Kanji's POV

"Oh my head." I sighed rubbing my temples.

We had boarded a boat and were heading to the kingdom of Alverez but in order to get there we had to take a boat and I always get headaches on boats.

"Are you sure it was a good idea to leave Elise with Kinana?" Erza asked.

"She'll be fine." I reassured her "Besides Bisca is there and she'll keep and eye on her too. You can trust them."

"No, I do." Erza frowned "I just miss her is all."

I kissed her forehead "You wouldn't be a good mother if you didn't miss your daughter."

"Why did we have to take a boat." Natsu gagged.

"How else would we get there?" Gray sighed.

"Teleport or something."

"I can't jump that far." Mest laughed "and certainly not with this many people."

Our traveling group consisted of Natsu and Happy, Wendy and Carla, Me, Erza, Scruff, Gray, Lucy, Michelle and Mest.

"Wendy…help!" Natsu wheezed.

"BLEH!" Wendy coughed over the side.

"It's okay, let it out." Scruff nodded rubbing her back.

"I can't, do it." Wendy frowned "Motion…hurts my tummy too."

"Get up." Gray said dragging the two inside only to somehow come out without his pants on.

"Is it wrong that I think something weird might have happened?" Michelle whispered.

"No, not at all." Lucy shivered.

I turned around and saw Erza looking at the horizon.

"Something wrong babe?"

"Hmm, no."

"Master." Mest walked up to me "Is there a problem?"

"Oh that does have a nice ring to it." I laughed "No I'm good, not gonna lie I'm worried about the old man."

I frowned a bit "Last time we talked all we did was yell at each other, hell I did most of the yelling, I just hope he's alright, now that I know the full story I should apologize, I just hope he's alright, I don't want his last time with me to be something he regrets and I want him to meet Ellie to. Still my Father was after Lumen Histoire so what is the true secret there, Ivan, my father would never had cared enough to just want Mavis body, either he didn't know that's what it really was or there's something more, Dad is too smart to know that it was something more."

"Your Dad is now a point of information?" Erza laughed.

"My father may have been wrong but there's no denying he's a smart and cunning man." I said "he wasn't even a member of the guild but he was able to dig up all sorts of info and know about something even guild members don't know about. Where did he even really learn about Lumen Histoire from?"

If Lumen Histoire really is just Mavis body…what's so important about a petrified corpse?

"How long till we get to Alvarez?" I asked.

"It takes ten days to reach that continent by boat." Mest said "We've still got a ways to go."

"What's wrong?" Lucy asked as I looked out.

"Alvarez is the country my mother was originally from." I told her.

"Hmm…"

"I understand your worried but we can't afford mistakes." Mest explained "We need to make a stop at Caracole Island first as well in order to restock."

"Do we have that kind of time?" Gray wondered.

"Preparations are important." Mest told him "We have to make the time, we're going to meet an informant there, so we'll plan our route then."

Kage's POV

"Are you sure Laxus is around here?" Elfman asked.

"He and his lackeys are sure to be here." Gajeel said "Or at least that's what my info says."

"What about Lauren?" Juvia asked.

"She's too far in the other direction we'll have to swing back and get her later." He said.

"Perhaps they'll get Lucy's letter and come back." Mira suggested.

"Elfman only tagged along to see Ever." Cana laughed.

"This group is too big." I sighed looking around.

"It's fun." Laki smiled.

Our traveling group consisted of myself, Laki, the Strauss siblings, Juvia, Gajeel, Lily and Cana.

"Why does Juvia have to journey with this team." The girl frowned.

"Can't be helped." Lisanna said "Gray and the others had already left."

"I wonder where they were going?" Mira said "Why did we have to split into teams."

"They said it was an infiltration mission, they're better off without us, Kanji said they're chances of winning a fight were 0%." Lily commented.

Everyone got a little silent at that, an opponent so strong even our current Master fears a fight with them.

"There is no guarantee that they'll succeed to begin with." Gajeel added.

"Well if our chances are almost zero then we need to raise our odds." A voice said "That's why we separated into teams."

We turned back around and saw Levy was about ten steps behind.

"How could you guys leave me behind like that." She pouted "I mean you even remembered Laki!"

"That feels offensive." The lavender haired girl sighed.

"Chin up." I nodded.

"We forgot you?" Gajeel smirked "I could have sworn I fit you into my bag."

"Stupid jerk!" she pouted more as she punched Gajeel.

"They're flirting." Juvia pointed out.

"If you're feeling left out I'll flirt with you." Cana said sneaking a squeeze of the water girl.

"S-Stop." she hissed "Let Juvia go."

"The enemy we're fighting this time." Levy said with a serious face "It's not a joke."

Kanji's POV

"I can see the island." Michelle said.

"Whoa!" we all said as we approached and saw the island "Look at the size of that ship."

"It's an Alvarez Empire ship." Mest gulped.

"Why's that here?" Happy asked.

"This place isn't under their rule." Carla added.

"Maybe they came for a vacation?" Scruff wondered.

"They're checking the ports." Mest said looking across the water "What are they looking for."

"They're probably looking for spies." Natsu groaned.

"So what do we do?" Mest asked.

"Simple." I smiled "We find the spy before they do."

Later

"A little disguise goes a long way." I said as we stepped onto the sand.

We were all dressed for a nice tropical location, flowered shirts and bathing suits all around.

"You know for just having had a baby six months ago you look great in that bikini." I whispered to Erza.

"Behave." She blushed "Don't draw attention to us, you too Natsu."

"Yeah, Yeah." he sighed.

"Next." The guard waved us forward.

"We're here on vacation." Lucy smiled.

"I heard the mangos here are delicious." Erza smiled as well.

"I wanna swim." Wendy cheered.

"That mark on your hand." The guard looked at Lucy "are you in a guild."

"Yes." She said "It's a very small guild called Cait Shelter."

Lucky us that Michelle has plants with dye that we could use.

"I've never heard of it." The guard said.

"Well it is a small Ishgar guild." The other guard said "It makes sense that we haven't heard of it. Still they are in a guild so we should be thorough as ordered."

"Excuse me." Lucy and Michelle walked up.

"Can we go through." Michelle asked as her and Lucy gave their breasts a bit of a push to try and flirt their way by.

"G-Go ahead." The guard gulped.

"The ladies win again." Lucy smirked as we passed by.

"Males are so easy." Carla added.

"You and I didn't really do much." Wendy sighed.

"I still think you're cuter in cat form." Happy said.

"With the number of guards here we'll have trouble getting around." Michelle said.

"Natsu behave." Lucy said.

"What did I do?" he complained.

"You never understand infiltration so you need to be warned." Erza told him.

"I know what to do." Natsu shrugged "Be silent, like a ninja."

The little island was packed with people and stands trying to sell stuff to tourists.

"Hey gimme back my daddy."

I looked over and saw a little kid trying to convince a guard to help him.

"Go away." The guard yelled "If you don't wanna shut up I'll make you be quiet.

I watched him pick up a spear, and attempt to attack the kid.

Right in front of all these people…no remorse.

"Okay that's enough." I said flashing behind the one man and kicking him off.

Well the sneaking approach was never gonna work with Natsu here anyway.
