Chapter 5
It's been a month since we got the secret shopper shell company going and things are going great. We're washing three times the money we were before and that's great. Carlos comes into my office and says "We have a problem Princess." I look up and wait on him to explain. By now, everyone that works for us know that Rio and I are together and if he's not here, they are to report to me. "What's up?" I ask. "Rio's been arrested." he tells me and I look at him shocked. "What happened?" he asks. "Those three bitches robbed the Fine and Frugal again and left an envelope for the Feds pointing them to Rio." he tells me. "Bond been set?" I ask. "Yeah. $100,000." he tells me. I go to the safe and take the cash out and hand it to Carlos. "Bring him straight to the house." I tell him. I look at Eddie and say "Send Bruno with him. Can you take me home?" I ask and he nods. Pulling out his phone he calls Bruno to go with Carlos to get Rio.
Standing in the kitchen, drinking a cup of coffee with Eddie sitting at the island when the door opens. In walks Carlos, Bruno and Rio. As soon as Rio walks in, I run to him and crash my lips with his. When we separate he says "I'm okay Princess." he says before kissing me one more time. When we separate, he says "Those suburban bitches…" he starts and I cut him off. "No. One suburban bitch." I say. "We need to handle her." Rio says. "Don't stress about it baby." I say and they all look at me shocked. "What? She had me locked up." he says. "I know. Look, sit down and let me explain. All of you." I say and Rio is still pacing the floor, pissed. I step in front of him and say "I'm your Queen right?" I ask and he stops and puts his hands on my hips and my hands to his chest. "Trust me?" I ask and he nods. Kissing him softly, I say "Sit down. I have to tell you something." I tell him and he heads to the table.
Once all the guys were sitting down, I say "You remember when I met with the attorney about setting up the shell company for the shopping shit?" I ask and they all nod. "Well, I included a little insurance policy." I say and they look at me confused. "Anytime a company is started, even a shell, they have to have a name listed as the proprietor, someone to sign off on things." I say and Rio and Eddie start smirking. "Just who's name did you list Princess?" Rio asks. "Oh, a Mrs Elizabeth Boland." I tell them and the three of us start laughing. "Wait. I'm confused. Your signature won't match hers." Bruno says. "Brother, my beautiful Queen here, is the master of forging signatures." Rio says before kissing me softly. "I fucking love you Bonnie." he says and I start laughing. "I love you too Clyde." I tell him. They look at us confused again and I say "Inside joke." Bruno looks at me and asks "How did you get her signature?" I turn in Rio's arms and he keeps his arms around my waist. "You guys remember when we first went to her house to collect and you guys were talking to them about what was going to happen and when we would be back to collect?" I ask and they nod. "While you guys were talking to them, I was snooping around and found a couple of things with her signature and took them." I tell them and they smile. "We still need to have a little talk with them before anything comes out." I tell them and I look at Rio and say "I do the talking." and he nods.
The next day, we are sitting in Beth's kitchen with Ruby and Annie with her. Rio is sitting on the counter and I am standing between his legs. "What can we do for you?" Beth asks with confidence. "We just wanted to tell you that the secret shopper business is closed for business." I tell her. "What? Why?" she asks. I stand up straight and out of Rio's arms and he laces his fingers together and leans forward to listen to me. I look at Ruby and Annie and say "You two? I got no issues with you two. I get why you were doing it. You both were about to lose a child, one way or another. You're good moms. You did it for family. Can't fault you for that." I say to them and they seem to relax a little. "But you." I say, looking at Beth. "I see how you look at my man. My King." I tell her and she smirks. "Feeling a little insecure?" she asks. "Not at all. You see, a true boss bitch lives by certain rules. Rules that keep her in play. You see, you don't get the title of Queen, especially his Queen, without learning a few things. But let me educate you a little bit. Rule number one of being a Boss Bitch? Never fuck with another bitches King." I say and I feel Rio's arms wrap around my waist from behind with him kissing the top of my head. "Rule number two? If you're going to go against the Boss Bitch, never go against the bitch that wrote the rules." I tell her and her smirk falls. "Now, business is shut down until further notice." I tell her. I look at Ruby and Annie and say "You two ladies need anything, you know how to find me." I say before turning and heading towards the door. "You need me." Beth says, sounding desperate. I turn and let go of Rio's hand and tell her "Oh honey. We don't need you but you might want to remember, you can't be a boss bitch when you sound desperate." I turn and walk out the door.
Pulling up to the warehouse, we head to my office just me and Rio. As soon as the door is closed, he locks it and then pins me to the door. Crashing his lips with mine and when we separate, he whispers against my lips "Marry me Bonnie." I start laughing and say "Absolutely Clyde." before he crashes his lips with mine again and picks me up. He carries me to the couch and lays me down before claiming me right there in my office. When we both reach our release, we redress and he walks over to his jacket and reaches into the pocket before pulling out a little velvet bag. "Rio?" I ask. He takes the ring out of the bag and slips it on my left ring finger. Kissing me softly he says "I want you to be my wife." I kiss him softly and say "I want that too baby. I really do." I tell him and we spend the next little bit, talking about what we want to do while waiting on my insurance policy to fulfill its duty.
