They made it to Diagon Alley, and Hazel followed the twins as they finally showed her their masterpiece: Their joke shop. They'd been planning to show her when it opened, but she had been so solitary that they didn't have chance. And now they could enjoy the wide smile on her face as she looked proudly at what they'd created.

She thought about how much Cedric would like this place. How he would probably have used most of them on her, just to prove a point and annoy her.

"I wasn't that bad, was I?"

She immediately turned. Cedric's glowing figure stood beside her. Her eyes widened, and the pain came rushing back. "Cedric…" She whispered. The twins didn't hear her, but dragged her along into the shop, ghost-Cedric in tow.

The place was massive. It was all colours of the rainbow, with so many floors and hidden crevasses. The twins had stuffed it fell of everything you could think of. Love potions. Puking Pastilles. Umbridge-mocking items. Even some dark and sophisticated stuff. She was impressed.

But she couldn't keep her mind off the fact that she had just seen Cedric.

"You called me here." Cedric stated. She stared at him in shock. She can't have. She couldn't have that sort of power. Could she?

"Apparently, that veil did more than you thought." Cedric stated knowingly. She was amazed he knew about all of that. She figured he'd been stuck in the spirit world or something. That he couldn't see what was happening in the real world.

She honestly believed that she would never see him again. Thank goodness she was wrong. Seeing him made her happy. But also guilty. Hurt.

"Haze!" George called. She turned back to look at her friend, smiling slightly and following him up the steps.

"What d'you think?" Fred asked her.

She grinned at him. "I think it's amazing."

They were pleased with her reaction. They had been wanting to show her for a while now and couldn't find the right time, because she was shut away. And now she was here, saying she loved it, they couldn't be happier. But she was still a bit… off. They could see it in her eyes. There was something wrong with her. She seemed extremely distracted.

"Haze?" Her head spun back to look at the twins.

"Are you okay?" George asked.

"You seem a bit… distracted." Fred admitted.

She shrugged. "I guess I'm not used to being in the real world anymore." She forced a small smile. There was no way that was the only reason. But they didn't push her. She was finally back with them. They didn't want her to revert back.

Hazel hung around in the shop, looking at all the merchandise. She truly was proud. They were going to do so well with this shop. Especially since she'd seen the other shops. They'd all practically closed down, except Fred and George's. Even Ollivander's, which was the place every witch and wizard got their wands.

They all needed a laugh these days. Or they would succumb to the darkness and the despair. And no one wanted that.

Hazel turned to look at Cedric, hidden in an alleyway. "I thought… I thought you were…" Her eyes began to water, the pain consuming her like when he first died. The guilt then also appeared and she found herself staring at the ground.

"I know what you thought." Cedric stated. "But I was always watching over you."

"Ced… I-"

"Don't, Haze." He interrupted. "I know what it was like for you. And I knew that I could never win your affections against George."

Her eyes shot up to stare at him. "George?"

Cedric said nothing.

"Cedric. What are you talking about?"

Cedric still said nothing. This frustrated her, and he could see it. But he knew that George had to tell her in his own time, like he did.

"Cedric you better tell me what the hell is going on."

Cedric's silence was deafening.

"Why can't you tell me?" She asked, pushing for answers.

"It's not my secret to tell."

"You really annoy me, you know that?"

"Then why bring me here?"

She let out a sigh and walked off, not realising that he would have to follow her. She was hurt by that. Why wouldn't she want to see him? And it's not like she meant to bring him here. She didn't know she could.

"Hazel."

She spun round to face him. "Stay strong."
