Chapter 2
"Hey sis," The red head walked through the door and smiled at her sister.
"Alex you probably should knock or ring the doorbell before you walk into our apartment... You know after last time." Kara started to rub her neck, looking everywhere apart from her sister's face.
"Oh yes, how could I ever forget what happened last time. You and Lena right in the middle of f-"
"STOP! Alex, my daughter has super hearing if you forgot, so maybe be careful about what you say around here." Alex laughed glancing around the room to look for her niece.
"Auntie Alex?" Laura ran into the room and hugged her aunt.
"Kitten, how you doin?" Alex kissed the girl on the head and pushed her back to take a good look at her. "How old are you now?" Alex asked.
"I'm 11 why?" She girl looked down at herself.
"Your just tall for 11, though you do have my sister's genes. Though to add on to that, Lena is tiny so maybe you will stop growing now." Alex laughed as she said the last part. "Hey I heard that!" Lena walked in and kissed her sister-in-law on the cheek. "I'm not that tiny... Am I?" The CEO looked at her wife for support, but instead she found that Kara's face had turned bright red and she had shuffled away. "Anyway, before those two get into a giant argument," the agent said glaring at the couple, "Kara wanted me to just give you a normal check-up after yesterday. Is that ok Laura?"
"I guess." Laura sighed nervously. As Alex and Laura walked to the other room the couple huddled together in the kitchen. "You know," Kara said sweetly, "you may be tiny but you're incredibly beautiful." Lena's eyes lit up as her wife said this. "Thank you! And you're not so bad yourself." Lena kissed her wife and turned to the oven. "Now I'm going to start on dinner. Any preferences?" Lena asked.
"Just please don't burn the kitchen down." Lena laughed as her wife finished her sentence but as she looked at the blond, she could tell Kara was being serious.
Lena hurried around the kitchen getting everything ready for the meal. "Ow!" Kara looked up from the article she was reading to see her wife had cut her finger while chopping some of the vegetables. Laura came out of the bedroom her face full of worry. "Mama are you ok?" As soon as the girl saw her mother's hand bleeding, her heat vision started to flare up and burn things around the room. "Mum!" The girl cried, not knowing what she was doing. Supergirl leapt in front of Lena just in time to block her wife from their daughter's ability. "Laura hey it's ok!" The hero super sped over to her daughter, tightly holding her in her arms so that the heat vision was only aimed at herself. Thank Rao for my powers otherwise I would be melted on the floor! "Alex a little help!" The superhero called. "I think she is having another panic attack!" The agent jumped out of the bedroom to see the room in absolute chaos. "My powers won't stop! I don't know what to do!" Laura's voice came out muffled under her mother's tight hold. "Get her to the DEO Kara!" Alex yelled searching for a fire extinguisher for the burning couch. "NOW!"
