The Weasley house was utter chaos on their return from the match. It looked like several bombs had hit and covered the house in books, clothes and random personal items. It was so bad that Fred almost packed one of Hermione's T-shirts. Mrs Weasley was pottering around them all barking out items on her list. Finally, everyone clambered downstairs with their cases and such, all except George, who was still packing. Fred had left him to it, only because baked goods were on offer. Hazel was about to head down the steps also, when she spotted him still in his room.

"You still not packed?" She teased him.

He smirked and then realised he had underwear and dirty socks all over the place. Instantly shutting his case he rushed out the room and went to shut the door.

"Wait!" Hazel exclaimed, pushing past him into the mess. Grabbing something from the side, she handed it to him. She wasn't very sentimental, but sometimes things were important to her even if they weren't practical.

George looked down at the moving photograph in his hand. "Remember that day?" She asked him with a smile. He nodded at the three redheads who were laughing.

"You broke the fountain in the west courtyard. Everyone got soaked. It was the day we met." He reminisced. How different his life would be if he had never dragged Fred out of the castle.

"My favourite day." Hazel's smile made George's grin increase. Nothing anyone did could change his adoration for Hazel and her crazy antics. She was just like them.

Hazel then shut his door and grabbed her bag. "Come on then." Her case dragged along the ground. "Your mum will be getting agitated."

Molly Weasley was not one for patience when it came to the Hogwarts Express. With as many children as she had she could never afford to leave the house a minute late or they wouldnt make it. As soon as the two of them got downstairs she pounced and rushed everyone out of her home in a panic.

They made it onto the train and Hazel began searching for one person in particular. The little Ravenclaw she had befriended last year. She had found Luna Lovegood trying to get her socks down from the rings of the Quidditch pitch. She kept swearing Nargles had done it, but Hazel knew the truth was crueller. But after talking to the girl she found she liked her a lot and saw her as a friend.

Luna was sat in a carriage with some other Ravenclaws. Her faced beamed at the sight of Hazel. She slipped in next to Luna for a short time and listened to her rant on about various plants and creatures in her garden. She was a sweet soul with such an amazing spirit, Hazel didnt want anyone to take that away from Luna.

Then Cedric slid open the compartment to grab Hazel. Hazel hugged her and left her to her Ravenclaw friends before saying hello to Cedric.

"Wanna find an empty compartment to hide in?" He mocked.

She rolled her eyes walking down the train with him. They found a private compartment and sat beside each other. Cedric noticed the books in her arms again, and this time couldnt hold his tongue. "What are those?"

"Oh." She realised. "Well it's kind of complicated to explain."

He nodded to encourage her to continue, so she took a breath and did so. "Fred and George went behind my back and snooped into my family history. The ministry have all these books and stuff." She handed him one, keeping the photo hidden in her pocket.

Cedric looked at them. "This is amazing." But then he saw the name she knew would worry him. "Sirius Black? The mass murderer?" He asked her in horror.

"Yes, Sirius Black is my father." She told him. "And Harry Potter and Hermione Granger said he's innocent." She reminded him.

He scoffed. "They are the year below you and you trust them?"

"Actually I do." She stated, strangely having faith in the 'almighty' Harry Potter.

This caused Cedric's mouth to close. "Okay." He accepted. Ced was not about to argue with the girl. That was not the way to win her over.

An hour passed and Hazel had fallen asleep next to Cedric on the seat. George slid into the compartment and then noticed her asleep, and Ced holding her books.

"Weasley." He nodded respectfully.

George gave him a look of suspicion and then nodded back. "Diggory." He then looked back at his best friend with a smile. Cedric noticed this and smirked, putting his arm round her slightly. George's face crinkled slightly.

"I hear you and your brother found her family." Cedric stated blankly.

George's expression became smug. "Yeah we did. She always wanted to know, and now she does."

"Well how noble." George could sense the slight poison in his voice.

"She's our family."

Cedric smiled down at her, and then looked back at George who was knelt down putting his monogrammed jumper under her head.

"Look after her, Diggory." He ordered, leaving them in the compartment on their own. This wasn't over; Cedric and George both knew the other wasn't about to back down.

Hazel woke up upon their arrival and leapt from her seat, grabbing her things. Hogwarts was her favourite place on the planet, and she loved returning. It was coming home.

They headed to the common room, through the kitchens and past the elves, and split off to their dormitories. Hazel only had one Hufflepuff friend and no friends in her year. She didn't work well with others, putting it nicely. After packing she headed back down to the main common room where Ced and his friends were sat around the fire. She sat on the floor in front of him and he put his feet over her shoulders.

"So you guys were at the match?" One of the girls asked Cedric.

Ced seemed to revel in the attention, whilst Hazel rolled her eyes. "Yeah, it was a great match, just a shame the camping trip was cut short." His nonchalance irritated Hazel, but she kept her mouth shut.

"It must have been so scary." The girl next to her said, practically falling all over him.

Hazel was so close to spraying water in her face for being so annoying. But she bit her tongue and let them continue. Sometimes to enjoy home you have to experience the bad parts of it also.

And Hazel loved being home so much she really couldn't care less.
