wanna make sure there are no problems with us coming back. There's just a single box left."

"I see…" Mira hummed "The toughest one no doubt.

"Huh?" Wendy asked "Toughest?"

"We need to pick a Master." Levy sighed.

"Well it won't be easy." Carla sighed pointing at Natsu and Elfman fighting "Who would be able to control that bunch."

The fight soon turned into an all-out brawl, normally I didn't mind fighting but with Ellie around I didn't want her getting trampled or crashed into.

"Hey you idiots knock it off." I said "There are kids around here someone is gonna end up getting hurt."

"RAH!" Natsu picked up a barrel and hurled it at me.

"Watch it!" I said zapping it without lifting a finger "Before you hit my daughter!"

I stomped my foot and a rumbled of thunder rang out "Now that I'm a parent I get why gramps was always so pissed at you people! We've been back together for a whole day and I already want to rip my hair out!"

"Yep." Levy nodded.

"It's in his blood of course." Mira laughed.

"Then the Seventh Master will be Kanji."

"What?" I hissed "I don't want the old man's job, can't we just give it to Laxus or something."

"He's not here." Mira smiled "and we need a signature."

"Fine whatever…" I sighed scribbling something down.

"Can you do that?" Wendy asked.

"I'll manage." I told her.

"You're perfect." Erza smiled.

"She's right…" a voice said.

"So you stopped hiding back there." I sighed "You think I didn't feel your energy?"

I turned around "Mest…or Doranbolt, which one's you're name this time?"

"Mest…" he sighed "I need your help."

"For what?" I mumbled "I ain't blind, I see the mark on your arm, you may be a member here so why are you asking for help."

"Because…" he said "You're the only ones who can save Master Makarov."
