Mr.47: Hay doesn't see him as alive but as a wraith, if he looked for how Voldemort became a wraith he wouldn't find anything because Voldemort looked for a way to be immortal and didn't know he would become a wraith.

Hidden Islands under attack?
By Rita Skeeter
The hidden islands, located amongst the Scilly Islands, have long housed many noble pureblood families. Not only do many live there but a few ingredient farms and animal ranches, where many potioneers get their ingredients, are housed there as well. Over the past two weeks several of the families have reported that their wards have been attacked.
Amelia Bones, Head of the DMLE, informed me she has people on the case but there is only so much her Auror's can do since there are so many wards keeping them from portkeying and apparating in.
Alastor Moody claims it's probably children bored and up to mischief, but until someone is captured they are at a loss.
These attacks are similar to tactics used in the past by Death Eaters, one might wonder if they are back on the rise?

Remus Lupin sighed as he ran a hand through his hair, looking down he realized his leg was shaking from his nerves. Sirius had tracked him down weeks ago, he had been working in the muggle world and hadn't heard about the trial, and after a few days of talking they had buried the hatchet. Now he was sitting in Sirius's house waiting for Harry to show up, he was nervous because unlike Sirius he didn't have a good excuse for not showing up to see him.
"Calm down Moony." Sirius said as he walked into the room and passed the man a glass of Firewhiskey.
"Sorry." Remus replied as he took the glass and sipped it, he didn't need to be drunk for his first meeting.
"I was worried to but Harry's a good kid." Sirius said with a grin. "Smart like Lily, he'll understand trust me." Remus sighed but nodded and took another drink.
A pop was heard and both men looked up to see Harry standing in the living room holding onto Lollie. "Thank you Lollie." Harry said to the elf.
"Welcomes master." Lollie replied before popping away, Harry turned and looked at the men in the room as they stood. Sirius was looking far more healthy and even seemed to have put on a good bit of weight over the past few months. The man next to him however looked a bit ragged, and not just because of his clothes.
"Hey pup." Sirius said as he walked over and slung an arm around Harry's shoulders. Harry had been confused as to the odd nickname at first but let it go as he could have gotten worse. "This here is Moony, aka Remus Lupin, member of the Marauders and best friend to me and your dad."
"Hello Harry." Remus said with a nervous smile as he shook hands with the boy.
"Hello." Harry replied. "Nice to meet you."
"You as well." Remus chuckled nervously. "Well I guess see you again would be the proper thing to say."
Sirius clapped his hands. "Right boring introductions out of the way now we can get on with the birthday celebration!"
"My birthday was a week ago." Harry replied with a cocked eyebrow. "I'm pretty sure I remember you being there." Harry had never really celebrated birthdays but Sirius had insisted they do something so he had a nice meal with him and the Tonks. Theo, the twins and a few Ravenclaws had sent him some gifts as well but nothing or real note.
"Well we missed a couple so everything is on us today." Sirius replied with a dismissive wave of his arm. Harry noticed Remus look a bit apprehensive but the man didn't say anything. Sirius grabbed hold of Harry. "Right hold on to your breakfast." Before Harry could say anything Sirius apparated them away.

When they arrived the only reason Harry didn't hit the ground was Sirius grabbing hold of his robes. "Easy there." Sirius said with a chuckle as he helped Harry right himself, he had also told Harry his mother had similar reactions to magical forms of travel. A crack let Harry know Remus had shown up as he straightened his robes.
"A warning would have been nice." Harry muttered as he glared at Sirius, who just grinned.
"As Moody used to say, constant vigilance." Sirius replied as he walked towards the main street. "Now what's first on the list?"
Harry sighed and shook his head. "Lets start with refilling my potions ingredients." Sirius nodded and led the group towards the apothecary. "So Remus what do you do for a living?" Harry asked as they walked.
Remus paused slightly. "I'm currently between jobs right now."
"I see well what did you do?" Harry asked curiously.
Again Harry noticed Remus look nervous. "Various jobs, still trying to find my place in the world." Sirius let out a loud sigh and stopped, spinning around he pointed to the side.
"Enough, come on lets tell him." Remus opened his mouth to argue but Sirius cut him off. "Nope either you tell him or I'll do it anyway." Remus snapped his mouth shut and sighed before walking over towards an alley. Harry was curious now and followed after, Sirius bringing up the rear and checking to make sure no one was around. "Okay spill it Moony, the sooner you talk the sooner we can get back to having a nice day."
Remus started opening his mouth but paused as he looked at Harry, the boy could see and sense a bit of fear and worry in him. "Harry the truth is well…I'm a werewolf." Remus closed his eyes as he confessed his secret, waiting for the usual reaction.
"And?" Harry asked, while a bit of a shock he didn't see what the fuss was about. He had done research on many mythical creatures in his youth and by all accounts werewolves were only dangerous when transformed.
Sirius laughed as Remus's eyes shot open, a stunned look on his face. "Ha told you Moony." Sirius punched the man's arm. "Now let's get these errands done and go find some fun." Spinning on his heels Sirius headed back towards the street.
"So why does being a werewolf make you nervous?" Harry asked quietly as he and Remus began following Sirius.
"We not very well liked Harry." Remus answered. "Most people think were dark creatures and fear us, granted a few werewolves behavior doesn't help." He sighed and shook his head.
Harry hummed and nodded. "I see." He thought it was a bit foolish, after all if they were only dangerous a few nights a month. 'Maybe I can use this?' Harry thought, after all he still needed to do things to keep up his "light" image. He would have to research everything later though and make sure it was a worthwhile investment of his time and energy. "Come on it's never a good idea to leave Sirius unattended." Remus chuckled at the true statement and picked up his pace, especially when he remembered the apothecary was run by a rather attractive married witch.

Harry lazily flipped the page of his book, a notebook sat next to him with notes from other books. After meeting Remus he had looked further into the werewolf issue and while it would definitely be difficult if he made progress he would be seen as a caring hero. Theo sat across from him, lost in his own book and thoughts about the issue. Personally he thought Harry was on a wild goose chase and wouldn't make any progress but having voiced his opinion he saw no reason to say more.
The door slide open and both boys turned to see the twins grinning at them. "Hello chaps." One said as they stepped in.
"Good summer?" The other asked.
"Mine was fine." Theo replied, other than the odd job for Harry he spent his time reading and learning about his duties for when he took over as head of the family.
"Mine as well." Harry replied and closed the notebook and book.
"Well good, wouldn't want our favorite lord to be in a bad mood." A twin said with a grin.
"Is there something you two need?" Harry asked.
"Can we not simply stop in and see our favorite second years?"
"No." Both Theo and Harry replied, the brothers both acted offended.
"See that Fred?" George asked. "No faith in us."
Fred shook his head. "No faith at all."
"My patience will hold up only so long." Harry said with a firm voice.
"Ah." Fred replied. "To the point then."
George pulled out some parchment. "We decided to be a bit proactive and started taking bets on a few things, who the new DADA professor will be, what color robes Dumbledore will be wearing." He handed over the parchment, Harry was surprised to see the amount of names.
"How did you come up with odds?" Harry asked.
"Made everything double your bet." Fred answered. "It was spur of the moment so we went with something everyone would understand." Harry sighed and shook his head.
"Fine but next time no random betting without talking to me first." The twins nodded and then quickly left, not wanting to get yelled at. Harry stood and handed the parchment to Theo.
"Put those in order by house so we can collect and pay out tomorrow." Theo sighed but nodded as he stood and climbed up to get supplies out of his trunk. A pop startled both boys and they turned to see a house elf in ragged clothing by the door.
"Harry Potter is not supposed to being here." The elf wailed.
"What the fuck?" Harry asked as he looked at Theo, who shrugged.
"There is danger at Hoggywarts!" The elf yelled. "Dobby tried to warn Harry Potter but he couldn't be finding his home."
"Slow down what the hell are you talking about?" Harry asked, extremely confused.
"Harry Potter must not be going back." Dobby yelled. "Dobby tries and stops you but yous didn't come to train right way."
"Wait Dobby?' Theo stared at the house elf, he recognized the name from somewhere but couldn't remember whose elf he was.
Dobby looked on with shock as he saw Theo. "On no Dobby is being bad elf!" He ran to the door and pulled it open before slamming it on his hand. "Bad Bad Dobby!"
"Stupefy." Harry drew his wand and stunned the house elf. "What the bloody hell is going on?" Harry asked as he turned to Theo.
"No idea but I recognize the house elf's name, can't remember where but I've heard it before." Theo answered as he hopped down and inspected the elf but saw no family crest. "What do we do?"
"Zeus." Harry said and suddenly there was a pop.
"Yes master?" Zeus said as he appeared, he gasped when he saw Dobby. "Master be gettings new elf?"
"No he came on and tried to talk to me." Harry replied. "Take him to Diagon Alley and leave him there, hidden so no one finds him." Zeus nodded, not really understanding what was going on but he didn't question his master. Grabbing hold of Dobby he popped away.
"What do you think that was about?" Theo asked as he looked down the door to see if anyone heard.
"No idea." Harry replied. "But we should be on guard for anything." Theo nodded as he shut the door.
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Great Hall, Hogwarts xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Harry was not liking how the year was starting out, first a strange elf on the train saying there was danger at Hogwarts then when he arrives he goes to the carriages that take the upper years and was shocked to see strange winged horse like creatures strapped to them. He had stared at them for a second and when Theo asked what he was looking at and he told him the boy thought he was crazy as he didn't see anything. Harry didn't get into it more and decided to just ask Professor Flitwick after he talked with the first years, who were in the middle of being sorted and a few had come to Ravenclaw.
So far the bets were going well, Dumbledore was wearing a light blue set of robes which only had a few bets. There was a new man sitting up at the head table so Harry guessed he was the new DADA Professor but would have to wait to figure out who he was. A snort from Terry made Harry look over, walking towards them was a small blonde girl that looked normal except for the radish earrings she had on and puff green and purple sweater. Harry cocked an eyebrow as she walked past and sat with the other first years, shrugging he looked up to see only a few students left.
Dumbledore stood with a smile as the last student went to their new house. "Welcome welcome everyone to another year." People clapped. "Now first I would like to introduce a few new Professors." Turning he motioned for the man to stand, he looked to be middle aged with pasty white skin and thick light brown hair he had combed to one side. His robes didn't look to rich but were far from ragged or poor. "Please welcome Professor William Blake who will be taking over for Professor Binns." Everyone clapped as Professor Blake waved, the Ravenclaws especially seemed excited that they were going to actually be learning History in the class. "Yes thank you Professor Blake now our new Defence Professor seems to be late…." Suddenly the doors to the Great Hall burst open and fireworks in all the colors of the houses short around the room, a dark cloaked figure zoomed in on a broom and made a lap around the Hall until he landed on the head table. Several of the Professors clapped and laughed, though McGonagall looked like she was about to have a heart attack.
"Ladies and gentlemen allow me to introduce your new, and greatest, Professor for Defence Against the Dark Arts Sirius Black!" Harry shook his head as Sirius held his arms our and more fireworks shot out from his robes, making several people cheer and clap. Sirius hopped off the table, grinning like a mad man, and made his way over to his open seat.
Dumbledore chuckled and clapped a bit as Sirius sat down. "Yes thank you Professor Black for that exciting introduction." Sirius shot up and bowed again. "Now for our new students allow me to go over a few rules."
Harry zoned out and looked at Sirius, who was staring at him and winked when they made eye contact. He had not told Harry he would be a Professor and Harry wasn't sure how he liked this, especially if Sirius tried tagging around him all the time. As the food appeared Harry realized how hungry he had become and decided to forget everything until tomorrow, though on the brightside he realized no one had guessed who the new Professors were.

Harry studied the new students as Flitwick gave his welcome speech, he would get their names later but so far none seemed to give off any kind of impression except for the oddly dressed girl. As the students disbursed Harry intercepted the tiny Professor. "Sir I have a question about the carriages."
"Ah curious how they work Mr. Potter?" Flitwick asked with a chuckle. "What's your guess?"
Harry assumed this was not an uncommon question since he seemed amused. "Well I saw strange winged horses that seemed to be death personified while Theo saw nothing."
Flitwick gasped. "Oh dear, of course." He cleared his throat. "You see Harry those creatures are called Thestral's and can only be seen by people who have witnessed death. And after last year…"
"Ah." Harry said with a nod. "And I assume they are harmless, despite their appearance?"
"Of course." Flitwick exclaimed. "Hagrid has them perfectly trained." Harry nodded.
"Thank you Professor." Harry said and made his way towards his room.
"Did the Professor help get rid of the Wrackspurts?" A dreamy voice asked and Harry turned to see the oddly dressed girl looking at him.
"Excuse me?" Harry asked confused.
"I thought I saw Wrackspurts floating around you at the feast but they seem to be gone now." She replied. "Good night." She spun and walked off to her dorm.
Harry blinked and watched her walk off. "What the hell?" Harry thought, shaking his head he decided he needed this day to end.

Of course Harry's first class for the new year would be with Sirius, walking into the class Sirius watched as the Ravenclaw's and Hufflepuff's moved to their seats. "Welcome everyone to Defence Against the Dark Arts." Sirius moved around the desk. "Now since your last Professor was a stuttering wanker." Several people laughed. "I want to see how up to snuff you are so push the desks to the side and line up against the wall."
Quickly following instructions, the second years moved the desks and lined up, Sirius then called them one by one and had them preform different spells. Harry used this time to also see who the more powerful students were; the results were what he expected but it was good to be sure. "Alright." Sirius said as they finished. "Seems you're not as far behind as I feared." A few students sighed with relief. "Next class we can start normally, now any questions before I dismiss you?"
No one moved for a second but tentatively Ernie MaCmillan raised his hand, Sirius nodded at him. "What as Azkaban like?" Harry and everyone else looked at the boy as if he was the stupidest person on earth.
Sirius lost his playful demeanor and looked at Ernie. "It was the single most horrible experience of my life." Sirius replied plainly. "Dismissed."
Hanna Abbot had the decency to smack Ernie on the back of the head as the Hufflepuffs made their way out. Harry walked over to Sirius as his housemates. "You alright?" He asked.
"Fine." Sirius replied as he turned around and grinned at Harry. "But now no one will ask me about Azkaban." Harry chuckled and shook his head. "You think he's the first to ask? Ha, that's the first thing everyone asks." Sirius chuckled. "Now if you'll excuse me I need to go find the sex potions Professor to console me." Whistling Sirius walked out of the room, Harry sighed and shook head.
"Why do I bother?" Harry muttered as he went to gather his things.
