Trahald of Uru: Yes I am aware; I believe my computer is conspiring against me with these names.

Childofflameandwave: 1 and 3 are positive numbers; I think you got them confused with even numbers as they aren't.

"Dammit." Harry muttered as he lay sprawled out on the floor of Gringotts, he would eventually get used to Floo travel. Standing and brushing himself off he ignored the people whispering and made his way towards one of the Goblins.

"Yes?" The creature asked when it saw Harry.

"I wish to speak with my account manager, Goldtooth." Harry answered, the goblin grunted and pointed towards the hall leading to the account manager's office. "May thanks, may your enemies tremble at the sound of your name."

"And I hope your vaults flow with gold Lord Potter." The goblin replied before going back to his book. Harry walked the familiar path to Goldtooth's office and knocked loudly.

"Enter." Harry heard Goldtooth call out and he followed the instructions. "Ah Lord Potter-Black how may Gringotts help you today?" Harry closed the door and walked to the desk, pulling the paper from his robe and tossing it onto the desk. Harry then sat back and waited as Goldtooth read the article. "I can assure you Lord Potter-Black your vault was not the one in question."

Harry hummed in thought. "On average how many vaults are emptied a year at Gringotts?"

Goldtooth grinned, something he was doing more of since meeting the young Lord. "I would say on average three."

Harry nodded and processed the information. "Thank you; are there any leads on who broke in?"

"No." Goldtooth replied heatedly. "But we will find them." Harry nodded and also wondered if he could get a reward for any information he might provide.

"I'll look into it at Hogwarts later." Harry thought. "Has anything arrived for me?"

Goldtooth nodded and reached into a drawer on his desk. "A few invitations, they had small compulsion charms on them. Nothing serious, just enough to make you want to accept them." The goblin informed him as he passed the letters over.

"Any news on my projects?" Harry asked as he started looking at the invitations, checking the family crests on the back to see who they were from.

"I have found suitable land and have reached out to the owners." Goldtooth informed him. "I already have estimates from a few contractors as well."

"I will review it all after we have the land." Harry said as the goblin reached for another drawer. "Also I want to have Potter manor inspected, does anyone come recommended by Gringotts?"

"Yes, Stone Warding is a small company of skilled warders that can inspect and even repair wards." Goldtooth replied. "Very trustworthy and efficient."

"Thank you." Harry nodded then remembered something. "Are there lawyers in the Wizarding World?"

"Of course." Goldtooth said with a chuckle. "Though not as common as in the muggle world there are a few. I would recommend Allen & Walker, while we have not had dealings with them some of my other clients have said good things."

"I see, I imagine I can owl them to make an appointment?" Harry asked as he started to rise.

"Yes, just address it to Allen & Walker." The goblin answered. "Anything else?"

"For the Potters no but I do need to speak with Ripjaw." Goldtooth nodded and stood from his seat.

"Allow me to guide you Lord Potter-Black." Harry nodded to the goblin; he knew it was more for security then politeness though. Following Goldtooth out the door the two only walked a few doors down before coming to Ripjaw's door.

"Enter." Harry heard after Goldtooth gave the door a sharp rap. Goldtooth gave Harry a nod before heading back to his office.

"Senior Account Manager Ripjaw." Harry said as he entered the office.

"Lord Potter-Black." Ripjaw replied with a nod as he looked up. "How may Gringotts assist you today?"

"I was visiting Goldtooth and thought I should come check on the Black account." Harry informed the goblin as he sat down.

"All is well your Lordship." Ripjaw replied with a toothy smile. "I have invested in the companies you asked me to and dropped the failing ones."

"Excellent, are you prepared to send out the letters of Lord Blacks return?" Harry asked with a grin, one that was matched by Ripjaw.

"Of course, and I will notify you immediately when I get a reply." Harry nodded to the goblin.

"Perfect." The young Lord said as he stood. "Until next time Ripjaw, may your enemies die a horrible and painful death."

"And may gold flow into your vault like a river Lord Potter-Black." Ripjaw replied with a nod as the young Wizard left the office.

Dumbledore looked up as his fireplace flared to life and a body came crashing out of it, landing on the floor with a loud thump. "Fucking Floo." The old wizard let out a chuckle.

"I see you have gained your mother's love of the Floo my boy." Harry raised his head and shot the Headmaster a confused look before getting to his feet.

"So she's the one I have to thank for this curse." Harry mumbled out as he straightened his robes. "Please excuse my language and sudden appearance Headmaster. I called out Ravenclaw common room but it must be something else."

"For security reason's only my fireplace can be accessed for incoming Floo travel." Dumbledore informed the boy.

"Ah I was unaware, again sorry if I caught you by surprise." Harry said though he really wasn't sorry.

"It is fine my boy." Dumbledore replied in a kind grandfather like voice. "Minerva informed me you left school grounds and would be returning. I hope your business went fine."

"Yes, thank you sir." Harry said with a nod and started to leave.

"Ah Harry it occurred to me you missed the feast and as such my welcome speech." Dumbledore said to stop the boy. "I wanted to let you know to stay away from the third floor unless you wish a most painful death."

Harry raised an eyebrow at the statement and waited for the man to breakdown in laughter or something. After several seconds though Harry realized the man was not joking. "Of course Headmaster." Harry then spun around and headed for the door.

Dumbledore smiled as he watched Harry leave, he had wondered how to peak the boys interest in the stone. When McGonagall informed him about Harry's departure and the reason he knew this would be the perfect time. The old wizard reached across his desk and grabbed a lemon drop to treat himself.

Harry was deep in thought as he walked towards his common room, he was thinking on not only what Dumbledore said but the fact Hagrid had removed the item with him around. "Maybe it's a test or something; see if I'm a good person or if I would seek out whatever it was." He let out a sigh as he neared the stairs to the common room, if Dumbledore wanted him to investigate that room then that was the last thing he was going to do. "Besides, it can't be that important if he's using it as bait for me. Maybe he pretended to break in so I would become more curious. I mean you would have to be extremely skilled to get in and out of Gringotts anyway." Harry stopped his thoughts as he arrived at the door and used the knocker.

"I am the beginning of everything and the end of every place. I am the beginning of eternity, the end of time and space. What am I?" The knocker asked, Harry paused and had to think this one over.

"Time? No it said the end of time but what ends time?" Harry thought to himself before reciting it again slowly. "The letter E?" He asked somewhat unsure, fortunately he was right and the door opened. "Tough one." He muttered as he walked into the common room.

"Hey Harry." Harry turned to see Padma waving at him from a table with Anthony, Terry, Mandy and Lisa. "Where have you been?"

"Went to visit Hagrid." Harry said as he approached.

"The groundskeeper?" Anthony asked confused. "Why would you visit him?"

"He's the one who took me to Diagon Alley." Harry answered as he looked around the table to see what they were working on.

"He did?" Lisa asked confused. "I thought a Professor was supposed to take Muggleborns."

"Well I guess they were busy and he filled in." Harry replied with a shrug. "What are you working on?"

"Were doing our potions homework." Mandy grumbled out.

Harry nodded and turned for the stairs. "I'll go get my books and join you."

Harry let out a sigh as he left Defence Against the Dark Arts Monday morning, he had hoped the class would be interesting and informative. Then he meet the stuttering mess that was Professor Quirrell, the man who Harry was sure was scared of his own shadow. "Best School in the World my ass." Harry thought grimly.

"Great another class we're going to have to study on our own." Michael complained as the group walked towards the common room.

"I swear if the Flying Lessons are bad I'm going to transfer." Kevin called out as he looked out the window. Harry almost wanted to agree, he was looking forward to learning to fly.

"Boys." Su said while shaking her head. "All they care about is flying and Quidditch."

"I hope that's true." Harry thought with a small smirk before he felt something hit his head. Turning he saw one of the Weasley twins wink at him then duck into a classroom. "Hey I think I dropped my notes from Defence I'll meet up with you guys in the common room." They waved him off and continued onward, Harry started back towards the class until he was sure they were gone and then entered the empty room.

"Hello dear-"

"Employer of ours." The twins said one after the other, both were seated in front of the desk but were turned facing Harry.

"Gentlemen." Harry said as he crossed the room. "I take it you've decided."

"That we have, right Fred." One twin said with a large grin.

"That's right George we have." Replied Fred. "Though we want to be sure it not illegal, I mean we'll pull a prank or three but if we start breaking laws our mother might actually murder us."

"Don't think she'd even shed a tear." George said solemnly though Harry could hear the humor.

"I assure you we cannot get in trouble for it." Harry informed them. "It is not against the law, school or the Ministry."

"Well then-"

"We're in!"

"Alright then." Harry said with a smile. "Will start taking bets two weeks before each match. Will need a place to meet and work on what the odds will be."

"Worry not your Lordship." George said with a grin.

"We can find a place." Fred replied.

"Can they make bets on anything during the match?" Fred asked curiously. "Like who'll make the first goal or if one team wins but the other Seeker catches the Snitch?"

"Sure, will think up the odds for each game." Harry replied. "Now the only thing we have to do is get a Slytherin partner."

"What!" Both the twins said in surprise, George almost fell out of his chair.

"Listen!" Harry ordered before they could argue. "No Slytherin will make a bet with you two and many would be hesitant to with me so we need someone they can trust."

"Who did-" Fred started.

"You have in mind?" George finished the question.

"I don't really know any of them but I have someone I think will at least hear me out." Harry said as he stood. "Now then anymore questions?"

The twins shared a look, again having one of their silent conversations. "I think we're-" George said.

"Good for now." Fred finished.

"Until next time your Lordship." Both twins said with grins before hoping up and heading out of the room.

"The Harpies are facing the Wasp's in three weeks." Harry called out. "We need to meet next Sunday."

"Will find a-"

"Place to meet and let-"

"You know." Both finished together before walking out of the room.

Harry grinned as he thought about how well his plans were going for now but he needed to head up to the owlery, Hedwig was off taking his letter to the lawyers so he would have to use a school owl again.

Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Theodore Nott walked down the halls thinking about the letter in his hand, he had received it Monday at dinner and had been thinking about it all of yesterday. Harry Potter wanted to talk to him, usually he would be more cautious then this and bring someone with him but after the train ride he was curious about the young Lord. Potter was nothing like he had expected, he even sent his father a letter and the response was in agreement with Theo's findings. So he was throwing caution to the wind this once to see what was going on and maybe solving the puzzle that was Harry Potter.

Arriving at the mentioned room Theo fingered his wand, keeping it slightly hidden in his sleeve but ready, before entering the empty classroom. Looking around he saw the room was dusty, the tables and chairs looked like they hadn't been used in years, but the desk was perfectly clean.

"Welcome Mr. Nott." Theo looked past the desk and saw Harry starting to rise from his seat behind the desk. "Forgive me but I am unsure if you have been officially named Heir to the Noble House of Nott."

"I have not Lord Potter." Theo replied as he walked towards the desk. "My father has given me a year to prove I deserve the title."

"Well being sorted into Slytherin is a good start." Harry said while gesturing to the chair across from him.

"Quite." Nott said as he took the seat. "So why have you asked me here today?"

"I am starting a new business venture." Harry started to explain as he sat down. "I have everything worked out so far but one thing, I need a Pureblood Slytherin."

Nott raised an eyebrow at the statement. "That is rather specific." Harry chuckled at the comment. "What exactly is the business venture?"

"Gambling." Harry said and watched Theo for a reaction, the other boy looked confused.

"Like cards?" Theo asked, his father was a bit of card player and had friends over every other week to play. "I do know the rules."

Harry let out a chuckle and shook his head. "No not cards, well not yet, I am going to start taking bets on Quidditch."

"Really?" That got Theo's attention. "Wait how can I help I don't know anything about gambling?"

"That's fine, I can teach you everything you'll need to know." Harry replied with a small grin. "As I said I need a Pureblood Slytherin."

Theo frowned. "How will I be any help then?" He wasn't getting why his status mattered.

"Because someone has to have the trust of the Slytherin's." Harry explained with a shrug. "Most won't trust me so I need a go between."

Theo nodded to the reasoning; he had heard the whispers in the common room about Potter. Everyone agreed he was nothing like they thought but were still cautious around him, especially with him being a Lord. "I see, why me though?"

"You're the only Slytherin I've really talked to." Harry replied. "After the train ride I thought you might jump at the chance to learn more about me." Theo nodded to that. "Also I thought you might like to have the Lord of an Ancient and Noble house in your trust."

Theo was perked up at the statement, while he may come from a "Dark" family his father wasn't as devote as other blood supremacists. His father would do whatever would increase his families status and if Theo could get in Harry's good graces it would impress his father greatly. "What do I need to do?"

Harry grinned at the boy. "Two weeks before every match we will meet and go over the odds. Then you will go around taking the bets and reporting them to me. After the match we will collect and pay out."

"How do odds work?" Theo asked confused.

"If we give 2:1 odds and they bet 10 Galleons then the will make 20." Harry explained as plainly as possible, he would handle the money so he didn't need to explain too much.

"Okay." Theo said getting the basics. "I would suggest making a sheet explain how much you'll win. I'm sure a lot of people will have questions." Harry nodded to the idea. "Very well I'm in."

"Excellent." Harry clapped his hands together and stood. "I will get word to you when and where we will meet Sunday."

Theo nodded and stood as well. "I look forward to working with you." He said as he reached out and shook Harry's hand. Harry couldn't help but grin as they shook.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Harry was smiling as he sat down for dinner, with Nott's acceptance he didn't see anything being able to stop his plans. He decided to start step two of the plan and pulled out his copy of Quidditch Weekly as he sat.

"Hey is that the newest edition?" Terry asked as he sat down next to the green eyed wizard.

"Yea, I'm learning the game and brushing up on teams." Harry replied as he flipped it open. "I followed football in the muggle world and this seems pretty cool."

"Who was your team?" Kevin asked excitedly, Harry was right to assume the boy was muggleborn and learned he was a huge Manchester fan.

"I followed Chelsea." Harry said which was true after he learned that they were the team that caused his Uncle to lose and his new life to begin. Kevin frowned but nodded his head. "Won a lot of money off them." Harry said casually as he picked up the magazine.

"What?" Most of his year mates said in surprise.

"You're relatives allowed you to bet?" Padma asked when she recovered from her slight shock.

Harry nodded. "Sure, not that big of a deal."

"My parents would never let me do that." Kevin sighed out. "No matter how sure I was they were going to win."

"Well there not here so place a bet." Harry replied with a shrug as he pretended to read.

"You can't gamble at school." Lisa said with a harsh whisper, Harry chuckled at her.

"Where does it say that?" Lisa gave Harry a confused look and turned to Mandy, who just shrugged.

"Well in the school rules." She replied but her voice was unsure.

"Nope, read the bylaws and not a single rule against gambling." Harry said as he put down the magazine.

"I'll bet you the Wasps are going to crush the Harpies at the season opener in a few weeks." Anthony called out from across the table, this got the other boys talking. Harry suppressed his grin and cleared his throat.

"I'll take your bets." All the boys stopped and turned to Harry. "Well first I need to look up the odds then I can."

"Odds?" Terry asked and looked to the other boys for clarification but they all shrugged. Harry was about to answer when he heard a hoot and looked up to see Hedwig circling above him.

"Hold on Terry." Harry said as he picked up the magazine so Hedwig could land. The snowy owl quickly landed in the open spot and presented her leg to her owner. "Hello girl." Harry said as he stroked her and took the letter. "Any problems."

"Hoot." Hedwig thrilled as she shook her head.

"Well good, when the food arrives I'll get you a treat." This earned a happy chirp from his owl. Harry chuckled as he opened the letter and looked over the contents, which was a simple appointment note for Saturday. "Need to tell McGonagall I'll be leaving again." He thought before closing the letter and placing it in his pocket. When the food appeared Harry quickly grabbed a piece of beef and feed it to Hedwig, who gulped it down then jumped to his shoulder and gave him a quick ear nip before taking off.

"You spoil that owl." Anthony said with a smile while the others chuckled.

"Your just jealous she's smarter then you." Harry replied with a grin as the others chuckled at his joke. He dropped his smile when he felt his necklace flare up again and quickly looked around while touching his scar. This was the second time this week someone had tried to read his mind and he was sure it was one of three men, Dumbledore, Snape or Quirrell. Snape had only tried once but Quirrell had tried multiple times in both classes he had with the Professor. While he wasn't sure Dumbledore had he knew the man was skilled in the field.

"Are you alright Harry?" Su asked as she saw him touch his scar. "Is it another headache."

"Yes, I think I'll head to the infirmary." Harry said as he stood and too his plate. "Please let the Prefects know." Su nodded as Harry made his way out of the hall, getting a few curious glances.

Dumbledore frowned from his seat as he watched Harry leaving; he had seen the boy touch his scar and knew something was wrong. He discreetly looked down the table to watch the reaction of his Defence Professor. "What are you planning?" He thought to himself as his eyes went back to the main doors.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Harry sighed as he was once again found himself staring at a ceiling. "Are you alright?" The dark haired boy looked up to the voice and saw a middle aged witch standing behind her desk. Letting out another sigh Harry stood up and brushed himself off.

"Yes Ma'am." Harry replied as he shot her a small smile. "I seem to be at war with the Floo at the moment."

The woman chuckled and gave him a smile in return. "How can I help you today young man?"

"I have an appointment with Mr. Walker and Mr. Allen." Harry said as he walked over to her. "Lord Potter." Harry had to stop himself from rolling his eyes as the woman gasped and looked to his scar.

"Y-yes sir I mean Lord Potter." The woman stuttered out as she started to panic. "Um let me see if they are ready for you." She quickly fled the waiting room and Harry let out a small chuckle at her distress. He looked around and took a seat on a white couch against the wall to wait.

Soon the receptionist came back followed by two men, both in dark navy blue dress robes. The taller of the two men looked to be in his forties and had his brown hair cut to just above his ears with a slight five o'clock shadow. The second man looked older but Harry was having trouble telling how old the man was. While his hair was a dark grey but was full and combed to the side he looked to be younger then the man he was with. Harry did however pause on the man's grey moustache that curled up at the ends.

"Lord Potter a pleasure." The grey haired man said excitedly as he took Harrys hand and shook it. "David Walker at your service."

"William Walker Lord Potter." The other man said as he quickly filled the space David moved from. "How are you this fine day?"

"I am well Mr. Walker." Harry said with a nod.

"Excellent, now come let us go somewhere more comfortable to talk." Walker suggested before turning towards the hallway they came from. At the end of the hall were a set of large dark wood doors that Walker pushed open and Harry looked around the large room. Bookshelves lined all of the walls, though Harry guessed most were for ascetical purposes, with two dark green chairs and a matching couch all arranged so they faced each other. A small coffee table was in the middle of the arrangement and a small wooden cabinet sat between the chairs acting as a side table. "Please take a seat Lord Potter." William gestured to the couch and Harry nodded as the two men sat in the chairs.

"Now Lord Potter how may we help you today?" David asked as he leaned back and intertwined his fingers.

"I find myself in need of legal advice and hoped you would be able to help me." Harry began to explain. "However before I go into too much detail I am curious about confidentiality."

"Ah yes." William said as he opened the top drawer on the cabinet and pulled out a thin folder. "Here is a magical contract, when signed we are never able to divulge any information you reveal to us unless you permit it. It also makes sure we do everything in our power to help you legally." Harry took the folder and opened it to look over the documents inside.

It was a simple but thorough contract that did everything they said and a bit more. Harry nodded as he finished skimming it over and saw that the two men had already signed it. "Do you have a quill?"

David nodded and pulled out a silvery quill. "It must be signed in blood your Lordship." Harry nodded and pricked his finger with the quill before signing the bottom and passing it back. When David took it he looked at the bottom and gasped causing William to look at him.

"Surprise." Harry said with a large grin, William quickly snatched the document to see what was going on and his eyebrows shot up when he saw Harry's signature.

Both men had been excited when they first got the letter about setting up an appointment from Harry Potter, the clients they would receive if they became his lawyers would double their numbers easily. Now though they had a Lord representing two houses, both men didn't like to think themselves greedy but their minds were currently filled with piles and piles of Galleons. "Well this is certainly a surprise my Lord."

"I trust you will not be revealing that information to anyone." Harry said as he narrowed his eyes. Both Wizards quickly nodded their heads.

"Now what brought about this meeting Lord Potter-Black?" William asked curiously, he was even more interested now that he knew Harry was a dual Lord.

"I want to sue the author and publisher who printed the Harry Potter Adventure books." Harry said as he leaned back onto the couch. "They are fake but sold as real stories, people in my class have been lied to for years about me and I am displeased."

"I see." David replied with a nod, he had read them to his daughter but as she grew he explained they were fictional. "Well it should be easy enough to win but will take time to find the Author."

"I am in no hurry but want to make a show of the lawsuit so anyone else using my name will stop." Harry explained.

"Of course." David answered as he pulled out a spare piece of parchment and quill to take notes. "Are you interested in the money or is this to send a message?"

"Does it matter?" Harry asked with a cocked eyebrow.

"If you want the money that's one thing but if you're sending a message we can tell the press your trying to make up for all the children who have been lied to." David explained with a grin.

William matched the grin and nodded. "We can even say you plan to distribute the money or use it in some way to make it up to everyone."

Harry nodded along with the men; he was grinning as well and was happy he chose these men to represent him. "Use that and I will think of something to do with the money." Harry said as he stood. "If that is all gentlemen I will be off." Both men jumped up and shook Harrys hand.

"Of course Lord Potter-Black." David said with a smile. "We will keep you informed of the proceedings."

"If we go to the press they will want an interview." William informed him.

"Tell them to owl me." Harry replied with a grin as he turned and started to leave. "Interviewing with the Daily Prophet will be sooner than I thought but it should work out fine." Harry thought as he walked to the Floo and grabbed some powder. "Hogwarts!"

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

School started going by quickly for Harry, he found that other than his classes Hogwarts was very repetitive. Snape would do anything he could to take points away from Harry, Quirrell would try to probe his mind and now he was dealing with two new pains.

First off there was the Twins younger brother Ron Weasley, he had it in his mind that Harry and he should be friends and was constantly trying to get the young Lords attention. Luckily they had few classes together so Harry was able to avoid him but occasionally he would have to deal with the redhead. The Twins had apologized and told Harry they would do their best to keep the younger Weasley at bay.

The next pain came in the form of a blonde prick named Draco Malfoy. Ever since the train incident Draco had been avoiding him but now the young blonde had found his courage and was starting to pester Harry. Apparently the blonde found Harry's treatment of him on the train disrespectful and was trying to force the young Lord to apologize. Of course there was no way Harry was doing that so now Draco had made it his goal in life to annoy him.

Despite all of these things though his plans were moving along well, the Twins and Nott hadn't tried to hex each other when they met and seemed to get along fine. The previous Sunday had been productive; between the three boys they could properly dissect each team and allow Harry to create the odds on different events. His conversation at dinner last week had also peeked his classmate's interest and the bets were pouring in, even the Slytherin's were betting though not all of them. Theo guessed they were waiting to see if anyone was actually paid before more of them would start betting on games.

Harry stopped in his musings as he came to the large gargoyle guarding the Headmasters office. He had been summoned to the office after lunch though he wasn't sure why. "Chocolate Frogs." Harry said, the gargoyle sprang to life and moved to the side.

"Ah Harry my boy." Dumbledore said as Harry came up the stairs to the office. Harry cocked an eyebrow as he saw Snape standing to the side of the Headmasters desk.

"Headmaster." Harry said with a nod then turned to Snape. "Professor." His tone was obviously one of contempt, after all if the man couldn't be a proper Professor why should he be nice to the man.

"Mind your tone Potter." Snape snapped at the boy.

"Now now." Dumbledore cut in as he held up his hand to stop Snapes rant. "Harry do you know why I have asked you here today?"

"No sir." Harry replied with a shake of his head. "But if Professor Snape is here then shouldn't Professor Flitwick, seeing as he is my Head of House?"

Dumbledore sighed but nodded his head, he was hoping to avoid it but figured Harry would call him. "He and the other Heads of House are on the way." Harry was surprised by that but nodded. "Please have a seat while we wait, lemon drop?" The aged wizard asked as he gestured towards his candy dish.

"No thank you sir." Harry said as he walked over and plopped down into one of the large chairs. He then closed his eyes and started reviewing his plans as he waited for the other Professors to arrive, though he was curious if Dumbledore and Snape would try to read his mind.

Five minutes later, and no mind reading, the other Professors walked up the steps. "Albus, Severus." McGonagall said with a nod as she walked in. "Lord Potter."

"Professor McGonagall, Professor Sprout, Professor Flitwick." Harry replied with a nod to each of his teachers.

"Mr. Potter, excellent work on your last report." Flitwick said with a smile, Harry had given the man permission to refer to not refer to him as Lord since he was Harry's Head of House, and Harry liked him.

"Thank you sir." Harry grinned at the diminutive Professor. "I hope you liked the ideas for the color changing charm."

"Oh yes." Flitwick squeaked with a smile.

"Ahem." The two Ravenclaw's turned to see the other Professors staring at them, though Dumbledore seemed to be smiling at the scene. "Might we move to the matter at hand Filius?" McGonagall asked with a sigh.

"Ah of course." Flitwick said as he moved over to the others.

"Now Harry." Dumbledore said, though it irked Harry he addressed him like that he knew it was a petty matter for now. "We have heard some interesting rumors involving Quidditch and gambling?"

"Rumors sir?" Harry asked with a smirk, he knew that someone would tell the Professors but he had nothing to hide.

"Wipe that smirk of your face Potter." Snape all but snarled at Harry. "We know your involved."

"I don't deny that." Harry replied causing all the Professors to look surprised.

"I am disappointed in you Harry." Dumbledore said with a sigh as he recovered for the blunt honesty. "You will need to return any money you have taken and will be spending week with Mr. Filch."

"Why?" Harry did his best to look perplexed, which he must have done because they all shot him a confused look.

"Dunderheaded fool." Harry heard Snape mutter.

"For the gambling Harry." Dumbledore replied, not even acknowledging Snape's comment.

"But I've done nothing wrong." The green eyed boy replied.

Dumbledore frowned at the boy. "Despite your views on Gambling it is against the rules Harry."

"Actually sir it's not." Harry smirked again as the Professors eyebrows all shot up. "I've read the bylaws and they say nothing about gambling at Hogwarts."

"That cannot be right." Professor Sprout said as she turned to McGonagall. "Is it?"

McGonagall let out a sigh and rubbed her temples. "I will need to check the bylaws but if Lord Potter say it I am inclined to believe him."

"Be that as it may I cannot let this continue Harry." Dumbledore replied, drawing Harry's attention. "You will not be punished but the gambling stops."

"With all due respect sir you can't do that." Harry had to use all his will power to not smirk at this point.

"Potter!" Snape barked. "Twenty points from Ravenclaw for disrespect, he is the Headmaster of this school and will not cater to your frivolous ideas."

"Severus calm down." Dumbledore replied in a strong voice before turning to Harry with a calculating gaze. "I am curious as to why you think I cannot stop you from gambling at Hogwarts."

"Well sir to stop me means you have to make a rule against gambling." Harry started to explain. "However you cannot just make up any rule whenever you please, if you could then you could do whatever you wanted. The school bylaws state that rules can only be added, removed or changed by majority vote of the school board."

Dumbledore leaned back in his chair and studied Harry, wishing he could read the boys mind. "Very well." He finally said with a sigh. "Minerva please go over the bylaws and If everything is as Harry says he will receive no punishment."

"What!" Snape yelled out but was cut off before he could finish his rant by a silencing charm from Flitwick.

"If you are lying Harry you will be punished." Dumbledore finished though he was looking at the now silenced Snape as he spoke.

"Of course Headmaster." Harry said with a nod. "Now if that is all sir I will be on my way." Dumbledore nodded and Harry quickly rose and headed out the doors, none of the Professors saw his grin as he left. "Point to me." Harry thought with a chuck as he left.

Dumbledore was lost in thought as he watched the boy leave his office, on the one hand he was promoting gambling, something he didn't agree with. "But he is including all students and as he pointed out it is not illegal, immoral but not illegal." The Headmaster ignored the comments coming from his staff and stroked his beard. "Perhaps this is just a business venture on young Harry's part, yes and if successful can show how intelligent he is." Nodding to himself Dumbledore decided he would sit back and watch how this played out.
