The Chalice of Love

When the Goblet of Fire is hoodwinked during Triwizard Tournament, it transforms into The Chalice of Love initiating a soulmate bond between Severus Snape and Lyanna Stark, the only heiress to three oldest pureblood family lines and the stepsister of Tony Stark. The love and chaos resulting from this bond and its effect on the ensuing wizarding war forms the crux of the story.

1. Chapter 1

Chapter 1: The Hoodwinked Goblet

All the four contestants of the Triwizard tournament, the three heads of the respective magic schools, along with Barty Crouch Sr., his assistant Percy Weasley, Ludo Bagman and Professor Mad-eye Moody were inside the waiting hall behind the teachers' dining area of the Great Hall. They were still engaged in a heated discussion on how Harry Potter's name was entered into the goblet.

Igor Karkaroff, the Headmaster of Durmstrang, was of the opinion that Harry Potter had placed his name himself into the goblet with the support of someone from Hogwarts while looking pointedly at Albus Dumbledore, voicelessly accusing the Hogwarts Headmaster of foul play. Dumbledore argued that the person who put Potter's name on the goblet must be powerful enough of manipulate an ancient and powerful magical artifact such as the goblet of fire and that the responsible person has only evil intentions towards Harry Potter. The Headmistress of Beauxbatons, Madame Maxime, appeared as confused as Ludo Bagman though not as excited as him. Professor Moody's magical eye kept of spinning in all the directions while his human eye was solely fixed on Igor Karkaroff which seemed put a hefty damper of the latter's already dampened mood.

Dumbledore insisted on finding a way for overthrowing the goblet's decision of including Harry Potter as the fourth champion of the tournament. The other two heads readily agreed. However, despite Barty Crouch sharing the Dumbledore's opinion, he could not think of way to undo the damage done by the hoodwinked goblet.

'Albus, can you have the goblet fetched here? It would be better to place it under surveillance while I get the Ministry to appoint a team to look into the issue' said Mr. Crouch.

'Sure Barty, I will send a patronus to Professor Snape to fetch the goblet' replied Dumbledore.

Moody said, 'Seeing as I am the Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor and Snape is a death eater...'

'was a death eater Alastor', stressed Dumbledore.

'Maybe. However, under the current circumstances it would be prudent for me to fetch the goblet' said Moody as he limped towards the Great Hall. As he walked out of the room, his magical eye fixed its gaze on Karkaroff.

Albus cast his patronus and rest watched as a phoenix flew from his wand instructing Deputy Headmistress Minerva McGonagall to disperse the student body to their respective dorms. He then asked the four Triwizard champions to join their friends.

After the four champions left the waiting room, Moody entered levitating the Goblet of Fire before him. Before the very eyes of the three heads of the magic schools, Crouch, Weatherby Weasley, Bagman and Moody, the Goblet flew upwards towards the roof and to the centre of the room and began spinning madly emitting vivid red sparks in all the directions filling the room in a deep red light.

'Oh Merlin' exclaimed Dumbledore and Percy Weasley, the only two who understood what was happening. The former being old enough to know the history of the goblet and the latter being a swot enough to research about it.

The Goblet of Fire is now The Chalice of Love.
