Lackadaisical Reaper Days

Sometimes the simple things
are all that really matter.
That afternoon nap, or the
smell of ramen that
someone else is paying
for, or unwrapping that
fresh new lollipop to replace
the one you just finished.
And it is the days where
all of these things occur
that nothing can beat.
I actually like Koki a lot. Enough that he's in my top three favorite TWEWY characters.

So I guess I just tried to tap into Koki and make the poem "Koki"...so it has this short, hopefully lazy feel to it. At least that's what I was going for, so I'd love any feedback.
A day-early update since I need to dog sit the rest of the week and won't be able to get online tomorrow.
I've been pretty busy with trying to adjust back to life after my Europe trip. The first step is getting a job, so hopefully that will go well. I don't intend to lose any writing time, though.
I don't have any of the notes I usually have on me, so I really don't know when the next update will be or who it will be about. Hopefully I'll be able to get all my shit together by next week, so I guess keep an eye on my blog or profile for that sort of thing.
Regardless I hope that you'll look forward to the next update when it comes!
