Lucy's Sticky Situation

Lucy gets her period aboard the Dawn Treader. Rated T for mention of girl puberty. In this fic, Lucy & Eustice are around 12/13, and Edmund is 14/15. Eustice is also slightly OC. Reviews would be greatly appreciated! Enjoy xx
Chapter 1
Lucy, Edmund, Eustice, and Caspian were all eating dinner. The 3 had just arrived, and Lucy, and Edmund were so glad to be back in Narnia. Eustice... not so much. Edmund and Eustice were having a row, and Edmund had just admitted that he had licked every one of Eustice's sweets that were stolen and hidden under his bed.
Lucy was giggling at Edmund's joke, when all of a sudden, she felt a sharp pain in her lower abdomen. She clutched her stomach, but quickly let go when she felt everyone's eyes on her.
"Are you alright Lu?" asked Edmund.
"Yep, I'm fine." lied Lucy, continuing to eat her dinner.
Caspian and Edmund exchanged glances. Lucy then noticed a little red stain on the front of her skirt.
"Crap." She whispered, turning bright red.
Eustice looked up at her, with a worried expression on his face.
"Are you sure you are alright Lucy?" asked Caspian.
"Yes." said Lucy. "But would you excuse me from the table? I'm feeling rather tired at the moment, and I'd just like to go to bed."
"Yeah sure?" said Caspian, confused.
Lucy quickly left before anyone else could say anything. She dashed to the bathroom. She knew what was happening to her, as Susan explained everything to her before she left for America. She was still flustered however.
"Why now?" she said annoyed.
She decided to take a long hot bath. She then washed her skirt, made a makeshift pad out of cloth & toilet paper, and went to her room. While walking to her room, she saw a mirror. She paused to look at it, and hated what she saw.
"Why can't I look more like Susan.." whispered Lucy, her eyes glistening with tears.
She quickly ran back to her bedroom door and slammed it shut. She started crying. After a couple of minutes however, she heard the door creak open. She sniffled and quickly wiped her eyes to find Eustice standing at the door. He had the rest of her dinner in his hand, and again a worried expression on his face.
"Lu-" he started, when Lucy interrupted him.
"I'M FINE!" she yelled, taking the dinner plate. "Don't you know how to knock?!" She slammed the door in his face, but quickly opened it a second later.
"I'm sorry Eustice..thank you for the dinner.." said Lucy awkwardly.
"N-no problem." said Eustice, clearly shocked at what just happened.
As Lucy closed the door, and went to bed, Eustice went up to find Caspian and Edmund deep in conversation. He sat down next to them.
"You gave it to her?" said Edmund.
"Yes, but when I went in, it sounded like she was crying. And then snapped at me for not knocking. It was so...unlike her. She apologized after, but there is clearly something bothering her."
Edmund started to rise, but Caspian pulled him back down.
"Let's not bother her tonight. She obviously isn't in the mood to talk to us right now. Let's talk to her in the morning." he said.
