Hi guys. Thanks for staying with me so far. Hope you enjoy it!

Rukia stood there on top of the mountain , her purple eyes wide.

"Ichigo? " she whispered.

She looked around even though she knew he wasn't there. Her heart ached, she didn't even get to write her name on his hand, just the letter "R".

"I hope we see each other again carrot top" she smiled painfully.

She suddenly heard a whistle type sound and looked up at the sky, it was getting darker by the moment and the comet was slowly illumination the sky with its beauty.

She took one last look around the mountain, " Wait for me Ichigo" she said, then she took off running, hoping to change her future.

"Rukia !" Momo yelled, " Where have you been!?" She was standing at the edge of the entrance of the festival with Renji.

"Sorry, sorry " she said breathless, " I got side tracked."

She smiled at them, " So, are you guys ready?!"

"Ready for what exactly..?" Renji asked suspiciously. "What are you up to now Rukia?"

" Nothing more than saving our asses" she smiled brightly.

"What ?" Renji looked at Momo confusingly, "Do you hear what she's saying! She's officially gone insane."

"I trust her." Momo simply said while looking at Rukia, " Count me in Rukia."

"Wha?" Renji said dumbfounded, leave it to Momo to agree and make him look like an idiot in front of Rukia. " Well , guess that makes 2 of us Ruks" he smirked.

"Great ! Both of you are to gather the crowd away from here, to the radio towers just outside of town." she explained.

" Why there? What is there exactly?" Renji asked. "Yeah, why there Rukia?" Momo asked as well.

"Look, let me go talk to Byakuya real fast, I need his help in order for this to work." Rukia said. " I''ll be back, in the mean time, try to convince people to go there, make something up. "

"Like what ?! " Momo asked confused. " Say it's a contest, a dare, the god's told you , I don' know. Be creative !" she answered. "There's not alot of time , just go now" and She started to sprint toward where she knew where Byakuya would be tonight.

" Don't die.. please don't die Hisana." A young Rukia sobbed. Please!"

Every time she came here, she remembered herself that way, completely and utterly broken.

She knew she would find Ni-sama here, he always comes here every year since Hisana loved the festival so much.

She peeked through the trees and saw him sitting Indian style in front of her grave. Her grave was always kept up and beautiful. The cemetery was outside the town limits, special reservations for the Clan, of course. She was momentarily glad for being a Kuchiki, it meant her sister's grave was safe from the meteor.

She slowly began to walk to him, she only hoped he would believe her and trust her.

" Hi Ni-sama.." she lowly said.

He seemed genuinely surprised to see her here , " Rukia." he simply said.

She internally sighed, he could never just relax around her and that was probably due to the fact she looked exactly like Hisana.

" I have a favor to ask.." she continued, " I know I been reckless before this but this time. I am 100% serious Ni sama, I knew you'd be here and that's why infront of my dear sister, your wife, I ask for your help" and she bowed to her brother.

"I am not going to give your hand in marriage if that's what you're looking for Rukia" he angrily declared.

"Of course not Ni sama! " she shouted in surprise, she instantly covered her mouth, " I apologize but no Ni sama, THAT is not it. "

He rasied his eyebrows at her, " It's not?"

" No Ni sama of course not!" she said.

He visibly relaxed, " You may ask me for anything as long as it's reasonable of course." he said.

" I'm sorry if this seems rushed Ni sama but I need you to tell the Elder Mayor to order the whole town to the radio station just outside town, I know it sounds crazy and I can't explain it to you but please listen to me Ni sama! " She bowed and pleaded with him.

" Rukia, why on Earth would you ask that?" He asked, "Especially on a night like this.." the festival, my sister loved it. she thought.

" There's no time Ni sama! " she could see the beautiful orange and red rays of the meteor color the sky, "Please just do this for me. I know for a fact that the meteor is going to destroy our town, We need everyone out of here!"

Byakuya finally grew angry, "Enough Rukia! This is nonsense. I don't know what you're up to this time but it has to stop!"

"It's not nonsense! The gods did accept my blood and gave me a chance to save everyone!" She yelled in frustration, " And you were right, there was a boy but he actually was the one who saved all of us and helped give me a second chance. We were body swamping..His name was.. was.."

She suddenly realized she was having a hard time remembering his name..

Body swamping? Byakuya thought.

Rukia was slowly starting to panic, " I...His..name." she mumbled. She shook her head and tried to concentrate when she heard the sky rumble.

"There's no time..." she said out loud, she turned to him and stared at him, " Believe me or not but I will NOT have people dying on my watch." she turned and ran.

Byakuya watched her leave, he sighed and thought " her too?" He turned to his late wife's grave " Even with you gone, you still show me the right way. I'm grateful for your "crazy" stories now. Thank you Hisana."

He grabbed his phone out of his pocket and dialed a number, " Hello Mayor. This is Byakuya Kuchiki. I need this to be done immediately..."

Rukia was running as fast as she could, she was keeping her eye on the sky, she could see how close the meteor was.

At the same time she was trying so hard to remember, to remember him. His name. She knew he meant so much to her.

She could still see his wild orange colored hair and those amber eyes and my god that annoying scowl!

" Please , Please say your name." she sobbed. She couldn't let his help go to waste.

She kept running down the hill into town, she had to warn those people.

She could see some of the lights off on booths at the festival, so she knew Renji and Momo were able to convince some citizens.

As she was running, she tripped over a rock and skidded on the road.

"Ahh! " she yelled.

She was growing weak, she felt like she could not run anymore. She slowly looked up at the sky again.

"I'm sorry.. I failed you. I wish I could remember your name! .." she sobbed. She was reaching out to the sky when she noticed something written on her palm.

"I love you"

She stared at the phrase. "You baka " she scoffed while crying. " You stupid arrogant fool!" she yelled.

"How did this help? If I'm slowly forgetting you.." " I love you too..." she whispered.

What felt like forever to her, laying there in the dirt feeling numb, She slowly got up to her knees, she knew she had to move forward. She couldn't let her people be destroyed.

"Please stay with me longer" she asked out loud, " please let me remember you a little longer" she pleaded.

She brushed the dirt off her clothes and wiped her face. Her eyes shining with determination, she got up to her feet and continued where she left off.

Momo and Renji continued to go around the festival pleading with people to listen.

" Why aren't they listening?!" Momo yelled.

"Maybe cause we sound crazy Momo" Renji answered.

"ATTENTION ALL CITIZENS, THIS YOUR MAYOR SPEAKING, ALL CITIZENS MUST REPORT TO THE RADIO TOWER OUTSIDE OF TOWN. THIS IS NOT A FALSE ALARM. AGAIN IMMEDIATELY REPORT TO THE RADIO TOWER. THIS IS URGENT."

Momo and Renji quickly looked at each other, " She did it!"

They started to guide the citizens out of their booths and out of the street. " Hurry along everyone! " Renji shouted, " Move it along!" " Please this way " Momo shouted as well.

Momo decided to be the one to guide the citizens to the radio tower, leaving Renji to wait for Rukia to come back.

Renji ran around the festival and was checking booths making sure no one was left behind. The meteor shower began. He could see the light shine of the showers, it was memorizing.

"Renji" he heard her whisper. He looked around and saw she was hurt. "Oyi! Rukia what the hell happened?" he ran to her yelling.

"I fell idiot what else?" she scoffed lightly. He shook his head at her, " Let me help you." he offered his shoulder to her.

" No ,I'm fine really. I'm glad to see it worked. Everyone got out of here." she sighed in relief.

"Yeah no thanks to us, the mayor made the announcement. How did you get your brother to agree?" he asked.

Rukia stared at him in shock..Ni sama actually listened to her? " I'm not sure.." she answered. We better get moving."

" Right let's go". They took off jogging out the festival when something orange caught Rukia's attention.

It was a little figure with orange hair.. laying on the ground..

Orange hair...He had orange hair..." Don't go." she said outloud.

Renji stopped jogging and looked at her confused, "What?"

"I promised I wouldn't forget him... and Now.. I don't even see his face..just his hair..his orange hair.." she whispered frantically.

Renji was now really lost..what the hell was she talking about. " What are you talking about?!" she suddenly turned around to face him, her eyes filled with tears and panic.

"Why can't I remember his name!?" she asked in a panic. Renji was utterly stunned.

They suddenly heard a loud alarm coming from the radio tower.

Renji and Rukia looked at the sky, the comet had already split into two, it was coming..

They both took off running as fast as their feet could take them, they ran past downtown, past their town's old houses, their school. They could practically feel the ground tremble from the impact.

"Don't look back, keep running!" Renji suddenly yelled beside her. She nodded and kept her eyes focused ahead of her.

Her heart was beating so fast she swore it would burst. What felt like forever they could finally see the gate of the tower. They made it.

Rukia finally turned around and could see the blaze ignite into the sky. She did it. She saved them. It was all thanks to you.

She felt her heart ache. She grabbed her chest where her heart was and asked one simple question.

What's your name?...
