Rob went to lunch, his mom packed him a ham and cheese sandwich with a side of carrot and celery sticks. In the past he pretty much ate anything he can get his hands on because he had been homeless and hungry. So this was like real food to him.
Nobody sat next to him because they were all afraid. But suddenly Gumball and Darwin came to him.
"Hey, Rob. What evil scheme are you cooking up today?" Gumball asked.
"I'm done being evil…. I think…" Rob sighed.
"Pretending to be nice so we trust you? Very devious." Gumball smirked. Rob rolled his eye, but Gumbalk had a point. He did kind of miss the old days of being evil and trying to destroy Gumball. But he had hurt so many people and his family would hate him if he did it all over again… well Rill would hate him more.
Soon, Jamie walked over to Rob.
"Hey Mr. Evil, what are you up to this time?" Jamie asked.
"Nothing." Rob sighed.
"Well, why don't I motivate you?" She kicked Rob in the back and walked off chuckling.
"I don't know what Anais sees in her." Gumball shook his head.
"I don't know she could have done worse, as usual." Darwin shrugged.
After school, Rob and Rill walked home
"I'm surprised you didn't blow up the school." Rill shook his head.
"I had the urge…" Rob muttered.
"Anyway… Mom said I have to get groceries… You go on without me." Rill made up and ran off. Rob shook his head.
Meanwhile someone was creeping in the bushes, heavily breathing pushing their bright red hair from their face.
"Who's there?" Rob asked, his poor vision preventing him from seeing who was spying on him. He rubbed his eye and then saw nobody.
"How was school, Robby" Rita asked as she took her son inside. "And where is Rill?"
"He went "shopping"." Rob said sarcastically. "In other words he's avoiding me."
"I'm sorry, Rill can be stubborn." Rita said sympathetically.
Later that night, Rob was on the mattress Rill got from the attic, when suddenly he got a call on his new cellphone. He didn't know if it was someone he knew or not so he answered.
"Hello?" He asked.
"It's been a long time, Dr. Wrecker." A gravelly female voice hissed.
"Is that you?!" Rob gasped.
"Yes, I would like to work together with you again." The voice offered.
"I am not that person anymore." Rob said. "Besides, you never helped much."
"Who gave you the idea to steal money? Who told you about the remote?" The voice taunted.
"That remote caused nothing but trouble. Evil or not I hate myself for doing that." Rob shook his head.
"Fine, but you will be sorry. You need-" Rob hung up and blocked the number. Then he went back to bed burying his head in his pillow.
