Yzma wasn't happy. Dizzy bowed deeply and offered her sincerest apologies, but she knew it wouldn't be enough. Acts often spoke louder than words, so she decided to behave like an honor student. Not that it did her any good. People had somehow found out about her legacy and gave her worried glances and hushed whispers. She put the conversation to the back of her mind and headed to the rooftop. Hadie, Celia and Ginny was waiting for her .
"Hey there. Sorry for calling you like this all of a sudden."
"I don't mind."
Celia sighed.
"I bet you told Yzma about the keyblade and Hans?"
"Nope." Dizzy shrugged. "The Keyblade is my responsibility and Hans is my father and ill will deal with them."
Ginny was speechless.
"You… You ?"
"You wont be doing it alone" Hadie said
Celia hesitated. For a moment, "Yeah, i may have friends on the other side, but i have my friends right here in front of me"
Dizzy sighed and leaned against a table. Hadie was surprised by how venomous his friend's tone was.
"Got hit by it too, huh? I know what it's like. We're the same, you and I. We're outcasts. I dunno. You can't be that bad a girl."
"Im not" Dizzy blurted. " My mom tried to help her and She was the one who was put on trial! There's no justice in this world."
She explained, Hadie was utterly livid at the situation. Celia and Ginny felt just the same.
"They will pay! They will all pay! If there is no justice in this world, then we will make our own! We will be the voice of the voiceless!" Ginny said.
"Don't I know about it." Hadie sighed. "Hans was just the start im sure youve he wont be defeated so easilt!"
Dizzy smiled sadly. Indeed, she and the others had something in common. It saddened her that it was how they had ended as outcasts.
They went home, As Dizzy headed to her room, she heard Gaston answer his phone. It became obvious the person at the other end was one he cared for. The teen couldn't help it. She went down.
"Gaston, if the person you're talking to were to be unfairly accused, how would you react?"
"There's nothing you can do about it, kid. Better make peace with that." Gaston replied sadly.
There were rumors going about Dizzy having a weapon Hans wanted. However, if the discussion was anything to go by, those rumors were completely unfounded. Dizzy wasn't remotely interested in seeing her father, and was in fact trying to avoid him by using various excuses. Hans seemed somewhat aware of it because her distant attitude irritated him. And why did it irritate him? The Ex prince seemed rather eager to spend time with his daughter.
Dizzy walked to the exit. Something was off with the prince. She had no idea why, but her instinct told her the answer was in the mysterious castle.
The group had barely snuck into the castle that screams of pain echoed. Hadie jumped.
"What the hell was that!?"
"Probably the slaves. It's like this every day."
"…Right, we saw some people in the cells."
Celia nearly freaked out when they crossed the entrance hall. They went to the dungeons, ambushing enemies and beating up downed foes. When they found the cells, they were dismayed to see them empty.
"Hmm, they might have been transferred already." Ginny thought. "Hey, wait, footsteps? This way!"
She took them to a nearby room. For some reason, Dizzy felt the air as less oppressive than the rest of the castle. Overhearing Guards allowed them to determine the slaves had been taken to the training hall. Guards were hitting slaves with the butt of their spear, slaves forced to run for water while avoiding being crushed by the spiked steamroller, others bound upside-down as a cannon fired cannonballs in their stomach… All of them were moaning in pain and begging for mercy. And none wanted to leave, out of fear of making their condition worse.
Hadie looked sick. Ginny put a hand on his back.
Hadie balled his fists.
"Hans gotta be stopped. We have to defeat the bastard!"
"We have to hurry before they find us! The number of guards is increasing as we speak!"
They were too late. By the time they reached the entrance hall, Hans was waiting for them with his best men.
"I see you knaves have returned. Do you want to die so badly?"
"No." Hadie growled. "You're the one going down!"
Hans laughed.
"It is true, what they say: barking dogs seldom bite."
"Shut up!"
"I will soon be king of e isle while you're nothing but scum. Guards, kill them. My castle has suffered their presence for too long."
Then the golden guard shed its armor, revealing itself to be an armored spear-wielding knight. The first swing sent Dizzy and Celia flying. The second knocked Ginny down.
"King Hans wants you dead, and die you shall!"
Dizzy gasped. Before she could stand, Hans grabbed her by the collar and smashed her on the ground. The teen yelped in pain. Ginny tried to move but was pinned by a Shadow. Celia herself rushed at Hans, only for her kick to be blocked before being backstabbed by the knight.
"They are too strong." dizzy realized. "Hadie, run!"
"What? No, I'm not leaving you guys!"
"Run." Dizzy insisted. "Save yourself."
Hadie was torn. On one hand, he knew his friend had a point. On the other, Dizzy, Celia and Ginny were his only friends. To leave them behind made him feel bitter and ashamed. Hans laughed.
"Yes, run while you still can, you worthless piece of trash! Not that you can every live up to your dad."
Hadie snarled. Hans gazed down on him.
"You are so pathetic. An eyesore, just like your team. I am the king of the isle of the lost! The only one who deserves acknowledgement is me!. You are nothing but trash to me."
The words made Hadie froze.
"It… was all your doing? You planned everything!?"
"Yes. Or do I need to use simpler terms?"
Dizzy glared at Hans, Ginny fired magic blast at Hans face. Hans shrugged it off.
"Will you stay quiet!? I'll deal with you soon enough."
He grabbed Ginny and slammed her against the ground once more, then planting his foot firmly in Dizzy's stomach. Dizzy whimpered in pain. Hadie watched, gaze hazy.
"This was your fault. From the very start, it was all your fault. You took… everything I had… and my friends. I lost everything because of you."
"And? How's that supposed to matter?"
Hadie saw red.
"You motherfucking son of a bitch! You took everything from me! Now, I'm the one who'll take everything from you, asshole!"
Pain shot through him.
Blue flames erupted from Hadie
The blue haired teen's grin was feral.
"Payback time, asshole. You ready?"
Celia chuckled darkly.
"Oh yeah… Blast 'em away! Let us fuck his day, and all the others to come!"
Hadie didn't need to be told twice. Blasts of lightning shot from the son of Hades hands. The knight rushed at him, spear high. Hadie blocked the blow, The knight backed away, blinded. Then his legs gave under him courtesy of a well-aimed pipe to the knees courtesy of Celia. Hadie's lightning blast finished it off.
And yet, despite the display of power, Hans didn't seem that worried.
"Idiots. This is my castle. Everything within happens as I decide."
"Then enjoy it while you can." Dizzy frowned as she tried to rise. "We will bring you down, father, one way or the other. You're a monster."
"Monster? No. I am the king."
"Let's get outta here before I really want to puke." Hadie rumbled.
No one argued.
