We said our goodbyes. Clary and I headed out to the magical night I have planned for us. I really hope she going to love it. I thought what she would like. I think I hit it.

We were walking the city for a bit. She then looked at me and asked,

"What do you have planned for tonight?"

"I have something I think you would like." I told her. I then took her to the park.

We started to walk there the park for a bit until there we came up to this food stand that had some good food. I already investigated this thing before. It was something different and fun.

"A food trucks?" She asked me.

"Not just any food truck." I told her.

*Clary's POV*

We got up to the food truck. I then saw it was Fancy on the Go. I have always wanted to try their food. I heard for a food truck it is so good. But I never know where they were going to be.

"I have always wanted to try this place. How did you know?" I asked him surprised.

"I have got some help. But I will never reveal my helpers." He told me.

We then got to the front of the line. We ordered our food. There were some tables on the side. I went over to get Jace and I a table will he waits for our food.

When Jace came over to me with our food I was smiling ear to ear. I was excited. I wonder what else does he have plan for the night. But right now, it is perfect.

When we got done eating Jace and I went walking the park so more. Then we started to walk the town. It was a nice night. This was perfect night. There were demons or anything supernatural happening. It was like a normal night.

"I don't want to jinx it or anything. But this night has been perfect. Just a normal night." I told Jace.

"That was what I was hoping for. I wanted you to have a night without all that stuff that goes bump in the night." He told me.

He was so sweet. He wanted me to have a regular mundane date. Trust me this was a fun different regular mundane date. I felt like a normal girl again.

We were just about to head back to to my place. He wanted to get me home in a decent time for Luke and my mom respect. But we heard something down an ally. I looked over to Jace. He looked at me.

Something didn't feel right. Something was up. We should go check it out. I then pulled out my seraph blade. Jace gave me a smirk and did the same. We headed down the ally.

What is a date without having some slaying some demons. When we got down the ally there was a few demons. I then looked over to Jace. What were they up to? We did what we were trained to do. Slay the demons.

When we got done slaying the demons we looked around to make sure we got them all. Of course, we did. Then Jace came over to me.

"You okay?" He asked me.

"Yeah. Are you good? I one of them got pretty close there." I asked him worried.

"All good. I promise." He said turning around to show me.

"Okay. What were they doing here? I thought they stayed away from this part of town?" I asked.

"I don't know. But let's get you home so I can go get answers and let Institution know what happened. Sorry that this happened. I kind of wanted it to semi normal date." He said.

"Jace, I love that you tried to make it semi normal. But this is our life and we must deal with it. This night was perfect even with the demon slaying apart." I told him.

When we got back to my place. Jace walked me to the door. I know Izzy is probably waiting for me in there. Also, Luke and my mom. I could tell Jace wants to kiss me.

So, I just went for it. I leaned in and kissed him. He kissed me back. When we parted he looked at me and said,

"I was post to do that first."

"Well, you were taking to long." I told him.

"I will see you later." He said.

"Night Jace. I mean it, tonight was amazing." I told him.

I then opened the door and went inside. I see Luke sitting there on the chair waiting up for me. My mom and Izzy were hanging in the kitchen.

"Oh, you are back." Izzy said coming over to me.

"How was the night?" Luke asked me.

"It was amazing. Even though we ran into some demons. But we take care of them." I told them as I headed into my bedroom.

"Wait, what? Demons were out where?" Izzy asked following me.

I then closed the door and explained to her what happened. Izzy knows Jace will take care of it. I will tell Luke and my mom tomorrow about everything.
