Kage's POV

On our trip to find Laxus and his Thunder Legion we opted to stop at an open air bath.

"It might not look it but Gajeel loves baths like this." Lily commented.

"I'm surprised that he was able to find this little hole in the wall!" Cana yelled over the divider that separated us from the girl's bath.

"Shut up." Gajeel mumbled.

"This sure is freaky…" Elfman sighed

"So umm the bath is nice and all but, why is he here?" I pointed at Ichiya.

"Men."

"Why the hell is he here?!" Elfman yelled backing me up.

"This Onsen is in Pegasus Village, it belongs to Blue Pegasus." The short man explained.

"So your guild is nearby?" Lisanna asked.

"That is correct." The only member of Blue Pegasus affirmed.

"I wonder how Jenny's doing?" Mira wondered aloud.

"Why do we really care?" I sighed.

"She is fine, I heard she's become friends with Evergreen." Ichiya commented.

"Huh?" Elfman raised an eyebrow.

"Freed and Bickslow are very popular too, they're all aces of Blue Pegasus."

"Wait what?" The girls all yelled.

"HEY!" Gajeel yelled "That was supposed to be the shocking surprise at the end! You ruined my moment!"

"Wait, Wait, Wait!" Cana yelled "You're telling me Laxus and the Thunder Legion are here?!"

"What a sharp turn of events." Laki hummed.

"This is a…thing." I nodded "Okay, Michelle became a royal guard, Mira stayed a waitress and I became a traveling salesman, I don't see why Laxus can't be a host boy."

"Laxus rarely comes by." Ichiya explained "He's usually out training.

"Stop talking you messing up the surprise!" Gajeel yelled even louder.

"Do you think he thinks that yelling about it will make us forget?" I whispered to Elfman.

"Maybe, a real man demands his voice be heard."

"I should reflect on it!" Ichiya jumped up and landed right in front of Elfman.

"WHOA!" he yelled punching the much shorter hair "Not cool!"

Elfman's punch sent Ichiya flying back into Gajeel who took the momentum and was launched through the divider.

"Uh Oh." I gulped.

He had smashed the wall and flipped a few times before he crashed into Levy.

"How bold."

"This is divine punishment." Juvia laughed.

"It's…something." Cana sighed.

"I'm not moving an inch." I said hearing Levy beating on Gajeel.

"Sounds like a plan." Lily nodded sitting next to me.

"Man~"

Kanji's POV

Who the hell is this woman…I don't know if I can take her, her magic feels so strange?

I charged my body up ready to attack or defend at any moment, Brandish walked forward, her wide hips swaying with each step.

"I want a Star Mango Gelato." She blinked.

"Huh?" I gaffed "You…what?"

"I'm craving a mango." she stopped talking and looked at the ruined shop "Oh…wait you're not a salesmen."

She suddenly teared up a bit "The shop's ruined what happened?!"

"He boomed it up." Marin said pointing at me.

"You threw me under the bus?! Dude this was your fault!" I snapped.

"Aw man…" Brandish let out a powerful sigh "I'm going home."

"L-Lady Brandish these guys were picking fights with the soldiers." Marin complained "There might be more of them looking to speak with spies."

"I don't care." Brandish whimpered "I'm too upset about the mangos."

Here and Erza would get along great.

"Oh and Marin." Brandish stopped walking "Give back those girls you 'Passed', one of them is married you know."

"But they were going to be part of my collection." He whined "You said I could do what I wanted."

When Brandish stopped the sand rippled, I could feel magic powering up, she was angry.

"What now?!" Gray yelled.

"The ground…" I squinted my eyes.

I feel like I'm moving.

I kicked my foot and sent out a Static Resonator.

"No way she…"

This power is insane

"What?" Natsu asked.

"She moved the whole Island!" I said "We moved up!"

"I'm not going to repeat myself!" Brandish glared at Marin "Now!"

"Yes Ma'am!" he saluted and the air rippled before Erza, Lucy and Michelle were dumped to the ground.

"Are you guys okay!" Natsu yelled running up to them.

As happy as I was to see Erza I didn't take a step, I needed to be ready if Brandish pulled something.

"My relaxation area isn't dangerous so there is no need to worry." Marin smiled.

"What a creepy place." Erza mumbled.

"Never again." Michelle shook her head.

"There's someone else." Lucy said looking at Brandish.

It only took a moment but the girls were quick to note her power. Something about this woman was dangerous, but something about her told me to press her right now, maybe it was fear, maybe it was my gut telling me she wasn't as bad as I first thought, I didn't know but I kept defensive incase.

"Lady Brandish our job is to eliminate the spy and their acquaintances, we can't go back empty handed or Master Wall will be angry." Marin pleaded.

"I don't care what Gear Head thinks." She said "Besides Ishgar won't come here, regardless of whether we let these people leave."

As Brandish talked, I made note of something, she was looking at Lucy an awful lot, each time her face seemed to be I thought, as if she was searching for an idea.

"That might be true." Marin said moving the conversation "But it would be bad to go back and say you couldn't find anything."

"Again…it doesn't really concern me." The Green haired woman sighed walking away.

"You're leaving?" I asked looking down at the battered Mest "You're subordinate messed up mine, don't you think you owe me a sign that I can trust you?"

"Very Well." She gave me a nod before she waved Marin over and snapped her fingers, making him disappear "Is that fair."

"She…killed him?!" Lucy gasped.

"In an instant!" Michelle added.

No…I can still feel him, this woman she can…

"We are now even, I will let them know that I took care of the spy, so please do not come any closer to the capital…."

I gritted my teeth "She just played me like a fool."

She stopped and looked at me "Your family is alive."

She looked at me with very serious eyes "If you keep doing these foolishly things you understand what will happen, don't you Master of Fairy Tail?"

How does she know that too?

"I have warned you." Brandish looked at me again "Don't follow me."

She blinked and I felt the earth shifting before I was suddenly dropped into the water. Caracole island was now nothing more than a rock big enough for one person to stand on.

In that instant the land was no more.

I splashed around before I balanced to float in the water, I looked up at Brandish who was looking down at me.

"There are eleven more of my level." She told me "Kanji Dreyer, take your friends home, this is not a fight you can win."

This woman…to shrink the whole Island and a whole man before I could even blink…maybe I should just send the others home, and find Gramps on my own, it might be safer. If I'm having a good day I can maybe take someone of her level on but…I don't want to get people killed. If Laxus were here I'd charge in with our resonating Lacrimas backing us up but on my own, am I really strong enough?
