Lauren's POV

"Haa…" I took a breath and held my leg up before darting forward and striking Dimaria "Sun Dragon Style: Solar Super Kick!"

I tried to hit my mother's face with a kick but she held up a sword and blocked me.

"Missed me." She said from behind me.

"Huh-GAH!" I gasped as my side was cut.

I don't understand, she's not teleporting but she's hitting me without me ever seeing her move at all.

"Hmph." Mom bit down on nothing and once more she was next to me "I don't want to hurt you sweetie but you're making my job very difficult."

"Sunset Flip!"

I picked her up and tossed her back.

"Heel Drop!"

Mom rolled to the side and my downward drop cracked the ground but not her.

"How are you so fast, I don't understand." I hissed charging at her with glowing punches.

"It's something outside of your realm of understanding." She smiled blocking me with her sword "You need to understand, you, any of your friends here, I could kill you all in the blink of an eye."

She can't possibly be faster than light, the only way she'd be able to move faster than my sun rays would be to…impossible.

Mom bit down again and once more appeared behind me, my arm gaining a gash.

"You…froze time." I panted.

"Very resourceful." She smiled "You figured it out, but it won't matter Lauren, our time together is coming to an end quickly. Don't worry I won't kill my own daughter, but once this war is over, I'll bring you and your brothers back to my home, we'll be together again."

"Monster." I hissed glowing brighter.

"That corona won't help you." She bit down.

I felt everything stop, she was walking closer. I couldn't move at all; she was picking up that sword and getting ready to cut off my leg.

"GRR!" I moved my eye and looked at her.

"What?" she gasped as time suddenly resumed

"RAAH!" I pulled my leg up and kicked her in the side.

"How." Mom rubbed her side "This can't be possible."

Everyone around us was still resuming normal speed, I felt sluggish but I could definitely move.

"You didn't take into account who you were fighting." I stood up and got into a fighting pose "This proves we really are related, when I child is born their initial magic power is spawned from that of their parents, a little bit of your magic lives inside your children, once I knew how you were doing what you were doing I was able to fight back. On this battlefield, I'm the only person immune to your time stopping power."

"This isn't a place for you!" she snapped "Get out you damn brat!"

"Not a chance." I held my leg up and caught her back with a light speed kick, twisting to slam her into the ground."

"I gave you a chance to be a good little girl." She glared at me "Now you've made Mommy very angry Lauren!"

The air around Dimaria glowed to a blinding degree and when it cleared her shape had changed, her hair was a bright yellow and orange, her skin black with a golden flowing pattern on her skin, magic was literally pouring off her body.

"Takeover: God's Soul Chronos!"

"What…the hell." I gasped.

"RAAAAH!"

A blast of energy welled up under the ground and blasted me into the air.

"AAAHH!" I yelled as my skin burned.

"The God of time, Chronos, is in your presence." She stepped on my head "Bow to me!"

"AAH!" I yelped "How did you do that?"

"An Ancient God is one with me, the descendant of its vessel." The woman said "Only I may exist in this world, all others die!"

Am I speaking to Dimaria, or the god of time?

A glowing bullet formed on the tip of her finger and she pointed it right at my head.

"Sunset Flip!"

I bent my legs up and wrapped around her waist, flipping her over.

"100 Light Speed Kicks!"

While she was down on the ground, I laid into her with a flurry of attacks. I bounced her off the ground and spun on my hands.

"Do me a favor, and get the hell out of my Mother's body!" I said letting out a light blast that burnt like the sun "Supernova Shot!"

"GAHHH!" the Goddess slammed onto the ground, slowly time was ticking again, I saw people moving, but very slowly.

"I'm not…done yet." She stood up, half the transformation fading off her "Chronos Bullets!"

She held up all ten fingers and blasted shots at me.

"Sun Dragon Roar!"

I opened my mouth and blasted out a laser that disintegrated hers.

"I see, your power in that God form only lasts a short time." I looked at her and moved my hands in a circle "This ends now Mother!"

I dashed in and pushed forward, palming her midsection.

"Sun Dragon Style: Quasar Shotput!"

I let off a blast of energy sent Dimaria flying back and crashing into a building.

"Ha…ha…Gah." She groaned falling forward.

"The child, always surpassed the parent." I stumbled to keep balance.

Shit I used a ton of my magic.

"I don't remember, have we met." A familiar voice asked.

I looked back and gulped "You…"

The wolfman glared at me.

"Long time no see." I smirked "Tempester~"

Now I know I killed this guy…so who is he?
