Kanji's POV

"Hmm…" the air crackled around me.

I looked at the three men I was blocking the way of, one was mostly bald, he was wearing a suit and constantly cracking his knuckles like he was preparing to choke someone. Next to him was an eccentric looking fellow, hair like a sprouting plant, I knew this guy was the traitor to the Four, God Serena.

The third one was a problem, he may have looked like an old man with a staff, the long grey beard the whole nine yards of old grizzled wizard cosplay…this was August for sure, King of Magic, he was the one to watch out for.

"And so the Master of Fairy Tail makes his appearance." Serena said "Here to surrender already?"

"Wrong." I said "I'm gonna stop you here, or at least stall you long enough for the old guys to beat it, I'm not giving you anything that belongs to my guild."

"Now then." I opened my eyes and let energy leak out "I'm starting with you traitor!"

"Thunder Giant!"

The large glowing figure appeared behind me.

I've heard tales of Serena's power, his magic…let's see if it's true?

"Thunder Giant Fist!"

"Cavern Dragon Earth Wall!"

The glowing fist slammed into the wall, scattering dust into the air.

"So it is true." I said "Thunder Dragon Laser Eyes!"

"Purgatory Dragon Hell Fire!"

I warped to the side and slid to a stop.

"So you are a practitioner of the Hybrid Theory." I said "A man of multiple dragons."

"A fine showing for someone like me." Serena smirked.

"A fine embarrassment that's what you are." I growled "Let's see what stands up, multiple dragons or my Lightning Dragon and Thunder Giant?"

"Neptune Dragon Tidal Rush!"

"Static Shield!"

I held my hands up and bounced the water around me.

"Lightning Dragon Roar!"

"Water Dragon Roar!"

The two attacks clashed and I shot forward.

"Thunder Giant Generator Crush!"

Both fists slammed down and a rain of lightning strikes drilled the field.

"Hurricane Dragon Torrential Wind!"

A whipping wind surrounded Serena and pushed back at my bolts.

"Neptune Dragon's Circle of Water!"

A torrent rose up and knocked me into the air where I was quickly blasted with heat from a Purgatory Dragon blast.

I moved my hand and drew a magic circle.

"Abyss Break!"

I threw out a powerful magic blast but just before it hit…it vanished.

"Hey…" Serena and I glared "Stay out of this old man."

August just blinked.

"Take this!" I held my hands up and the light bended around me "The Hybrid theory is built around multiple Dragon Slayer Magics, but a good wizard always has a back-up strategy, and back up magic." I said charging an attack "Gramps knows dozens and I know more than just bright flashes of lightning. I learned this one a long time ago."

The light from the sunrise bent away from us and the shadows warped.

"Heavenly Body Magic: Altairis!"

I threw out the black ball and Serena braced himself "Cavern Dragon Earth Destruction!"

The ground rose up around Serena and the crumbling boulders dissolved the magic and blasted at me before I used my magic to blast them away.

"Just die!" I yelled charging up only to suddenly fizzle my attack "This magic…it's."

The air around us swirled into a small sandstorm. The air cleared and there was a tan skinned main with wild blue hair standing there, he had tattoos on his arm and face and seemed to be favoring one arm.

"I smell dragons…" the man growled.

That man is…Acnologia? He has a human form?

"Ha…ha…HAHAHA!" Serena laughed "To think, you'd come right to me!"

He's mocking him?

"I came all the way here to-!"

"HA!" I darted to the side by turning my body to lightning energy, I felt a little blood drip off my ear, I was fast and he still clipped me.

I looked up and saw Serena had just been gored by one simple swipe from Acnologia.

Half a second slower and I would have ended up the same as him…

"There are Ten Dragon Slayers Remaining." Acnologia said "Then there will be none left…"

He slowly turned his head to me "Let's knock it down to nine."

I was shaking.

I can't fight this guy I've gotta run.

"Lightning Body!"

I jolted into the air and across the sky.

"Don't run from me." Acnologia came dashing at alarming speed.

I've gotta keep this guy away from everyone else, he's after Dragon Slayers so he'll chase me till I die.
