"...It can't be...

...this very location...

..it's Ahtohallan, right?"...

Elsa's POV

"This can't be happening right now. This is just plainly impossible. How come that bird is taking me to Ahtohallan? There must be some sort of mistake. It has to be.", I thought deeply to myself.

We're nearly at sundown and I can perfectly hear the rich sound of waves crashing down as it hits the rocks and ridges in the sea. I'm still following my only chance to save everyone from the perilous state we are facing. I'm desperate to find the prince of Aether to ask for his help. Although I'm not entirely sure if he still real nor alive. But I have a strong feeling that he exist.

My magic can feel it. It also senses a sort of familiarity. Its like I'm drawn towards it for a reason I don't know but I'm gonna find out.

Ahtohallan is now in plain sight, we're getting nearer by each passing moment. The white bird with red highlights still in the air flying and guiding us towards the familiar place.

On the other hand, I feel bad for leaving Honeymaren back there. She will surely understand me. I was desperate and in a hurry so that I won't miss the bird and escape my sight.

"I'm gonna apologize to her when I get back.", I said to myself. Making a small sigh afterwards.

While still riding Nokk above the deep sea waters. I wondered how the bird broke my ice when I tried to capture it. I kept thinking of a bunch of reasons. I know its supposed to be a magical and immortal creature but I wasn't expecting it to break free from my grasp so easily.

"How come the bird was able to do that? Is it because it possess some sort of magic of its own? It must have. I mean its a bird that has lived for almost forever. Who knows what kind of magic does it have.", I thought to myself.

I immediately washed those thoughts away. I must focus on my current task right now and that is finding the prince of Aether. Thinking about it, I only know a little about him from the information I got from Pabbie. The only thing I know about him is that he's a prince who stopped the demon of the Apocalypse.

From that note, I think he's a great guy. Sacrificing himself to save everyone, that is definitely not an easy feat to accomplish. I doubt anyone would be able to do that, even me. What he had done goes way beyond the qualities of being a prince. A true savior would best fit his title and not some stupid prince that I know from the Southern Isles.

"Ugh, just by thinking about him really makes me wanna freeze him right there and then." I frankly said and holding the reins tightly.

I just feel bad for Anna. I was supposed to help her prepare for her wedding. It seems like we have to postpone the marriage until we get rid of the demon and no more upcoming threats heading our way. We're gonna get past this. This is just a little hurdle. Everything will work out, I'm sure of it.

I didn't notice that we have arrived in Ahtohallan. It seems like I was so distracted with my thoughts. We have arrived at the shoreline and I rode off Nokk and the water spirit immediately dissipated into the waters as I casted off my magic.

"Thank you, Nokk. Have some rest.", I said to the water spirit.

I was walking on the shoreline looking for clues and hints on what I'm doing here. The place still looks similar to me. Glaciers everywhere proving that I'm in fact in the frozen river of memories. However, the place gives a different kind of vibe to me. I can't really place my feeling about this. There's no sort of any entrance towards the ice wall.

"Judging by the place, I think I'm on the other side of Ahtohallan. I've never been here before. Where am I supposed to go now?", I asked the bird resting on top of the rocks, its just staring at me.

"What am I supposed to do now? You just took me back to Ahtohallan, for what?", I continued.

"Nothing? Just nothing? Phew.", I was just met by a bird cleaning his own feathers and adjusting its wings.

I ignored the bird and kept scanning the area. I approached nearer to the glaciers and still got nothing. No entrance or whatsoever.

The bird flew above me and sat down on my blonde hair. "What are you doing?", I sigh at the action of the feathery animal, I just resigned and just let him be...or her be.

I walked to the sides of the glaciers and I can't find any entrance. The fatigue is getting to me and I'm quite exhausted from all the chasing I've done. I was about to get some rest by a nearby rock and then...

"Owww-, stop pecking me.", I said to the bird but didn't stop. My hair was now a mess as I stop it from pecking me further. It still didn't stop and I kept backing up with my feet. I felt the wall of ice on my back.

"Stop it, already.", I ordered the bird and thankfully it stopped.

It just sat down on my on top of my head. I was fixing up my hair and faced the wall of ice so that I can see my own reflection. When I saw my reflection on the wall, I noticed some strange markings. The wall has some cracks on it, and where the cracks end in the middle is a crest of some sort. It has a sharp pointy edge and a wing on the right side. The crest looks like a sword figure from the angle I'm looking at.

"What is it? I don't know this symbols. A sword with a half wing enveloping it? Well, if you look at it closely, it kinda looks like one. Do you know something about this?", I briefly pondered, looked above my eyes and I asked the white bird sitting down on top of my head.

I touched the markings with my fingertips. I am intrigued and interested in these symbols.

"Pour your magic." I heard someone say.

"Who was that?...was that you?", I immediately said and asked the bird, looking at him directly. All I got was a dead silence from the creature on my head.

"I'll take that as a no. Then, who is the owner of that voice? Who was calling me?", I asked again where no one could really hear me. It was pointless, I was the only one here.

"Pour your magic.", I heard it again.

"Who are you?", I replied to nowhere.

I'm really good at hearing strange voices. This is not the first time I can hear someone. I'm not crazy either. I just happen to be able to hear them. The first time was when the Enchanted forest was calling me and when I answered it, we were forced out of our kingdom.

"Pour your magic."

I heard the voice say again. I touched the crest on the wall of ice and prepared myself for the repercussions that will happen as I did what the voice told me to do so. Answering the call from the enchanted forest chased us away from our kingdom, I wonder what this one will do.

"Well, here goes.", I said and closed my eyes as I channeled my magic to the crest. My hands were emitting mists of ice. The cracks on the ice shined a blueish light as I did what the voice told me. I hesitated in opening my eyes slightly and gently opened them. The entire wall, the glaciers shine brightly.

"Its very bright and beautiful at the same time." I was captivated by the spectacular phenomenon that was happening in front of my very own eyes. All the exhaustion and tiredness I was feeling was immediately washed off by the sight I was seeing.

"I wished Anna could see this too."

The bright light slowly faded and went out just like a candle losing its source of light. For a moment, nothing was going on except for the amazing show I just witnessed.

"Now, wha-", I was cut off by the sudden movement of the earth. I almost stumbled to the ground but thankfully regained my balance. The wall of ice split into two, a path is being created in the glaciers. The movement of the ground stopped as the splitting of the glaciers came into a halt.

"I really hope this is it. May the spirits guide me." , I slowly approached the path. I'm getting scared by the moment as I walk through it but feel kinda excited at the same time. A new adventure awaits me in this path.

Kingdom of Arendelle.

The state of the kingdom is already calm and peace. The citizens were starting to be lively again despite the current situation they are in. Its been almost half a day since the fifth spirit left the kingdom to search for answers.

The reigning Queen of Arendelle really lives up to her name. Anna is doing a great job at being queen for her people despite the fact that she was only crowned as Queen a few months ago. She is as great as her sister when she was queen.

"I'm glad that we still have these moments.", Anna said while standing on the balcony and Kristoff just listening to her staring down at the people of the town.

"Even though we're in a pinch right now, a demon trying to destroy our world. I'm still happy right now that we're together. I know we'll get past this. Elsa is gonna find him. I'm sure of it.", she continued.

"Yeah, she's your sister after all. You both don't easily give up. You are so stubborn in that area." Kristoff replied making Anna smile a little.

"I believe thats one of my selling points.", she replied while linking her hands to him in a cute manner.

As the couple continues to gaze their eyes to the townspeople, dark clouds are starting to form in the skies. Its covering the sun as time passes as if indicating a very bad omen. The people noticed the abrupt change in the weather. However, they are not aware thats its not just any weather as the dark clouds continues to accumulate in the skies. Those are not ordinary clouds, they get darker by the second, its becoming pitch-black.

"Whats happening?", a citizen said to the others present in the center of the town.

"What are those dark clouds?"

"This is bad. Really bad."

Panic arose among in the people of the town.

"I don't feel comfortable with those skies. Those clouds give a similar vibe like last night with the demon.", Anna said with a voice full of worry.

A little later, dark spots started to fall from the dark skies. The dark spot looks like freshly fallen snow but it's pitch black, it gives a dangerous feeling to everyone in Arendelle.

Anna was watching what was happening in the kingdom. She saw a small dark spot in front of her and extended her hand to reach for it but was immediately stop.

"No!, don't touch it.", Kristoff said grabbing her hand stopping her from what she was supposed to do, as they hold their breath and watched the spot dropped.

The dark spot landed on a leaf of a plant and gradually the leaf decomposed and the plant died turning it into decay materials. Gasped of fear and shock escaped from the couple's mouth.

"The plant died?... It died?", Anna was lost as she keeps replaying the scene in her head.

"Everyone is in danger, we have to warn them.", Kristoff said immediately upon the realization.

Anna hurriedly took action and was going to the center of the town to warn her people.

"Anna stop, I'll do it.", Kristoff said to the Queen. Anna was hesitant to let Kristoff leave. She is that type of person who would sacrifice herself for whom she loves.

Kristoff hurriedly took a nearby cloak and wore it. The cloak covered almost entirely his body and he wore a mask to cover his face preventing the dark spots from landing on him.

"Sven, come here. Take me to the townspeople.", he said to his deer best friend. The horned deer came to his friend's aid.

"No, Kristoff. Don't leave. You just saw what happened back there. If those things touched you, you'll die.", Anna said worriedly.

"We have to warn everyone. Don't worry, I'll be fine. Just stay right there and wait for me, okay.", Kristoff replied to her.

"Noooo, Kristoff Borjman, you get back here this insta-." Anna strongly emphasized but didn't finish her sentence when the cloaked man rode Sven and run past the corridors of the castle.

"Hi Kristoff, where are you goin-...woaaaah..headrush" the little snowman greeted as he was sent spinning by the rushing deer. He then grabbed his turning head to stop it with his small twig hands. He leaned on the wall for support and to escape the the feeling of dizziness.

Sven ran as fast as he could dodging the dark spots as possible. The spots that touched the speeding deer steed can't go through its thick fur. It seems like he's fine. A little later, they arrived at the center of the town, Kristoff screamed at the top of his lungs to the people of Arendelle as he kept riding Sven.

"DON'T LET THE DARK SPOTS TOUCH YOU. IT'S DANGEROUS. TAKE SHELTER. EVERYONE, HURRY.", Kristoff announced.

The townspeople panicked and followed what the future king said. They went to their houses in a hurry. They closed the doors, their windows and every entrance of their homes that could possibly be a passageway of the dark spots falling from the skies.

A man fell down and lost consciousness when a dark spot landed on his face. Kristoff noticed this and went to rescue the man.

"Nooooo! Come on, Sven. Faster." The deer ran faster as he could and went to the direction of the unconscious fellow. Kristoff hanging on the side of the deer and grabbed the man with his right hand. He succeeded on his attempt and leaned the man properly on Sven.

"To the castle, Sven.", the deer understood this and ran towards the castle. It wasn't long and they arrived at the location.

They were greeted by familiar figures. The Queen wearing a worried face with a little snowman beside her and a certain troll, Pabbie waiting for them at the door.

"Thank the spirits, Kristoff, you're okay." the Queen said reaching for the cloaked man as the man was taking it off.

"Yes, I'm fine but this man needs help. A dark spot landed on him and he immediately collapsed.", he replied.

Pabbie immediately took a look with the man lying on the floor. He could see the dark spots spreading down to his body at a slow pace. The man's body showed his veins grew darker and spreading by the minute.

"What is it, Pabbie? What's happening to him?, Anna asked the elder troll.

"I don't really know, your majesty. This is the first time I ever saw something like this. But I believe this man has been cursed. The dark spots is slowly killing his body.", Pabbie said to the people in the room.

"Can you heal him?", Olaf asked him.

"I'm afraid not. I lack the capabilities to heal something to this extent. It would need something greater to get rid off the curse. But I can slow down its spread.", he continued.

"Please, do so, Pabbie. Do what you must do.", Anna pleaded to the elder troll.

They were thankful that no more citizen of the kingdom who got the curse except for the man, the blonde guy rescued. As Pabbie was using his magic to slow down the curse of the man, Kristoff fell to the ground.

"Kristoff, are you okay?" Anna asked while tending to him. Sven and Olaf also helped him to get him in upright position and manage to make him sit up from the floor.

"I'm fine. Its jus-", Kristoff didn't finish his words and lost consciousness.

Sven push him a little using his head but the man just won't budge.

Anna scanned his body to look for hints if ever he was hit by the dark spots from the sky. Her eyes started to form tears when she saw Kristoff's right hand has dark veins in it, the same case as the man he brought in the castle.

"Kristoff...you're gonna be okay, I promise.", Anna cried while putting his other hand to her cheek.

Pabbie was done slowing down the curse in the man and he right away switched to heal Kristoff.

Anna was still crying and Olaf tried to comfort her by putting his hand to the Queen's shoulders. Everyone was sad and worried for Kristoff.

The Queen immediately made a letter for her sister.

"Gale, where are you?", Anna asked to nowhere.

A slight breeze brush off to her cheeks indicating the presence of a certain wind spirit.

"Please take this to Elsa.", she continued. The wind took her letter together with the leaves that represent the wind spirit. The letter then flew into the air and to the skies.

"Elsa. Please hurry.", Anna said with her eyes slightly red from crying.

Ahtohallan.

Elsa weirdly felt an uneasy feeling as she walks. She can't seem to place it. Something bad was going on. She washed off those thoughts by slightly shaking her head sideways and focused her attention to this place.

Elsa entered the path that was shown to her. Its beautiful. Sparks of light present in the air that light up the place. She never saw something like this till now.

She immediately noticed that this glaciers are not part of Ahtohallan. Its independent on its own but it still connected to the river of memories. Elsa is aware of it because as she walks deeper to this place, she feels fine. She doesn't feel the cold. Its different in Ahtohallan where she goes deeper, she will definitely drown and freeze to death.

"What is this place? It feels like Ahtohallan but its not.", Elsa said with wonder. Unknown to her, someone is watching her all this time when she entered the place.

Grey's POV.

It's been a few months since I've seen a real and alive person. I've been in this place for centuries. Locked out from everyone and the world. I was happy that I had a visitor last time. I doubt she will come back soon. A beautiful blonde hair with a pale blue dress which fits her really well. I was captivated by her beauty and soul she displayed, almost bewitched by it. I want to meet her, like really bad.

"I wonder what's her name and where she came from." I sighed with my thoughts.

The ground just shook. I was caught off guard by this phenomenon. The entrance to this sealed place has been opened.

"Whats happening? How could this be? Who coul-", with my spirit form that can wander around in this place, I searched for the cause of this. No one could enter this place nor open it in the first place.

While I keep flying around, my eyes focused on a womanly figure. I approached her and as I went nearer, I realized this was the woman who entered the frozen river of memories and became the fifth spirit.

"She came back, but wh-", I cut off myself as the excitement get to me. I got to see her again.

"Hey, what are you doing here?", I said while waiving in front of her and extending my hand afterwards. She walk straight near me, it felt like she was able to see me.

"Can you hear me?...can you see me?", I asked her but she just went through me.

"Ugh, who am I kidding? I'm in an astral form. She could never see me. I was a little down but I get it. It's too much to ask if she could see me. The magic thats keeping me here is really powerful, at the same time, a pain in the head.

I kept watching over her wondering what she's doing here.

Elsa's POV

I felt uneasy all of the sudden when I entered this place. I have a feeling that something is off. At the same time, I got a feeling someone is staring at me. I immediately hugged myself to get rid of these uneasiness, at least.

"Helloooo? Is someone there?" I greeted to the room where I stood. It seems like I'm the only one here.

I explored this place for several minutes but still got nothing. A little later, I saw a glimmering light not really far away from where I'm standing. I ran towards it, hoping it would be someone or something. When I reached my destination, I found a steep path going who knows where. The path is shining brightly. I took a breath and slided on the steep path.

I mentally braced myself to whatever awaits me in the bottom.

"Oww..that hurt.", I said when I bump to something hard when I reached the bottom.

When I composed myself, I noticed that this is a chamber. Just like when I dove deeper in Ahtohallan to find the truth. In contrast to whats above this place, this chamber is darker. There are streams of black matter in the ceiling that ends to the center of the chamber. The black streams encircling the chamber by the ceiling. Despite of it, the chamber is still a little bright and visible to the eye.

I walked to the center of the chamber and I found a crystal-like flames. I remembered what Honeymaren said that the prince was also sealed because of the magic he invoked to seal the demon. He was enclosed by the ones similar to what I am seeing now.

"This must be it. Its here. He's here." I said to myself. When I tried to looked more clearly in the crystals, I barely saw a figure.

"It must be him, the prince.", excitement and a rush feeling course within me.

"With him, we can defeat the demon of the apocalypse. We can protect everyone." I continued almost crying wiping the tear with my fingertips. I can't explain what I'm feeling right now. I just feel really happy.

He was holding a hilt of a sword that's struck down to the ground and a hand raised above his head. I won't lie, he almost look heroic.

Third Person POV.

Elsa lightly touched the crystals that sealed the prince. When she did, she felt her hands burn up from the gesture and using her magic to cool it down.

"Its hot. Its like the flames are still burning. But I don't feel anything when I stand near it." I said to myself.

On the other hand, the astral form of the prince is watching the fifth spirit.

"He's looking for me? But wh-", Grey said with curiosity. He was supposed to ask why she's looking for him but was answered directly when the fifth spirit said something about the demon of the Apocalypse.

"So he's back, huh? The seal should have lasted for 300 years. Its still fifteen years away from that time. How did that demon do it?, he continued and kept thinking. He shooked his head and casted away those thoughts.

"Those questions can come in later. If Armad is back, the world is in deep trouble. I must get out of here fast. I must defeat him as soon as possible. I won't let that him do as he pleases like last time. This time I will definitely protect them.", Grey clenched his teeth in anger as he finished saying those words.

"Grey...save me...

...help...

..kill us..please...

..I don't want to be a dem-..

..kill me...

..I'm sorry...Grey...for letting you do this.."

Memories of his dark past emerged back to Grey. He doesn't want to remember those horrible moments. He feels like he will throw up any minute by just thinking about it.

"I don't want to remember those times. But not acknowledging it means betraying my friends in the present.", he clenched his fists strongly.

"This time...definitely... I won't let anyone die.", he said with a new found determination.

Grey saw the fifth spirit trying to get rid of the seal. He is aware that the seal won't budge whatever she does.

"If you only have even a tiny portion of my flames, then it would be possible", he said to the fifth spirit not really hearing him.

Back to the present event, the fifth spirit is trying her best to melt the crystals to get rid of it which proves to be difficult. She kept pouring her magic to the crystals but it doesn't make any difference.

"Come on. Please. I need you to save everyone.", Elsa said with desperation.

However, the crystals don't have any dent on them. Getting rid of it is no easy feat. Her magic was ineffective with the demon, how come would it have any effect on the crystals that sealed the prince who defeated the dark being. Still she tried.

The fifth spirit was breathing heavily as he leaned to her knees for support. She was beyond tired but still she don't want to give up. Not when she's up this close.

With one last try, she gave her all and blasted the crystals with the reserved magic that she has.

The large blast that she made with all her magic and still nothing. She fell to the floor, her magic was exhausted and still breathing heavily.

"Its useless, your magic won't work", Grey said to her.

"I have to do this. I'm really close. I have to break him free from this sea-", while she said those words, he heard a little clank sound from a glass. She noticed the small trinket bottle that has black-blue flame on it rolled over to the side. Somehow, the flame calmed her down a little.

"What is it doing here? I don't remember bringing this", Elsa asked herself.

"Thats it, where did you get that? ...That's not important, open it.", he excitedly announced to the room.

Elsa grabbed the small bottle, contemplating if she should open it. The fifth spirit stood up. She lightly touched the opening and was about to open it.

The blonde woman opened it slightly and the flames suddenly grew bigger at her actions. She became nervous and immediately panic. With no second of hesitation, she threw it away towards the crystals and it burned the whole thing.

"Yes, finally. That should do it. You really have a knack for being lucky blondie.", Grey jokingly said to her.

The dark crystals slowly burned up and melted. The figure of the sealed prince gradually became clearer.

"Whats going on? That's not good...Ahhhhhhhh!", Grey shouted in panic as he was suck in by something.

He struggled to maintain his balance. He just closed his eyes and was eventually pulled towards his body. Finally, he merged back to his physical one.

The flames subsided and smoke remains in the chamber. The view later became more visible. Elsa approached nearer where the crystals where, not really sure where to go. Being careful with her steps.

As she was walking, she tripped on a nearby crystal and landed on a black figure. Nevermind where she landed, her lips crashed on something very soft.

"What is this?", she thought.

Its scent was like freshly fallen snow. She nerver experienced this. It felt warm and her cheeks blushed deeply when she opened her eyes and just realized what she did.

The fifth spirit was beyond embarassed for such an unqueenly display. Elsa was sitting on top of the strange figure. On top of that, she kissed the unconscious guy lying on the floor. Elsa was relieved that the guy wasn't aware of it.

"Is he even alive?", Elsa then checked his breathing and pulse. She made an exhale when she felt him breathing slowly.

"Way to go for first meetings, Elsa. You don't kiss guys you just met.", she mentally hit her self.

End notes: What do you guys rhink. Lemme know in the reviews. Stay safe everyone.
