Hey, everyone! Here is the twenty-first chapter to Saint Seiya Omega: Exceed. While arriving in Jordan; Reina begins to tapped into her unchecked mystery as well as questioning her own purpose. This chapter marks the first time in a while where no sequences of fighting are not involved in any capacity. Hope you enjoyed it.
Chapter 21: A Mysterious Past! Origin of Reina!
The small party of the Bronze Saints and their friends has arrived in Jordan.
"So, this is Jordan?" Sachi asked.
The aroma had a nice atmosphere.
"Has a nice bounce to it." Ryuho conceded.
Reina simply glared at the glistening lights.
Raki and Selene began to take full notice upon their friend.
"Hey, hey. Are you alright, Reina?" Raki asked.
Reina felt rather confused.
"I-I don't know." Reina replied.
Reina had a rather somber look into her eyes.
Souma became rather happy once having a glimpse of the scenery.
"Let's explore while we can!" Souma hollered.
Emma simply giggled to Souma's response. Heavily agreeing to the suggestion.
"Come on, Souma. We can't have any sort of fun." Kouga retorted.
Yuna became rather stunned and surprised by Kouga's maturity.
"Look at you, Kouga. Being surprisingly mature. This is actually a new side that I am seeing to you, sweetie." Yuna commented.
Kouga began to slightly blushed from Yuna's comment about being mature than he normally would be.
"I-Is that a good thing, Yuna?" Kouga asked.
Yuna gracefully smiled as she grasp lightly on Kouga's hand.
"Yes. In a rather cute way, that is. You should do that more often, Kouga." Yuna replied.
Aria then warmly smiled at her brother.
"Yuna is right. It really suits you, Kouga." Aria lamented.
Kouga and Yuna immediately smiled at one another.
Much later, Kouga's group were enjoying themselves quite well on Jordan.
Reina felt rather troubled even after all of that.
Afterwards, while Kouga and the others vouched to explore more of Jordan; Reina declined just to stay inside of an abandon parliament hut. Until they can returned.
Then, Reina heard a knock on the chandelier.
It was Raki, Selene and Aria.
"We thought we could give you some company, Reina." Raki suggested.
Raki, Selene and Aria then gave Reina a bit of company.
"Is anything troubling you, Reina?" Raki asked.
Reina became rather quiet.
"Whatever it is, don't be afraid! We're your friends!" Raki grinned.
Reina slightly smiled.
Selene then quickly batched up a tea for Reina.
"Tea?" Selene asked.
Reina gently accepted Selene's tea.
Raki then made a little fire. Courtesy of some driftwood.
Yuna then appeared at a single heartbeat. Alongside Sachi and Emma.
"Yuna! Sachi! Emma!" Raki chirped.
Yuna simply smiled.
"Telling some ghost stories?" Yuna asked.
Sachi then beamed to herself.
"Ghost stories are the best!" Sachi chirped.
Sachi then slapped onto Emma's back.
"A perfect opportunity to get you closer to Souma-san, Emma-chan!" Sachi hollered.
Emma began to slightly blush.
"S-Souma-san absolutely loves them." Emma flustered.
If only this was the mere setting for a ghost story.
"Not exactly a ghost story. More like a story of belonging." Raki admitted.
Yuna immediately realized the dire situation.
"Do you girls mind if we joined you?" Yuna asked, tuning into her usual sense of politeness.
Aria, Raki, Selene and Reina nodded their heads.
"We would be honored to have you with us, Yuna." Aria replied.
Yuna warmly smiled as she, Sachi and Emma joined their friends.
Reina cautiously glared at the blazing fire.
"I don't even know where I came from or where I am supposed to be." Reina admitted.
Reina felt sad.
"It reminds me of the run-in we had with those creeps, the Shaaytans." Reina explained.
Yuna became rather surprised that she didn't know that her friends had to square off against the Shaaytans.
"When did this happen?" Yuna asked.
Sachi simply scratched her hair.
"A little while after you went to searched for Kouga-san, Yuna-san." Sachi replied.
Raki and Selene then realized the situation that Reina had been facing earlier on.
"Is that what was bothering you this entire time, Reina?" Selene asked.
Reina gently nodded her head in response.
"I think I was supposed to oppose them." Reina explained.
The girls became rather surprised at Reina's fact.
"B-But that's crazy talk. No way should that be true." Sachi commented.
Reina remained sad.
"I don't know who I am. I-I'm afraid." Reina stated.
Yuna, Aria, Sachi, Emma, Raki and Selene became rather concerned for Reina.
Aria then placed her hand onto Reina's shoulder.
"I know what is like to feel lost and uncertain. I didn't know what I deserved to be place in this world or having a purpose. Or having a true sense of freedom to be honest. But, after meeting my brother after so many years apart as well as gaining so many wonderful friends such as Eden and Yuna; I finally found my true purpose. Protecting life and harmony on Earth." Aria confined.
Yuna then warmly smiled at Aria. Getting a little tear in her eyes.
"I hate fighting and violence. I want to protect Earth with love and peace all around. " Aria conceded.
Yuna, Sachi, Emma, Raki and Selene all smiled at Aria.
"Aria. That was really wonderful. I wished for that as well." Yuna commented.
Aria then deeply blushed.
"Aria-oneesan always looks out for others in need. That's probably her best trait." Sachi stated.
Aria then blushed in embarrassment.
"W-Was that bad of me to say?" Aria asked.
Yuna then shake her head.
Yuna immediately placed her hand onto Aria's shoulder.
"No. Those were words of inspiration, Aria. Wonderful words from the heart." Yuna replied.
Aria returned Yuna's words with kindness.
"Thank you, Yuna. Thank you truly." Aria flustered.
Aria resumed focus onto Reina.
"I believed in Earth and its humanity. It's entirely up to you on what holds for you, Reina." Aria reassured, smiling.
Reina slightly smiled as she remained shaken.
"Like a weapon?" Reina asked.
Raki and Selene immediately disagreed as they let out their opinions.
"Whether you're something to be made as a pawn of a greater fate; the friendship that we had created together is real. Nothing will change on how we feel about you, Reina." Selene reassured.
Selene then clasped her hands onto Reina's.
"I think that statement is mild speculation. All we know for sure is that Reina is Reina. Our precious best friend. Forge your own destiny that is made out of joy, Reina." Raki declared.
Raki gave Reina a little wink of reassurance.
Reina was filled with stargazing eyes.
"Raki-chan. Selene-chan." Reina commented
Raki and Selene then extended their hands toward Reina.
"Kid trio for life?" Raki and Selene asked in unison.
Reina simply smiled gracefully.
"Kid trio for life!" Reina hollered.
Raki, Selene and Reina immediately high-five as the three younger girls began to laughed afterwards.
Yuna, Aria, Sachi and Emma became rather happy for their younger friends.
Reina then smiled at Aria.
"Someday, I want to be as kind and sincere as you are, Aria-oneechan." Reina commented.
Aria began to heavily blush as she gracefully smiled at Reina.
"I'm very glad to hear you say that, Reina. Really." Aria commented, smiling.
Reina gracefully smiled at Aria.
Sachi then had a thought in mind.
"I think I just had the right idea for you, Emma-chan." Sachi stated.
Emma began to slightly blush.
"Y-you do, Sachi-san?" Emma asked.
Sachi then nodded her head.
"About your situation with Souma-san. That way, you'll have one over Sonia-san." Sachi replied.
Emma immediately like the sound of that.
Sachi and Emma began to head out, preparing to engage the new phase in boosting Emma's confidence around Souma.
Raki, Selene and Reina decided to help out as well. Now that their future as friends remains strong.
Yuna remained with Aria.
"You've really taken Saori-san's words to heart, Aria." Yuna commented.
Aria began to blush.
"I-I have?" Aria asked.
Yuna then placed her hand onto Aria's shoulder.
"Both Saori-san and Kouga would be very proud of you, Aria. Just like I am." Yuna replied.
Aria simply just smiled at Yuna.
"I'm really glad that you've felt that way, Yuna. Thank you." Aria said, smiling.
Yuna gracefully smiled at her treasured friend.
Aria then placed her hand onto her chest, with a smile on her face.
"Saori-san. I hope that I'm using your teachings to great use." Aria thought.
While Yuna and Aria were having some quality time together; Wadd was having a little dilemma of his own.
His dilemma involves Kouga.
Wadd feels rather conflicted on what he should do now.
