Bakugo sprang to his feet, ready to fight. Adrenaline pumped through his veins preparing his body for a long fight he might not win.
And then, his vision tilted sideways towards the floor.
When he hit the ground, his vision spun uncontrollably, making his head feel light.
"Uggghhh." He groaned from his position on the floor. It was hard for him to even think straight in his situation. But he still tried to weakly push himself off of the ground. But it was as if gravity had increased tenfold on him, pinning him to the hardwood flooring.
Now the villains were watching him with great interest. The man with the hands on his body stared with curiosity, the girl finished putting on her top, and a man in a full black suit handed some money to another man with reptilian skin who looked suspiciously like The Hero killer Stain.
"Can he really help us? His weak stomach shows me his morals aren't strong enough to help us on this mission. I don't really think Stain's morals run through him very deep."
"Master said he was the one."
Then, the girl squatted down in front of Bakugo's body and gave a big wide smile. "I think he'll do. Especially since he's kind of cute."
Bakugo then looked up and met her gaze, only to see a madness looking through the saffron colored orbs that sat in her eyes. He felt the fear of this craze, but also felt drawn to them at the same time.
Then the possy around him broke into an incomprehensible argument which, to Bakugo, sounded like a dog kennel after walking down the hall.
Then, after moments of pain and suffering, Bakugo finally found the will to speak, "Can y'all shut the fuck up and tell me what I'm doing here already?" He tried to push as much anger into his voice as possible. However, he felt that he sounded more tired than anything.
The man with hands all over his body then cocked his head to one side and grabbed Bakugo roughly by his bicep. It happened so fast that the girl fell back in surprise, and it only seemed like an instant before Bakugo found himself on his feet.
But this same firm hand held him strong as the vertigo tried to sweep him back down again. After a moment he let go, and had Bakugo lean himself against the counter of the bar they were in.
The man then scratched his neck absently, gazing at Bakugo with a far away look as if he was considering which way to skin his prey.
He then stopped and put his hands into his pockets, but the room was filled with a silent tension that not even his cool attitude could break.
"So what do you assholes want?" He asked asked as calmly as he could.
Everyone looked at eachother absently, as if pondering the best way to phrase something. But in the ever-growing tension the reptilian man in the back grew more and more irritated.
Finally, after another great length of silence, he finally broke and slammed his fist into the wall.
"We need your help! There's a goddamn mad man in there who's torturing some young girl to make drugs! We want him gone and I want the girl safe. We need your help to take him down as a pro-hero who has the authority to take her into custody!" He screamed with a rage so full of emotion that the other villains parted like the red sea, bringing his words to safety within Bakugo's pained ears.
"So. . .you want me to help take a little girl out of here and get her to safety?" Bakugo said, confusion spurred throughout his voice. "Yes." Shiragaki said, "It will benefit us by shutting this guy up, and stopping the spread of this drug."
"And save a tormented child."
"And save a tormented child." He repeated, pointing a finger upwards in acknowledgment. Bakugo looked back and forth between the two curiously. "Why do you want to stop the spread of the drug? Wouldn't it really benefit you to sell it yourselves?" Shigaraki sent him a sideways glance filled to the brim with madness and malice.
"Because it's getting irritating dealing with all the pro heros who are addicted to this kind of stuff." He said, not even attempting to hide the same malice from his gaze. "And now that you know what we want you to do, we'll teleport you into the secret room underneath the house to her. Kurogiri!"
Bakugo's eyes widened in fear as the dark mist quickly spread around him. "Wait I-" was all he could say before the black mist swallowed him again.
There was a moment of silence before the blonde girl crossed her arms and looked at Shigaraki, pouting. "What?"
"We talked about this, you'll never have any friends if you keep teleporting them away like this!" She fussed.
Shigaraki contemplated her for a moment.
"Shut up."
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Bakugo screamed as he fell face down towards the floor.
He landed with a thud and pain encased him for a moment. He groaned in agony as he stood still, trying not to push his body into any more damage.
But then he realized that he felt better than before. the nausea and vertigo was gone and the only thing he felt was the throbbing of his head after he hit the floor. So after coming to the conclusion that it was some kind of vertigo quirk, he decided that he was going to kill who ever put him through that and get himself off the ground.
He grumbled for a second as he got onto his knees, make more noise than he should in an unfamiliar place. The lighting around him was dim, just enough to see that this was a surprisingly small room. The walls were made of cement and seemed to go up further than the light would reach. But along the edge of the far wall sat a small twin sized bed. Bakugo stopped as the sheets came to life in a rustle.
"Hello?" Said a small voice as Bakugo's head moved over the height of the bed. He quickly lifted his head and saw a little girl who had red eyes and white hair, with a little horn popping out from underneath. Her eyes where big with wonder as he slowly moved to his full height. Then he stopped not wanting to scare her, and the little girl's head disappeared under her sheets with a scared yelp.
"Please don't take any more! I'm not ready yet! I-I-I still feel tired!" said the little girl through muffled sobs.
"Hey, hey. I'm not here to hurt you, okay?" Bakugo said in a soft whisper. "You're safe." A small bit of anger welled inside him, and the sudden strong need to protect. he wondered what this child had been through to be so scared.
She then shifted underneath her blankets but did not move out from under its protection. She was shaking and shivering, the thin dirty fabric that laid over her probably didn't help with that. And as Bakugo checked the room again, he came to the conclusion that this was the tormented girl the villains were talking about.
There was only one door, one way out. Otherwise he was surrounded by a good twenty feet of cement walls.
"My name's Bakugo. What's your name?" Bakugo asked slowly.
A small hor popped out from underneath her covers. "E-Eri." She said slowly.
