Chapter 2
Grasspaw sneaked out at night to see Icepaw.
"Want to hunt? We can bring some fresh kill to our clan, so we won't be punished.", Said Icepaw.
"Yes.", Said Grasspaw.
Later, they had enough fresh kill and took most of it back. Grasspaw put her fresh kill on the fresh kill pile.
"Grasspaw, time for you to start your training.", Said Chestar.
"Ok.", Said Grasspaw.
"Roseheart will be your mentor.", Said Chestar. Roseheart was a she-roserade.
When Grasspaw found Roseheart, she was hunting.
"Oh, hello. I heard I was your mentor?" Said Roseheart.
"Um, yes.", Said Grasspaw.
"Let's pratice battling today.", Said Roseheart. Grasspaw used Razor Leaf. Quickly, Roseheart dodged.
"Not fast enough, but good for a beginner.", Said Roseheart.
"I'll show you I'm as good as a warrior!" Said Grasspaw. Grasspaw used Razor Leaf over and over. Roseheart kept on dodging, but at one point, it hit her.
"Impressive!" Said Roseheart. "I'll teach you some moves sometime, that was enough training for today.".
That night, Grasspaw woke up and went to the IceClan and GrassClan border.
"Oh, hello, I wasn't expecting to see you this early.", Said Icepaw.
"Me too.", Said Grasspaw.
"Well, what do you want to do?" Said Icepaw.
"Let's pratice battling, I need to get better.", Said Grasspaw. Icepaw used Ice Beam. Grasspaw quickly dodged. Grasspaw used Razor Leaf. It hit Icepaw.
"That's enough battling, let's do something else.", Said Icepaw.
"How good has your training been so far?" Said Grasspaw.
"Its been going good.", Said Icepaw."How about yours?".
"Good! Roseheart even is impressed, she thinks I'm as good as a warrior.", Said Grasspaw.
"If I was in GrassClan, I'd probably never be able to impress Roseheart.", Said Icepaw.
"You don't even know who Roseheart is.", Said Grasspaw.
"Nineclaw, my mentor, is coming, go back to camp!" Said Icepaw.
Grasspaw hid in the bushes.
"I smell a GrassClan apprentince. I'm telling Glacestar this!" Said Nineclaw.
"No, they were going to attack me while I was hunting.", Said Icepaw.
"Come back to camp.", Said Nineclaw.
Grasspaw watched Icepaw and Nineclaw disappear, then walked back to camp.
