Jasiri stood there for a moment thinking about what just happened. A weird feeling? What could that mean? Does Janja realize… that he loves me? I mean it makes sense. If I'm not making him have a weird feeling, then what else is? Plus I knew this from the start.

Jasiri still stood there for a couple of moments longer. She ended the moments off with a sigh. There is a way that we can be together. I just need to be patient. Jasiri then went off into her territory.

As she arrived to her territory she spotted Kion whispering to Madoa, who had a concerned look on her face. Jasiri cocked her head to the side. What are they talking about?

Madoa suddenly spotted Jasiri and she approached her with Kion close behind. " Hey Jasiri," Madoa greeted her. " How was your walk?"

" Yeah, I actually feel a lot better than before," Jasiri replied.

" And how was Janja?"

" He was-" Jasiri paused as she processed what Madoa just said. " Wait, how did you know about him?"

" I kind of took a walk with you from afar," Kion added, budging in.

Jasiri paused for a moment with a look of concern. " That's the weirdest way to say you were spying on me!"

" Kion was just concerned," Madoa said. " You never act the way you did when you were here with your clan."

" And over Janja? Jasiri, you already tried to help him after saving his life," Kion pointed out. " And he refused it. Why are you still trying to help him? Even after everything he's done?"

Jasiri growled. " Maybe if you were actually paying attention to what we were saying instead paying attention to who was talking, maybe you would know that Janja only refuses my help because he wants to help his clan!"

" I know that's what he said but…" Kion sighed. " How are we supposed to trust him?"

" Maybe if you actually got to know him, perhaps you would know!" Jasiri snapped. " Maybe you would know that Janja comforted me when I needed it! Maybe you would know that Janja is trying his best to lead his clan in the right direction! You don't know him, and one day he will follow the circle of life. You will learn to trust him."

Jasiri walked past them and turn her head towards Kion. " And don't spy on me again Kion."

She turned away with her neck bristling and her teeth slightly bared. Kion looked as she walked away. Maybe I shouldn't have been so upfront about it. Kion and Madoa exchanged concerned looks before they walked off in different directions.

But I shouldn't stop here. I should make sure Jasiri is safe and that Janja doesn't plan for another trick.

" I just don't know what to do!" Janja exclaimed. Janja laid down in his den with his face buried in the ground. Cheezi and Chungu exchanged looks of confusion.

Nne happened to be walking by when he heard Janja groan. " To do with what?"

" None of your business," Janja groaned, muffed by the ground. Nne looked to the side for a moment before walking into Janja's den.

" What's going on now?" Nne asked. He approached Janja, taking note of his frustrated motions. Nne raised a brow as he observed.

" Uhh… I don't remember," Cheezi said with a confused look.

" It was something about Janja liking Jasiri for some reason?" Chungu mentioned while earning a glare from Janja as he lifted his face.

Nne perked up at what Chungu said, and turned to Janja. Janja looked up at him with his brows furrowed, not lifting his head up an inch. When Nne cocked his head to the side with both brown raised, Janja let out a sigh and settled his head on the ground. His eyes showed a look of regret or disappointment.

" So are you going to admit-"

" Nne, I'm not in the mood."

Nne sighed in frustration and sat down next to Janja. Janja frowned. " I just had hoped that my feelings weren't what I was afraid of and maybe I was just going crazy. But it was what I thought."

" And what made you realize that?"

" I found myself going back to where me and Jasiri would meet, because I was stressed out. I figured that maybe it would do me some good to go back to where I felt like I had someone to talk to. But I ended up finding Jasiri there. I tried to convince her that not seeing her was best for my clan but she seems so sure that she was the answer to all my problems. Then she reminded me of all the good I did around her and I got a weird feeling. That's when I realized...you know.."

" You still have to choose between Scar or Jasiri."

" Yeah, I know."

" Hey Janja!" A red skink approached them and appeared next to Janja. " Scar is calling another attack."

" Okay Shupavu, I'll be there," Janja confirmed. As Shupavu left, Janja sighed looking to all the hyenas in his den. He then looked away and walked away towards Scar's volcano.

As soon as Janja stepped into Scar's volcano, he felt like he was out of place. He couldn't say that he always felt cozy with Scar around but something just felt odd. His heart started pounding and Janja faked a smile as he walked towards Scar. Scar was discussing something with Ushari when he looked up.

" Janja ...What a pleasure to see you again..." Scar greeted him.

" Uhh…yeah Scar." Janja gulped. " So… what's the next plan?"

" I'll tell you the plan once Kiburi and Reirei arrive, but this is about you guys attacking and getting rid of Kion's allies."

Janja's heart skipped a beat as Janja's eyes widened in concern. His shaky smile still remained on his face. " And which of Kion's allies are we getting rid of?"

Scar turned to him with a smug look on his face. " You, my friend, are going to get rid of Jasiri and her clan once and for all."
