The next day, JoSterio arrived at the hotel parking lot to finally meet with Sonic after he was supposed to meet one half of the main event last night, but due to the buzz surrounding the other matches, he needed to make some adjustments. In the car, JoSterio is talking to his agent, Lucha Bravo, via Bluetooth. "I can't believe that the tickets will go on sale officially this Friday and getting merchandise deals from stores in Vancouver. I hate to say it, but you managed to make Summer Stampede a talking point based on Social Media." Bravo praising JoSterio. "As much as I am happy with what I have so far. I still have three more matches left to add and one of them is a 3-team ladder match." JoSterio unhappy. "I was thinking about that; I have a few favors that some people owe me and one of them is from another world." Bravo pointed out. JoSterio thought about it for a moment. "When can you get them?" He asked. "They will be there first thing in the morning." Bravo answered back. JoSterio sighed, but knew he had no other choice but to take the offer. "Fine, but I don't want to know who they are until I see them, it's an invitational, not an audition."

"Alright amigo, good luck with the rest of the matches and I will talk to you later when those two favors come in." Bravo ended the call before JoSterio can say anything. "As long as it isn't a complicated team." He said to himself, knowing that this is an impossible thing to think about. He gets out of the car and see's an advertisement led truck showing Sonic and Incineroar meeting face to face with the Summer Stampede name on the bottom. "There is no going back." Josterio, a little impressed with this advertisement and heads to the Hotel.

JoSterio heads to the lobby entrance, but before he enters, a couple of kids recognize him. "Dude, it's JoSterio!" One of them said. He turns around to see a boy and a girl, Johnny Test and Sissy. "Hey, I know you two." JoSterio said, remembering them. "You guys are the ones that won the dodgeball championship a long time ago." Both Johnny and Sissy were shocked and amazed that someone like JoSterio remembers that. "How did you know about that?" Johnny asked. "I had an autograph signing the next day in Porkbelly, and I heard about these two young kids beating older dodgeball players." He answered. "So, what are you guys doing here?" JoSterio asked. "We are vacationing with friends and wanted to try out this town after hearing all the great things about it." Sissy answered. "Can we get a picture with you?" Johnny asked. "Can't say no to a picture." He allowed them to take a couple of selfies from the two. When Johnny and Sissy were done, they thanked him for the opportunity of a lifetime.

"I wish you still wrestled." Johnny feeling a little upset. "You deserved that chance after eliminating the final man in that Court of Gladiators match." JoSterio kneeled to Johnny's level. "I know, but sometimes life has a funny way of telling you that your not meant to last long doing something you love. However, if a window is open, don't close it because you might return one day, you just need to hear the words." Said JoSterio, and both Johnny and Sissy liked his words and said goodbye to him. "Dude, I wish he could come back." Sissy said, agreeing with Johnny. "If only Whisper didn't allow that lunatic to push him off." Johnny added and they went inside the Hotel.

"Why did you quit?" Said a female voice behind him. He turns around and see's Amethyst, wearing a disguise as she didn't want to get spotted by fans. "It was a ladder match and Whisper, one of my opponents didn't want to break character to stop a fan and he pushed the ladder and when I landed, I tore my ACL and despite healing very fast, I couldn't risk it again if Whisper was there since he had a chance to stop him." JoSterio explained. "But why didn't he get punished for it?" She asked. "He somehow convinced the promoters that he didn't see the fan, but one of my other opponents swore to me that he saw Whisper turn his head at the last second to allow that fan to get in the ring." He added. "That sounds fishy to me." Amethyst agreeing to JoSterio. "Can we talk somewhere private?" She asked.

On a café balcony next to the Hotel, JoSterio and Amethyst are talking so no one else can see them. "Wow, this a nice view of the woods and parts of the town up here." Amethyst complimenting the view. "One of the perks of owning this hotel and a couple of businesses." He said to her, and he wanted to get to the chase. "I'm guessing you are here because Eddy sent you?" He asked her. "That, and the fact that I want to come out of retirement and do one more match." Amethyst said. JoSterio was shocked and knows that Amethyst returning as the Purple Puma would be another big draw to the Stampede card as she retired it a few years back. "I actually am happy to see you do that, a lot of people will be excited to see you, The Purple Puma, a one night only attraction, and I can see if I can get a female that is worthy of fighting you in the ring."

"About that, I already have an opponent that is worthy of fighting me, but this person doesn't know I want to fight him." She said back to him. "I feel a lot of people will be shocked at this match and I feel it will be loved when the final bell is heard from it and it should be the second to last match on the card before the main event. "Well that saves me enough time to make some calls." He said relieved by that. "Who do you have in mind?" He then asked her. She looked at him and said the name. "Ed."
