Ladies and gents, this is the moment you've been waiting for! Jk, sorry! I know I said this was the finale, but it was running a little long, so the finale is actually the next chapter. :P

Alright, so I asked what you guys were hoping for in the ending, and you guys came up with some great stuff. Great stuff that would make the story last another several chapters or didn't follow from what I've already written. So I can't guarantee I'll use all that you guys said, but I still hope it satisfies. I've also started two new Phineas and Ferb fanfics called Robots, Romance, and Rescues, and His Boys. Be sure to check them out! And my other P&F story, Platypus Intervention, has just as many favorites and follows as this one in just two chapters! Wow!

Monkey lover 911- Absolutely! I hope you enjoy the end. Thanks for the review!

SpamcoMan- Because I didn't want to have to write the entire family. I don't have the energy (falls back dramatically on the couch). And if you want another reason within the story, Donald and Scrooge were in a rush? Lol. Thanks for the review!

Guest- If I were to make Louie evil, that would make the story last a bit longer, so I won't. Sorry! But if you enjoy stories with evil Louie, I suggest puppydogs68's stories. They're really good. My favorite one is Enough. Thanks for the review!

puppydogs68- I'll see if I can squeeze some Louie Della bonding. And I'm sorry about all the drama that's been going on with Nobody Listens. I wasn't going to say anything about it and just ignore it, but Jordan asked me to word my thoughts. But I do really love your stories! Thanks for the review!

Khaki Duck- Aww, thank you! Thanks for the review!

LunaWolf44- You better believe Scrooge will be stubborn! Thanks for the review!

Huey paced their cell. "I can't believe he just ditched us!" Dewey said, throwing his hands up in the air. He leaned against the bars. The kids had been moved to another cell down under Glomgold's fortress. It was well lit and the walls were made of solid concrete. You could hear shifting as various traps were activated above them. Webby laid on the floor with her knees bent, tapping her foot on the floor.

Goldie sat with her arms crossed in a cell across from them. She had a frown plastered on her face and her legs crossed. Her foot shook in annoyance. "That Glomgold is a dummy," she grumbled.

"Louie left us!" Dewey went on, ignoring everything else. Huey continued pacing, his breathing quick. The red triplet took in a deep breath, trying to calm himself. It would be alright. This was just like any of their other adventures. It would all work out.

"Dewey, he's going through a lot. He lost all his memories and he thinks Goldie is his mom," Webby said. She blew her bangs out of her face. Goldie smirked at that last comment.

"Besides, maybe he didn't ditch us. Maybe... He went to go get help," Webby said. Huey nodded, trying to convince himself.

"Yeah, if anyone can save us, it's my Sharpie," Goldie put in from across the hall. Webby sat up and shot her a look.

Huey crossed his arms and huffed. "He's not your sharpie, and, in fact, he's not a sharpie anymore because you broke him!" he grumbled.

Dewey glanced between Huey and Goldie. You could cut the tension with a knife. Dewey leaned towards his brother. "Huey, your duke is showing," Dewey whispered. Huey gave him a look, then turned back to Goldie.

"I did not break your brother, whatever that means. Just like anything, I wanted him so I took him," Goldie said with a smirk. Huey glared at her.

"Did it ever occur to you that kidnapping and brainwashing someone is wrong?" he said.

Goldie raised an eyebrow. "Why are you freaking out kiddo?" she asked, reading Huey's expression and body language.

Dewey smiled awkwardly. "It's his oldest brother instincts, don't worry, he's not that upset," he said.

Huey sat on the floor. "Yes, I am!" he put in.

"Nah, Huey's just scared," Dewey said. Goldie leaned back against the wall of her cell, smiling.

Breathing heavily, Louie ran through the halls. Tears rolled down his face and his mind was all over the place. He finally slid to a stop at a corner. He breathed quickly and he looked back to where he had come from. Louie frowned. He left them. He had left them when they needed him. He let them down.

His breathing slowed a bit the more he stood there. Louie wiped his tears with his sleeve. He turned back the other way and continued walking. A few steps, and he felt a panel under his foot sink. The button triggered a trap, opening up a pit of lava underneath him. Louie's eyes widened as he began to fall. "Ahhhhh!" he shouted.

Before he could hit the bubbling, molten lava, someone caught Louie, landing him on firm ground. Louie looked up to see one of the ducks he had met on the mansion. Louie couldn't really remember her name. Della maybe?

Della scanned over him, making sure he was alright. "Louie! That was close! Are you okay!" she said. Louie's beak quivered. Della stopped and looked at him. "Louie?" she said. Louie then nuzzled himself into her chest, holding her tight. Della was surprised for a moment, but then hugged him back.

"Louie, what's wrong? Where are your brothers and Webby?" Della asked. Louie looked up at her and sniffled. Della wiped his tears away.

"Glomgold got them. I could've helped them, but- but I just froze," Louie said, looking down.

Della rubbed his back to ease him. "Louie, it's alright. That's why we're here, to get Goldie out. What's the difference if we have to save three more? As long as Glomgold doesn't put a hand on one of my babies!" she said, her tone escalating.

Louie looked up at her. "Why are you here?" he wondered.

Della bit her beak, remembering. She spoke with hand motions. "Well, Launchpad and Beakly are here too. After Scrooge and Donald left, Donald was screaming like a mad man, so we followed," she said. She let out a chuckle. "And Beakly and LP are here, but they're outside," she added.

Louie tilted his head. "Doing what?"

Outside of Glomgold's base...

Beakly sighed and put a hand on her forehead. "Launchpad," she tried for the millionth time.

"Yeah, Mrs. B?" the pilot asked.

"The entry way is right here!" she said, pointing to the hole the kids had blown in the wall.

Launchpad looked at the hole, then continued walking down the wall, his hand on it. "No way! That looks too easy. Obviously a trap. There has to be a secret entrance here, somewhere," he said.

Beakly face palmed. "The kids obviously made this hole! Why would it be a trap!" she said.

Launchpad gave her a look. "That's exactly what a trap would say," he said. Beakly let out a groan and followed him.

Back inside Glomgold's base...

Della rested a hand on Louie's head. "Louie, it'll be alright. We'll go get your brothers, get your memories back, and then everything will go back to normal," she said.

Louie pulled away from her. "But I don't know if I can handle our family's normal! This is what we do all the time? Go on life threatening dangerous adventures? What if someone got hurt or lost!" he let out.

Della gasped and looked down. "Louie, I know you don't remember this, but I'm going to tell you." She pulled him in closer and he didn't resist. "Before you were born, I wanted to give you the stars. So I went to the moon, but there was a storm so I was stranded on the moon. But after ten years of pushing through moon mites and aliens and just general terrible circumstances, I fought to make it back to you. Because sometimes, we have to do the adventure. And those adventures make us stronger. It's almost a guarantee that not everything will go according to plan. But you have to just roll with it," she said.

Louie thought a minute. His eyes wandered to Della's prosthetic leg. He smiled sadly and stood up.

Song (To the tune of Even Then by Micah Tyler)

Louie:

On the nights when the dark last a little bit longer

When the wind and the storm is a little bit stronger

When the fear in my heart dips a little bit deeper

When my faith to stand gets a little bit weaker

Della:

Who could I run to?

Where could I go?

Louie:

Even when it feels like my world is shaken

Even when I've had all that I can take

Della:

I know

You never let me go

Woah

Louie:

And even when the waters won't stop rising

Even when I'm caught in the dead of a night

Della:

I know

No matter how it ends

You're with me even then

Della took Louie's hand and ruffled his feathers. He smiled, though he was still a bit off. He took a deep breath.

Louie:

When the days up ahead look a little bit brighter

But the grip of the past holds a little bit tighter

I know that I'll never reach perfection

But I know my mistakes will be forgiven

Yeah

Louie took a few steps, unsure of what would happen. He knew it was up to him to save his family and Goldie. He stood up straighter.

Louie:

Even when it feels like my world is shaken

Even when I've had all that I can take

I know

You never let me go

whoa

And even when the waters won't stop rising

Even when I'm caught in the dead of a night

I know

No matter how it ends

You're with me even then

Louie exchanged his look of worry for determination. With his hand in a fist, he pulled it tight to his chest. He spun to face his mother.

Louie:

And even in the middle of a struggle

And even when it's hard to remember

You alone are my defense when

I'm standing with your hand in mine

and I know

That even in the thick of the battle

And even through the valley of the shadows

You alone are my defense when

I'm standing with your hand in mine

Where could I run to?

Where could I go?

Even when it feels like my world is shaken

Even when I've had all that I can take

Della nodded to Louie, making him smile.

Della:

I know

You never let me go

Both:

And even when the waters won't stop rising

Even when I'm caught in the dead of a night

I know

No matter how it ends

You're with me even then

You're with me

yeah

No matter how it ends

You're with me even then

END SONG

"Right. I might not be able to see all the angles like everybody wants me to, but there's no sense in giving up," Louie said with newfound courage. Della smiled and got to her feet.

"I will get through this infernal trap!" Scrooge shouted, his feathers all ruffled.

Donald sat on the other side of the traps, waiting for his uncle. He let out a yawn and leaned against the wall. "I could just go, uncle Scrooge," he offered.

Scrooge glared at him, rolling up his sleeves. He clutched his cane tight and ran for it. Several arrows shot at him, along with lasers, spikes, sharks, bomb, etc. Donald deadpanned at the yelps of his uncle. What part of impossible to get past did he not understand?

Scrooge panted heavily, his clothes all torn up. "I will get pass this if it's the last thing I do!" Scrooge exclaimed.

Donald rolled his eyes. "Probably will be," he said under his breath with a chuckle.

Scrooge heard him and gave him a look. Scrooge stomped his foot. "Donald, why don't you go do something actually purposeful, instead of watching me hurt myself!" he said, his tone escalating.

Donald stood up and nodded. "My pleasure," he said. He walked down the hall, away from Scrooge. He could hear his uncle's stubborn shouts behind him. "Gah! This stupid... gtphftp... trap! I'm so mad I can't even think of an alliteration!" Donald rolled his eyes.

Donald soon found himself all alone and lost. He spun around, seeing several halls to choose from. He bit his beak thinking. "Where is the..." He mumbled. Thankfully, Glomgold's stupidity lit the way. Literally. Above one hallway was a large light up sign. It was ugly neon shades of green and purple. Donald smiled to himself. "Dungeon," he read. He headed that direction, running.

He came to the door at the end of the hall. Opening it, he found a small staircase. Donald looked at it, wondering if it was safe, seeing as this was Glomgold's fortress. Finally, Donald just sucked up his fear and headed down. He could hear Goldie and Huey arguing, which just made him move quicker.

When he reached the bottom of the stairs, he saw two cells across from each other. Huey, Dewey, and Webby were to his left, and Goldie was to his right. Donald's face lit up to see his boys.

"Uncle Donald!" Dewey said, jumping up. Huey stopped arguing to wave to Donald. Donald ran to the bars of their cell. "Are you kids alright!? Are you hurt!? Did that maniac do anything to you!? Where's Louie!? OH MY GOSH IS HE DEAD!" Donald said, eyes wide.

Huey quickly calmed him. "No! He's not dead! He just..."

"Betrayed us," Dewey said, crossing his arms.

Huey shot him a look. Donald raised an eyebrow.

"Are you going to keep talking, or actually get us out of here?" Goldie said, drawing their attention.

Donald stomped up to her. "You. You're the cause of all this!" he squawked, pointing an accusing finger at her. "I knew you were bad news when uncle Scrooge first brought you to our house!"

Goldie put a hand on her heart, blinking dramatically. "Mwa? I thought you liked auntie Goldie?" she said.

The kids behind them all shared confused and disgusted faces.

"No, Della did. And second, yuck! Just give Louie back his memories!" Donald snapped, hands on his hips.

Goldie rolled her eyes. "I'm not giving Louie's memories back, and even if I wanted to, I can't! I don't have the lamp. I can't without it," she said, crossing her arms. Then she paced the cell. "By the way, why are you here? I'm hurt that Scroogie didn't come save me himself," she said, frowning.

Donald tapped his foot. "He would, but he ran into a bit of wish trouble," he said. Goldie raised an eyebrow. "When Glomgold wished for this fortress, he wished for a fortress Scrooge couldn't break into. So now, no matter how hard he tries he can't get in. And we can't wish him in here, because whichever wish was made first takes effect," Donald said.

Goldie crossed her arms and sat down. "Well that's disappointing. No knight in shining armor for this princess," she said with a huff.

From across the hall, Dewey said, "If only there was some sort of wish rule loophole we could use. Bet Louie could find one."

Goldie's face lit up with a lightbulb. She jumped up and stretched her arm out of the cell. "Hey, Don. Give me your phone."

Donald looked at her skeptical. Goldie just held out her hand, waiting. She grew impatient and shot him a look. Donald handed her his phone finally. As she flipped through the contacts, she said, "Louie's not the only one that can find a loophole."

Scrooge balled his hands into fists childishly. His face was red with anger as he glared at the hall. He was being stubborn, but no one was there to call him out on it. He huffed. The hall looked clear now, no traps or anything. To anyone else, they could just walk on by like nothing. But for Scrooge McDuck, he knew the second he took a step, a million traps would activate.

Scrooge's feathers were burned and ruffled, skin was scratched and bruised, and clothes were torn and ragged. Scrooge started to talk to himself. "It's alright. Just take a deep breath in and out," he said through gritted teeth. He took in a deep breath. And instead of breathing out slowly, he immediately began to shout angrily. "Dang stupid GAH!" he screamed, throwing his hat down on the ground.

He felt his phone ring in his pockets and he pushed his hair back. "Hello? Whoever this is, it's a really bad time," he said. You could hear the frustration in his voice.

"Scroogie!" Goldie greeted on the other end.

Scrooge narrowed his eyes. "Goldie! You no good-"

"Quiet Scroogie," she said.

Magic came over him and his mouth shut tight. He rolled his eyes, remembering her wish. "Now, I've got a plan to get through those traps, but you're going to have to listen to me," she went on. Scrooge scrunched up his face upset. He had no choice whether or not to listen to her.

"Scrooge, get to where I am," she said in a clear collected voice.

Scrooge was a bit surprised by what she said. After a moment of silence, Goldie said, "Scrooge, you can talk." Scrooge was able to open his mouth again. "I don't know what you're expecting to happen but-" Scrooge was interrupted by his feet moving on their own. He walked completely past the hall, without any trouble from traps.

Scrooge gasped with a relieved laugh. "Goldie, you genius!" he smiled.

"Tell me something I don't know," she said.

"I feel bad for that one time I tied you to a bear," he said immediately. Scrooge slapped his hand over his mouth.

"Huh. Guess this magic stuff is more powerful than I thought. See you when you get here. Also, aww, you're so sweet!" Then Goldie hung up.

Scrooge rolled his eyes with a smirk. She had certainly found a loophole. Her wish was made first, overriding Glomgold's.

Glomgold was in his living room, which had been lifted up above the fortress in a tower when he made the wish. Looking over the security cameras, he saw Scrooge getting through the hallway, not a single trap activated. The living room had several monitors set up over a desk. There was a revolving chair that was about to collapse under Glomgold's weight. Glomgold crossed his arms. "How is he getting through!" he shouted.

Gene stood behind him, fiddling his thumbs. "Well, I can keep track of wishes, and Goldie used hers to get Scrooge through," he said.

Glomgold shot him a terrifyingly threatening look. "What!? My scheme was flawless!" he exclaimed. Gene shrugged. Glomgold slammed his hand on the table, startling the genie a bit. "Genie! How many wishes do I have left?" Glomgold asked.

Raising a finger, Gene said, "One, master."

"One is all I need."
