A/N: Hey guys to those who read my other story 'The Last Battle' I'm sorry. That story will be a little delayed because I'm just not feeling it so much any more. I truly still love the idea but for now I'm taking a break from that story. I thought I would try something else. So here's my new story I hope you enjoy. I don't own Fablehaven. :)

Kendra was swimming in pure blackness. The last thing she remembered was Gavin coming towards her. She must have been knocked unconscious. Who knows what he could have done done to her in that time. She willed herself to open her eyes. The first thing she heard and saw was Raxtus smiling down at her and saying, "There she is I thought you would never wake up." Kendra was only mildly curious at how long she had been out. Her head was pounding now that she had opened her eyes. Raxtus was talking but she wasn't hearing any of it. So she asked, "I'm sorry Raxtus what are you saying."

"I'm saying sorry," Raxtus said in a very disappointed way. "I wasn't able to get there quick in enough to save you."

"What do you mean Raxtus? I'm here with you instead of with him. We have the key. Yes, losing Warren is upsetting but we can get him back with this." She touched the key for effect as she couldn't pick it up it was too heavy.

"No, Kendra when I got there he was on top of you. He was raping you. You were lucky I was there to save you. He most likely would have killed you when he was finished."

Kendra just stared at him in horror. She truly didn't know what to say to that. She had been raped. Now that he said that she felt different not in a good way though. She started crying which made Raxtus sad. She asked him one thing. "Raxtus is he dead?"

He didn't say anything he only nodded.

That reassured Kendra. She felt like a weight had been lifted off her chest. Only barely though.

The rest of her day was spent looking for her friends and getting out of there. Her friends had all made their way to Thronis the sky giant. Somehow that relieved her. They had made friends with the giant so her friends and brother were safe. They were all saddened to hear about Warren but assured her they would get him back.

She hoped it was soon she could really use one of Warrens famous cousin hugs. Seth gave her a hug but it just wasn't the same. She missed Warren with every growing moment. The team had spent that night in Blackwell Keep. Kendra had a hard time sleeping for reasons that were only obvious to her. She still hadn't told anyone what had transpired with Gavin. She told Raxtus not to tell anyone and he agreed. But he urged her to tell them herself soon so she could get the help she needed. She promised she would tell them when she was ready.

They left Wyrmroost pretty early in the morning. Aaron Stone their pilot got a little sidetracked on his way to the meadow but landed pretty well. They were taken to an airport where they climbed on a private plane and Aaron piloted that one too. Once they arrived back in Connecticut she wanted desperately to have her old life back but she knew that was never possible. For one everyone in her home town thought she was dead including her parents. And another thing she was adopted by fairies there was no going back from that.

Grandma Sorenson made them all a special dinner for a successful mission. While eating dinner Kendra had the worst feeling in her stomach. After she ate, which wasn't a lot she excused herself from the table. She was curious about something. She overheard Grandma saying she was going to the store in the morning to grab a few things. Kendra immediately asked if she could come as well. Grandma agreed. In the morning she woke up, grabbed a twenty dollar bill and headed out.

When they got to the store Kendra wondered if she could browse by herself. Grandma was fine with that so Kendra walked over to the medical aisle. She found what she needed and went to self checkout. She paid for her item and put it in her bag. She then went to Grandma and said she wasn't really feeling well and asked if she could wait in the car. She said that was fine and gave her the keys.

Kendra's Grandmother only took another ten minutes and then she was headed home. Kendra walked to the bathroom so as to not raise any suspicion. She took out the test she bought and used it. A few moments later she had the answer she was dreading.

She was pregnant.
