Later that evening, Rob got tired so he was about to sleep on the couch.

"Wait." Rita said. "You can sleep in my bed and I'll sleep here."

"No… I don't want to be selfish." Rob sighed.

"Please, I know it must have been forever since you had a proper place to sleep." Rita said sympathetically.

"Alright, mom." Rob yawned as he stood up. Rita kissed him on the cheek as he went upstairs.

"I'm watching you…" Rill muttered.

Outside a tiny three fingered human hand stroked the window.

Rob climbed into his mom's bed. It was bug enough for two despite his mom being single. Rob covered himself with the covers and felt something he hadn't felt in a long time. Cozy.

Rob's eye slowly closed and he quickly fell asleep.

The next morning, everyone woke up, except Rob. He was snuggled deep into his pillows and blankets.

Rita was about to wake him up, but she decided to leave him. He needed a good rest.

At the kitchen table, Rill and Jamika were having waffles.

"So, I am trying to make a new painting, but I can't get it right." Jamika sighed, leaning her cheek into her palm.

"You know I love all your paintings." Rita smiled.

"But will Robby?" Jamika asked.

"I'm sure he will… He just needs to adjust." Rita sighed.

Later on Rob came downstairs, yawning a little.

"Hey. Robby." Rita said gently.

"Where are the others?" Rob asked.

"They went to school, speaking of which, I signed you up for school too." Rita said.

"I guess I have to if I want to be a normal kid…" Rob sighed.

"It'll be okay." Rita said as she kissed him.

The next day, Gumball and Darwin were goofing off with the other students in Miss Simian's classroom.

"Now, class. We have a new student." Miss Simian said, she then read a card. "Robert Seemore. He should be here any minute."

Rob ran in, panting from running.

"Ha, you're late, detention after school!" Miss Simian mocked.

Everyone gasped.

"This will be so cool, even in school I'll be like a hero stopping the bad guy." Gumball whispered excitedly.

Rob went to the desk in the back, the kids next to him leaned back to be a little further from him.

"Um… I'm not bad anymore." Rob said gently, but nobody was buying it. He sighed, this would be a long day.

In the walkway, Rob walked past everyone who either walked away faster or locked themselves in their lockers. Rob shook his head.

Rob saw that Anton had fallen on the floor. Rob smiled and offered his hand. Anton freaked out and gave him a dollar and some change. Rob sneered.

"I don't want your lunch money!" He bellowed. Anton whimpered and scuttled away. "Come back here I'm not bad anymore got it?! GOT IT?!"

Everyone was gone.
