Chapter 14
Things have been quiet since Katherine has been gone. I decided that I wanted to keep in touch with Nik and Eli since I don't see them much and Damon is supportive but I made them all promise that they would not try to deter me from each other and they agreed. Sitting outside in the backyard of the boarding house, I am meditating when I feel someone come up on me. Looking up, I see Elena and roll my eyes. "What can I do for you Elena?" I asked. "Are you seriously still with Damon?" she asked. "Yes Elena. I'm not going anywhere so drop it." I say. "Well, I won't give up on him. Just know that." she says before walking away. Of course, she would ruin my zen. Getting up off the ground, I head inside to take a hot bath, hoping that would help me calm down when Damon comes in. "Hey baby." he says as I head into the bathroom. "Hey." I say and close the door. Walking in behind me, he says "Hey. Talk to me." I sigh and say "My meditation was interrupted and it's got me a little tense." I tell him. "Who interrupted?" he asked and I just looked at him. "Oh. I'll stop that. What did she want?" he asked. "To tell me that she wasn't going to give up on you. I swear, Damon, I will lock her ass in one of the cells and cast a silencing spell on her ass." I tell him and he smirks before coming to me to put his arms around me. "Take your bath. There's bubble bath on the side of the tub I bought for you. Relax and I will handle her." he tells me. "I love you." He says. "I love you too." I tell him before starting my bath water.
After my bath, I am feeling a little more relaxed and walk down the stairs to hear yelling. Walking into the parlor, I see Stefan off to the side and Damon and Elena yelling at each other. "You need to drop it Elena. You and I will never be together. I love Kali and nothing will change that." he yells at her. "You don't love her. You used to love me." she counters. "No, I thought I did. I love Kali. Now, you need to stop these games and leave her alone." he says. "Or what? What is it that she thinks she can do to me? You won't let her hurt me." she says. "Oh. Yeah, I will." he says. "Well, then Stefan won't." she says. "I won't stop her. You brought this on yourself." Stefan says before I walk the rest of the way into the room. "Damon. I told you what I would do." I say. "Have at it baby." he says before walking to stand beside Stefan. "You good with this Stefan?" I asked and he nodded his head yes. I start chanting and before I know it, she passes out. "Can one of you carry her to the cells please?" I asked and Stefan carries her. We lock her in a cell and I cast a spell that will keep us from hearing her down here. "Now, no matter how loud she yells, we won't hear her until we can figure out what to do with her." I say. "I'll call Jeremy." Stefan says.
An hour later, Jeremy is sitting in the parlor with Damon, Stefan and I. "Can you please do something with your sister? She won't leave me and Damon alone." I tell him. "Where is she?" he asked. "I'll tell you but you can't get mad." I tell him and show him to the cell she is being kept in. "Can't you all hear me yelling?" she asked. "Nope. Cast a silencing spell. Couldn't hear a thing." I tell her grinning. She sees Jeremy and says "Jer, help me. They are holding me hostage." she pleads. "Looks like you deserved it. I will get them to release you but you have to leave Kali and Damon alone. They are together and you aren't going to change that." he says and she finally agrees. We let her go and she walks out the door with Jeremy behind her.
