A Tale of a Terrier

Chapter five: Coming Out

Tramp and Buster were glaring at each other with the two of them brawling as Devil instantly showed off his quick thinking as he looked up at the lock of Scamp's cage. He hopped off of Lady's back and got onto the lock, taking a claw out as he tried to pick it. Tramp and Buster charged at each other with Buster knocking Tramp into the wall due to Tramp's lack of fighting after moving in with Lady. Tramp got up though and tried to bite Buster, only for Buster to dodge and knock him back, which he quickly recovered from. Just as this happened, Devil unlocked the cage. "Booyah!"

Devil hopped down with Scamp getting out of the cage right before Devil kissed him on the mouth, much to his surprise and comfort. "You were pretty hot all locked up like that."

Scamp chuckled a bit before noticing Lady's proud look, making him smile as he then became determined to save his father. He knew he had to think good and hard on how to help him, since Buster wasn't as rusty with combat experience as he does. "Buster has the clear advantage. We have to throw him off somehow."

Angel and Devil nodded with Tramp dodging Buster's tackle as Scamp then called over to the Doberman. "Hey Buster! You stop winning so much, and you'll get common sense!" Buster became confused with Tramp taking the chance and biting at Buster's neck, making him gasp for air before scratching Tramp's face.

Buster slashed at Tramp's face, making him fall back, making Lady cover her eyes in horror at the sight of her husband being attacked with Tramp calling over to Scamp. "Thanks Scamp!"

Tramp charged at Buster, managing to pin him against the wall with Angel then seeing a chain near them and running over to it. She then pulled it just as Buster's foot was by it, making him trip as he tried to lunge at Tramp. Tramp then nodded to Angel and got an idea, giving a proud smirk as he sat on Buster's face and winked to the camera. This surprising everyone as Tramp then relaxed himself and cut a loud and bassy ten second fart, hitting Buster with a massive yellow cloud of rotten eggs that made his butt vibrate upon release (PHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHT).

Buster was gagging from the fart smell with Scamp and Angel laughing, Devil giving a thumbs up with approval, and Lady rolling her eyes while smiling with Tramp smirking in response to Buster's old look. Tramp was always the superior farter when it came to him and Buster, and if this butt blast proved anything, that's still the truth to this day, and Tramp had plenty more gas in the tank left for him. He decided to hold back for now though and instead taunt Buster to mess with him. "Bring back memories old frenemy of mine?"

"Not very good ones." Buster coughed as he stated that line, leaving Devil to rush right in and lunge at Buster, ramming him into the wall. "This is hardly fair either! You have reinforcements and I don't know where my crew is!"

Devil spat on Buster's face from afar, having aimed it perfectly and hit Buster right in the eye, disgusting him as he tried to wipe his eye. Scamp walked up to Devil, who stated how proud he was to make that move. "That was so worth it."

Buster got up as Devil was whiffing Tramp's fart, giving him a thumbs up and a sign of approval as Buster shouted at the top of his lungs. "I'M NOT LOSING TO A TRAITOR!" Buster charged right at Scamp, who dodged his bite and sent him towards Reggie's cage with a paw push. This led to Reggie grabbing Buster by his skin and making him chuckle nervously. "You're not gonna kill me are you?"

"No. I have my limits. But if you go after that puppy and his family again, that's one of them." Reggie warned Buster, making him nod in understanding as he then ran off.

Scamp ran up to his father and hugged him, happy to family be heading home with his family. "I can't thank you enough for coming dad. All of you." Tramp pulled Scamp away as Scamp held back his tears of joy as to not ruin the moment. "Let's go home. All five of us. Together." Tramp kept his smile and walked off with everyone as he commented on Tramp's gas. "Seriously though; it smells like your butt shot Buster with toxic waste."

"Yeah, you're not the first one to say something like that." Tramp replied while laughing, glad that his son was coming home.

Scamp and everyone else was walking home with Tramp getting a whiff of Scamp's odor from the three days he's spent out in the wild dog world. "Sounds like I'm not the only one who smells bad tonight. Someone's getting a bath when we get home."

"Dad, I just agreed to move back in; do you really want me to leave again now?" Scamp snarked, leading to Angel giving him an eyebrow raise before he defended himself. "Angel. He just mentioned having baths as soon as I move back in. I'd be more concerned about food than anything."

Angel rolled her eyes while smiling and then kissed Scamp on the mouth, making him smile as he then saw Devil wink to him. He was happy about that too, blushing about both Angel's and Devil's romantic gestures as he then remembered Reggie's advice, coughing before speaking up. "Oh and, dad?" Tramp gave Scamp his full attention with Lady knowing what Scamp was about to confess. "I've been through a lot lately, both with this wild dog crap and discovering myself, what I like, what sounds right to me in the end of it all, and...I think I might be BI."

Tramp smiled and rubbed Scamp's head, glad to see him coming out to his old man. "It doesn't matter to me, one way or the other. Regardless of the gender you're attracted to, or the gender you identify as, assuming dogs can even be transgender, I will always love you. Always." Scamp was more than happy to hear that his father accepted him, and he was especially relived by it to. He continued to walk home with everyone as he felt a massive weight was lifted off of his shoulder.

Scamp's sisters and owners were waiting anxiously on the porch as they then saw Scamp and the others arriving home. They all went over to them in excitement with his sisters being the first to speak up. "You're back!"

"Was it as gross as it seemed?"

"Did you die?"

Annette and Collette gave Danielle blunt looks over that last comment with Jim Dear picking Scamp up with joy as Darling and Junior, who Darling was holding expressed their joy as well. "You have no idea how happy we are to see you Scamp." Jim Dear then noticed how bad Scamp smelled and laughed it off a bit. "Okay. First we'll get you some food, and then we'll bathe you." Scamp rolled his eyes in annoyance at the sound of a bath as Jim Dear then saw Angel and Devil smiling as they looked up at Scamp, catching onto who they were. "I see you brought some friends home."

Darling got an idea when seeing the dogs hopeful looks, hoping her husband would be on board with it. "You think we can add in two more family members Jim dear? They don't look like the type we can't handle."

Jim Dear thought for a moment and smiled once he looked at Scamp nodding, knowing that they could make room for two more. "I don't see why not. (Sets Scamp down) Especially if it'll make Scamp happy."

Angel was beyond excited and could barely contain her emotions with Scamp noticing Devil wagging his tail as well. He couldn't help but give a smug grin at the sight of this, let alone call Devil out on his behavior, as much as he loved it. "Funny. You didn't strike me as the type to settle down and start a family with your boyfriend and HIS girlfriend."

Devil took a liking to the way Scamp phrased that and happily responded. "Ooh, kinky. I like where this is going." Angel laughed a bit with Devil bringing up why he was happy to stay. "And my free roaming trait has its limits. You found them." Scamp hugged Angel and Devil before noticing Annette giving him a thumbs up and smile as Collette was talking to Danielle about what she said to Scamp, making Scamp smile at the sight of his supportive family.

Scamp had just gotten finished with his bath, which he took after he ate a well deserved meal, and joined Angel and Devil in the living room when hopping up on the couch. Angel was wearing the same kind of bow that Scamp's sisters were wearing (Forgot to bring that up but I doubt anyone cares) and Devil was just lying down on the opposite side so they could both sit next to Scamp. "I hope my lovely new roommates are getting along okay."

"We sure are. No cringy love triangles here." Angel assured Scamp, and then she sat up and asked Scamp something that she hoped she would be okay with. "So does what you said outside mean you'll be dating BOTH of us?"

"Yeah. For now anyway." Scamp had to admit that he was still deciding on who he liked more between Angel and Devil. "I feel the same amount of love in my body from kissing either one of you, or just looking at either one of you, so I don't think it'd be fair to choose just yet."

Angel didn't see much of an issue with that as Devil then lied down right in front of Scamp, much to his surprise, especially after Devil squeezed his butt. "Well there's no point in peer pressuring ya. Take as much time as ya need while doin us both." Scamp was glad to hear that with Devil then giving Scamp a serious glare. "But take note of this Scamp...whatever your last name is. If you don't pick me, we'll only make out once a week."

Angel snickered a bit with Scamp smiling as he pointed out the flaw in that statement. "That still sounds like it'll go in my favor dude." Devil shrugged, knowing he and Scamp would have a great time together regardless of circumstances. The Blue Heeler then changed his position to where his butt was in Scamp's face, cutting a three second fart that reeked of kibble and hit him with a green cloud (phhhhht). "Aw dude!" Scamp, Angel, and Devil all started laughing with Scamp finding that he found Devil's farts as appealing as Angel's, leading to Devil giving him a flirtatious grin and making him smile in response.

Buster was roaming the streets as he looked for Scamp's house, seeing him inside wrestling with his dad and getting bloodlust in his eyes. While Scamp and Tramp were playing inside, Tramp had Scamp pinned down with his paw as he then noticed Buster outside their house. Scamp noticed Tramp gaining a defensive look, getting out from under him to see what was going on. He then saw what was going on with Tramp signaling him to stay inside, which he did. Tramp then went outside, walking over to Buster, who held back his Bloodlust. "What do you want Buster?"

"Oh, nothing too serious." Scamp watched from the window as Annette came by and saw what he was doing as Buster continued. "Just came to see what was going on in yours and Scamp's life now that he's moved back in."

Annette climbed up to the window hutch as Scamp did, seeing Buster and catching onto who he was and wanted to make sure she was right. "Is that the leader of that junkyard dog group Angel told us about?"

"Yeah. His name's Buster." Scamp then explained something to Annette that he knew she should know now that she saw him. "He's a frenemy of dad's and tried to kill him when they came to bust me out. I doubt he's here for a friendly chat."

Annette watched with Scamp as Tramp hesitated from attacking to make sure he didn't wrongfully strike Buster. "I'm not buying it Buster. I've been on your hit list for months now. Why would you randomly change your mind when our last encounter was a fight? It couldn't have been just because Reggie threatened you."

Buster laughed a bit as he then made his reply to Tramp's reasonable caution. "Trampy my boy, sometimes people can feel things that you just can't explain." Buster laughed a bit more and when it looked like Tramp put his guard down, he charged, only for Tramp to side step and pin him to the ground. "How did you do that!?"

"It's the power of learning old tricks." Tramp kneeled down to Buster with Scamp and Annette both looking in awe as Tramp then whispered to his frenemy. "If you ever come after my family in the attempt to hurt them for any reason, I'll kill you. I don't care if we were friends before, I don't care if you're ordered by a stronger threat to do so, no matter the reason you have if you try to hurt them again...I. Will. Kill you." Tramp got off of Buster, who stood up slowly and looked at Tramp with fear in his eyes as Tramp gave him a chance to leave. "Now beat it!"

Buster ran off as fast as he could with Scamp being glad to see that his dad was ready to protect them at any cost he could. "I think it's safe to say Buster won't be coming back anytime soon." Annette was more than relieved to see things go down well for the family, while also loving that menacing side her dad showed when pinning Buster to the ground the way he did.

Scamp was walking down the sidewalk as he thought about everything that went down in the past three days. He'd been through a lot in that time from meeting two special people that he's currently dating both of at the same time, met his father's old frenemy that now wants him and the rest of his family dead as far as he knows, and even got a closer relationship with his father because of everything that happened. He didn't want to say he wishes that none of it ever happened, especially since he ended up meeting two of the most important people in his life because of it.

He smiled at how these events played out, and he had a strong feeling that he would be able to get through whatever trials awaited him in the future. He didn't know exactly what would await him in future events to come, but he knew that as long as he had his friends and family by his side, he would be able to take on anything that came his way. He then heard the voice of one of his new love interests that caught his attention when they called over to him. "Hey Scamp, wait up!"

Scamp looked back and saw Angel and Devil running up to him, making him smile as he then continued walking after they caught up to him and Devil commented on him walking out here on his own. "Better not be goin rouge on me now Scampy. Ya just got your life back on track."

"I was just thinking about everything that's happened lately." Scamp explained, knowing that there was a lot to think about when it came to these last three days. "I'm not thinking about it in a negative light though, because I got to meet you guys."

Angel and Devil were both glad to hear that with Angel being curious about something Scamp was most likely thinking about as well. "How do you think your dad feels about you dating us?" This question caught Scamp's attention with Angel then explaining why she asked it. "Don't forget Scamp, we used to live in the same junkyard Buster lives in now. There's a chance he could feel a bit of resentment towards us in the future because of it."

"Pssh. I doubt he cares." Devil assured Angel, knowing full well that Tramp wasn't an idiot. "If he wanted to hate on us for being acquainted with Buster before then he'd be a total idiot. The way I see it though, he actually does have common sense, unlike his ex-boyfriend, who lacks a brain."

Scamp and Angel laughed a bit at Devil's words as Scamp then assured Angel that it'd all be fine. "Trust me Angel. If my dad was upset about you guys living with us then he would've said something when Jim Dear said you could stay." Angel saw Scamp's point as Scamp then brought up something else that he felt would be of great significance to them. "Also, I overheard Jim Dear and Darling talking, and they've already gotten started on filing the adoption papers for you two. (Angel and Devil give off beaming smiles) You two are gonna be new members of the family in no time!" Angel and Devil were overjoyed to hear this with Scamp smiling upon seeing their reactions, knowing that the three of them would love living together.

The next day.

Scamp, Angel, and Devil were all in the living room together as Scamp was showing Angel and Devil something that made them ecstatic. And it just so happened to be the papers that stated Angel and Devil as the latest members of Scamp's family. Scamp was just as happy as Angel and Devil were, knowing that they would have a great life in their new home. "Well guys, it's happened. After about half a week of tolerating me and my sisters while making sweet love to me in this lovely threesome, you guys and I are living under the same roof."

Devil thought long and hard about living with Scamp under a roof and taking it easy, coming to the conclusion that it'd be worth it. He felt that everyone could agree to being surprised that he actually made this decision, and Devil himself was ready for whatever came into his life because of it. "I gotta say Scamp. If I ever had anyone convince me to settle down and live the easy life, I'm glad it was you. And in an awesome house for that matter."

Angel also had something else to say on the matter, being as happy as could be by what went down. "After almost two years of searching and waiting, I finally found a place where I belong." Scamp and Devil could tell how relieved Angel was to finally find her home, much to their joy. At last, Angel had found her home, and with the love of her life, which in her book, was a win win. "I don't ever wanna leave. Ever."

Scamp was right up there with Angel when she said that, walking past Angel with her and Devil seeing how relieved and happy he was. "Funny how things work out. I end up being indifferent to family and living in a house without much excitement, and then after meeting you two, I realize that I didn't need to leave at all." Angel and Devil smiled as Scamp said that as slow, yet up beat music played, leaving the trio to walk over to the door and Scamp to be in front of them when looking back at Angel and Devil with his expression showing pure joy. "I just needed balance."

Scamp exited the house and began singing The True Meaning of Home with Angel and Devil joining him as he sang the first verse himself. "After three days of living on the streets, I find myself back home, and I'm as happy as could possibly be. (Walks down the steps with Angel and Devil) I discovered who I truly was, and where I really belonged, and that was with my family. (Scamp, Angel, and Devil start walking down the sidewalk) And after learning more about my dad and being freed from that pound...I realized my true self had been found."

Angel started singing the second verse, being more than relieved to finally have a place to call home. "I've been searching for so long it felt like forever, and after I met the love of my life, I finally got what I was looking for. I was beginning to lose hope, and wonder if I'd ever find it, but now that I'm here, I'm sure. (Angel thought about how she looked for so long and felt even more relief than before) That with everything that's happened, and all that I've endured, I now see that my dream of having a family, is ensured."

Devil decided to sing the third verse, being quite sure that he'd made the right choice in staying with Scamp and his family. "At first I thought that living in a home with rules, was much less than ideal. But then after I met you, and your family, it started to have an appeal." Devil started to think about his former family, wishing his family was as kind as Scamp's. "My family made me want a life away from rules, and I always thought that they were for fools, but now that I realized the truth thanks to a fellow youth...I see the truth. And I know I didn't show it much, but you did show me that not ALL families are bad. Like, cmon dude, I can't lie about that."

Scamp started to think about everything he'd been through lately, glad that it all worked out for him in the end as images of his journey were shown when he, Angel, and Devil arrived in the park. "Parents who accept me, two partners that love me, now I have just about everything that I need. This journey was super hard, I felt like I needed lard, to escape the trap that went ahead and headed."

Angel started singing as well, being aware of what Scamp was getting at when he sang his latest of the song's verses. "The true meaning of home isn't only where you live, but also the who you live with too."

Devil finished what Angel's line was getting at, feeling the trio were on the same page. "Even if it's boring sometimes it'll all be worth the trial, that's the advice I can now give to youuuu."

Scamp, Angel, and Devil continued singing as they looked around and saw the families in the park having a good time together, glad to find that they were all in the same place iwth one another, and that said place was in the best possible way they could imagine. "We've all been through a lot in the first three days of the week, but I think we can all say that it was worth it. It wasn't all that easy and at times we did feel queasy, but we think the outcome was the perfect fit."

Scamp sang the start of the final line, glad that he went through everything he did for what he learned and gained from it, as well as that home wasn't as anti-fun as he originally thought it was. "Discovering that I'm BI and getting closer to my dad, I now see home isn't an anti-fun dome."

Angel continued with Scamp's line, feeling that it had the perfect part for her to chime in once again. "Now we all have a family,"

Devil chimed in as well, knowing that he could make a good addition for these final lyrics. "And it's awesome for more than me,"

Scamp, Angel, and Devil sang the final verse as they looked over the park and saw the sun in the sky. "And now we all understand the true meaning of home!" Scamp, Angel, and Devil were all enjoying each other's company, hoping for this life to keep going as peacefully as it is.

Scamp, Angel, and Devil were heading back home with Devil chasing after Scamp and Angel with a fake rabid voice. "Prepare to die at the paws of my fangs!" Scamp and Angel were laughing as Scamp suddenly tripped on a rock, falling onto the ground and thankfully not being hurt. Devil then ran past Angel and gave Scamp a big kiss on the mouth after jumping on top of him, smiling as the two separated their mouths. "Hey sexy."

Angel was glad to see that Scamp was happy, though she had to admit that she was starting to find him having two partners to be kind of weird. "Not gonna lie Scamp. As happy as I am for you, this is gonna take some getting used to for me to completely adjust."

Scamp understood where Angel was coming from, giving Angel a kiss himself and noticing that Devil was giving him a thumbs up, indicating that he was on board with whoever Scamp chose. "Take as much time as you need. There's no rush." Angel was glad to hear that and the trio headed home, glad to find that all three of them were still getting along in spite of the circumstances as they all had their friendly chat as they did this past week. As the three of them were shown walking home together and away from the screen, it faded to black, ending the movie off.

Buster was shown to be alone in the junkyard, walking around and sulking as he then sensed someone behind him. He looked behind him and noticed the shadow of another dog with the silhouette matching an adult version of a familiar breed. "You want somethin buddy?"

Scamp popped up with excitement as he saw what was just shown. "Hold on! Does this mean we're gonna be getting a sequel sometime in the future?"

"Yeah, probably. Hopefully I can think of a decent plot for it." The creator admitted, showing that he was very interested in making a sequel if he could.

"Yes!" Scamp jumped up into the air and pumped his fist, only to lose his grasp and fall down, making the camera fall as well with the creator barely catching it as the screen then went to black for real.
