Kanji's POV

I looked at the downed guards, things were about to get busy but that was the price, I wasn't gonna sit there and let them attack an innocent kid.

"Leave this to me." Wendy said ushering the child off.

"Miss Wendy has a super nose so she'll find your Dad in no time." Scruff told him.

"Go Wendy!" Happy cheered.

"Mest go with them." I said.

"But…wow…" he gulped as he looked at Wendy.

"Not like that idiot he means go find the informant!" Lucy snapped "Creeper!"

"You'll keep them occupied then?" he asked.

"That's the plan." Erza nodded.

"Alright, be safe." He said teleporting away.

I stepped up and cracked my knuckles "Thunder Rain!"

I flicked my wrists and poured lightning down on the guards.

"Don't get too crazy okay." Erza warned as Natsu charged into the crowd.

"I think they should cool off!" Gray laughed slamming his hands down and freezing the enemy.

"Let's get 'em!" Lucy nodded taking out her whip.

"Hibiscus Hornet!" Michelle snapped her fingers and flowers popped up around her and peppered the enemy with seed bullets.

"Lightning Dragon's Demolition Fist!"

I pulled back and punched the soldiers, sending hordes of them flying. It didn't take very long to take out the enemies.

"These are the guys the old man was so afraid of?" Gray wondered.

"There are reinforcements on that warship." I pointed out "They'll come in time."

"Why don't we just ask these guys where your Gramps is?" Natsu shrugged.

"It'd be a waste of time." Lucy said "I doubt they know where Master is."

"He's right here." I chuckled "But Lucy is right they won't know."

"Either way we should be ready." Erza said sitting down to have a snack.

"Not the time Hun." I sighed.

"Your actions contradict your words." Michelle added.

"I'd appreciate it if you kids could tone it down a smidge." The owner of the shop Erza was at said.

"Our apologies." Erza pouted.

"Even in this mess you've got a store open?" Gray said "That's a little odd."

"Fights are normal around here." The man said.

"Sounds like a place we know." Lucy said poking me with her elbow.

"Yep."

"Nothing is more important that business, I'm saving my money to get to Ishgar."

"Oh?"

"You all are from there are you not?" he asked.

"We are." I nodded.

"I'm gonna make these Star Mangos the next big thing there." The man smiled.

"May you dream come true." Erza drooled.

"We'll you've got one supporter." I laughed.

"I'm stuck with my shabby hut till then…"

"Hmm?" Michelle's head perked up "Get back!"

She reached over the counter and grabbed the man before the whole shack blew up.

"Someone's here!" I said sliding back.

"Nice catch~" a male voice drawled in an accent from a foreign land.

"Who did that?" Erza glared.

And she's pissed about her dessert again.

"That's quite the face you're making." The man laughed as he walked out of the smoke "Good job~"

The guy was skinny, with upward styled spiky hair, fancy looking suit, he looked calm but something about him seemed menacing.

"My name is Marin Hollow." He said "Pleasure to meet you, I'm part of the Brandish army branch of the Alvarez Empire."

He's not even a big shot and he pulled off a near assassination like that, good thing Michelle trained with the knights to prevent attempts of the Princess and the King, she was able to pick up on him.

"Get out of here." Lucy told the old man.

"Take this." Gray said giving him our money "It won't make up everything but it's something."

"I will exact vengeance for the mangos." Erza growled.

"Uhh?"

"Excellent!" Marin laughed "I'll give you a pass anytime."

"Enough nonsense!" my wife yelled "Requip!"

The air rippled for Erza's transformation but…nothing happened.

"What's wrong Erza?" I asked.

"I can't…change my armor?" she said confused.

"Of course, you can't." the man laughed "The Space in this town is something I control."

"The Space?"

"The Knight it's magic that enables the user to equip anything in an instant, it's spatial manipulation magic, and use of spatial magic against me…that's a failure."

"Gate of the Archer!" "Imitatia!" Lucy and Michelle yelled.

"I just told you Spatial Magics don't work." Marin sighed.

"Damn…" Lucy looked at her key.

"Oh I forgot to mention another thing." Marin perked up "Bad things happen to people who break the rules in my Space."

"My body?!"

"What the hell!"

"My arms are gone!"

I looked over and the girls were all disappearing into nothing.

"Have fun in my private relaxing space." Marin smiled as they poofed away before I could move.

"Erza!"

The air crackled as I looked up at the man with a death glare "You just made a huge mistake."

"Those three did so well…you three though, you all fail, just like this one!"

He snapped his fingers and Mest popped in and slammed into the ground "GAH!"

"Mest!"

"You know he tried to use Spatial Magic in front of me, just who does this piece of shit think he is?!" Marin snapped giving up his calm and cool demeanor "You're all pieces of fucking crap you hear me, this is my magic and no one else's."

I snapped the ground next to him with a bolt of lightning.

"Whoa!"

"You have three seconds to bring my wife back here." I said as lightning poured out of my eyes and gathered around me "If you don't you'll be nothing but a char mark on the ground got it!"

"I don't take orders from you." He huffed.

"1…"

"Thunder Giant!" I summoned the spirit and slammed the ground with its two massive arms, a shockwave rolling over the island "Sorry I lied about the counting to three part!"

I heard a static noise and saw Marin was behind me.

"Figured you could dodge something like that." I smirked.

"I'm a master of spatial magic."

"HRA!" I ducked under his punch and tried to uppercut him only to miss.

"You can't catch me."

"GO!" I clapped my hands and the Giant grabbed him "What was that?!"

I had the giant slam him into the ground.

"I'll ask you again, where is my wife?!"

Marin teleported again and I took the punch before grabbing his head and slamming him down.

"You are nothing to me!" I yelled throwing him and opening my mouth "Lightning Dragon Roar!"

I blasted him with a powerful laser and left him charred on the ground.

"You look pathetic Marin." A female voice said.

What the hell is this feeling…

I looked over at a woman who just walked up, she was tall, curvy, had short lime green hair and two cross ornaments on her head, underneath her coat was what seemed to be just a bikini.

"Oh, Lady Brandish you're here!" Marin gasped.

"Don't look at me." The woman rolled her eyes.

Her magic power it's fricken insane…she…she's at least as strong as me.

"Gray…Natsu." I looked over my shoulder "Take Mest and get out of here now."

"What?"

"You cannot fight her understand me." I gave them a glare "Master's orders, get out of here now."

I charged up the air around me as I stared down the woman.

I don't know how I'm gonna pull this one off.
