~I do not own Toriko. This is a fandom that needs more love, and I'm prepared to supply it.

Takimaru played with his hands as he waited inside Coco's waiting room at the top of the IGO Summit. For the last 6 hours the heads of state debated and argued over a decrease in security for a certain endangered species. And you would think in this day and age the world leaders would agree to the terms within the hour of getting such information.

But, Takimaru guessed, the profit made on capturing Licorice Kittens from their nests in the wild made for some expensive illegal trade that some weren't willing to drop too easily.

Takimaru started to debate once again if coming here to ask the older Omega some questions was the right action to take. He placed his hands over a bump on his stomach, and sighed heavily. He'll wait one more hour; if Coco doesn't arrive then he'll leave a message or some-,

"Sorry it took so long Takimaru-kun. You have questions for me, yes?"

Startled, Takimaru looked up towards the older Omega. His hair was free from the green turban, so it flowed freely around his neck and jaw, with the appearance of being both silky and fluffy. He wore a casual business suit of white with a dark violet turtleneck sweater underneath the jacket and black dress boots. A single gold diamond ring stood out on Coco's black gloves. It was an understatement when saying the IGO president was popular. Popular just didn't cut it.

Coco sat across from him, coolly waiting for a response from his guest.

"I-I wanted to ask you something… er, I had a few questions that I thought you might know more about seeing as you.. went through it." Takimaru clenched his hands into balls and noticed fleetingly that they were sweaty. He was reminded that Coco had an air of nobility and regalness to him, a stark but similar contrast from his Alpha mate's more dominating and lord-like authority.

Coco raised a single eyebrow, but raised a cup of tea to his lips to sip it's contents before setting it down gently. "First, does the father know?"

Takimaru felt his face heat up, stuttered out a no, and went down to staring at his hands again.

"I have to say, I'm surprised by the compatibility the two of you have. I would have guessed you would have ended up with Aimaru or Match. But, I guess I can't say too much; I am married to a demon who has some form of common sense. Pregnancy and the effects are individualized. For me I didn't experience much sickness up until I had my triplets, Foraste, Crillo, and Trinita. After them I can't say I've had much difficulty giving birth to 11 children. Well, soon to be 13."

"13? Wait, you have twins?" Takimaru looked shocked to hear the news.

"Yes, twin girls as it seems, according to my fortune. I haven't gotten around to telling Starjun quite yet, seeing as he's concerned about our two youngest right now." The strong mint tea he sipped at relaxed his muscles and sharpened his mind.

"I-I wouldn't have known. How far along are you?"

"About 5 weeks."

"5 WEEKS? You're going so long without telling your mate?"

Coco smiled. "You haven't told Boogie either."

Takimaru's face went red and his gaze dropped. "That's fair, Coco-sama."

With the small amount of silence given Coco finished his tea and placed it once again on the table. "It'll be okay Takimaru-kun. In fact, I get the feeling that my husband will give Boogie the push he needs."

Starjun made a larger pot of tea, boiled down much stronger ingredients. The only reason he walked away from the brew was when a knock came from the door, and Paprika ran to answer it.

"Daddy, uncle Boogie is here." A smile crept onto Starjun's face. As far as Paprika was concerned, anyone and everyone he and Coco knew were family to her. It was more or less true.

His smile faded and in its place was one of neutral amusement as Boogie Woods walked in, back hunched over in a small winter coat, scratching his head in thought. The blond man looked at Starjun with confusion. "Correct me if I'm wrong, your excellence, but doesn't Cynna have white hair?"

Starjun poured a cup of tea, and another one for his guest, before he answered. "Cynna is fully grown Boogie, and she does. That's my youngest daughter, Paprika. You remember her."

"Oh… oh right, you have more than five now don't ya."

"11 to be exact." Though he doubted it would remain as such.

"E-eleven? How?" His question went mostly unanswered as the older Alpha took a long drink from his cup.

"What are you here for, Boogie? Better yet, it better be good to have come to my home out of nowhere."

That brought the flexible man back to his senses. "I-I just had a few questions sir… about… how Coco reacted to his pregnancy." Boogie ran a hand through his hair, making it stick up from where his hand touched. His face heated up ever so slightly.

The question prompted Starjun to raise an eyebrow. Boogie would usually be oh-so arrogant, but there was no sarcasm nor heat towards the question. Like he genuinely wanted to know.

"Why the sudden question about my mate's most vulnerable moments?" He wasn't a fool, Starjun would never tell a soul, especially another Alpha, about Coco and his children. It was a primal sense of protection that he was required to provide his Omega mate and their family.

"I may have gotten an Omega pregnant, and I don't know exactly how it works."

Boogie's face was all red now, and Starjun visibly relaxed. Just a harmless question.

Starjun tapped his fingers against the table, formulating how he would answer it. "Pregnancy differs from one to another. For my love, he didn't have any trouble with any of the pregnancies. Well, he did get unnaturally sick during one of them, but that's only because he was carrying triplets."

Boogie lifted his gaze back to Starjun, a silent action that he hoped would encourage the older man to continue.

And thankfully he did.

"Certain conditions need to be met with Omegas. They don't just produce offspring with just anyone. Compatibility is of the essence, along with proper nourishment and assistance from the Alpha."

Boogie's eyes widen upon hearing the last part. "Assistance? With what?"

"Providing the nourishment. The food they will consume during the time. A pregnant Omega undergoes a priority change, such as needing three times the nourishment they normally would get from a regular diet. The child an Omega carries is literally feeding off of them. That's why I would never leave Coco's side, or let him out of my sight until the child was born, and even then I pulled my weight and much more. Given, I would much rather have Coco stay at home while pregnant, but I couldn't possibly bear the thought of becoming one of the cretins that wanted to put him in a cage."

Boogie looked down at the table in thought. It did make sense. It took two to tango, and if that means he gets to see the kid, then he better make a damn good impression so the kid doesn't suffer and become a Gourmet Knight.

That said, Boogie stood up and bowed towards Starjun. "Thank you, my excellence, for your words and advice. I wasn't aware of this until today. I do know we reached the compatibility quota, so I'm going to find what he needs for nourishment, if he is fertilized."

"If I may inquire, who is the Omega you speak of?"

After a short pause of debate, "Takimaru of the Gourmet Knights."

"... really? I wouldn't have guessed."

Author's note: The three children mentioned in Coco and Takimaru's scene: Foraste, Crillo, and Trinita are all sons whose names are based off of cocoa bean varieties: Forastero, Criollo, and Trinitario. I may play with the names a little bit more for a finalization in a future story.
