Kaito P.O.V
I woke up and found the girl, Haibara there. Apparently she was my med aid or something. "Kudo is at work. I was told to look after you for awhile." she said. "Ok. Is it ok if I go shopping. Wanted new clothes." I said thinking that I could use some for some new disguises as well. Haibara smiled. "Sure. Saw some outfits I wanted too." she said. She was now 14 years old. I knew she was now dateing Ayumi apparently and that the Shonen Tentei knew about the whole secret her and Shinichi had.
"Kuroba-kun I never said it, but thanks...for saveing me on the mystery train." she said. "I know how you feel. I would of done it anyways without asking for something from Shinichi. The Black Organization killed my dad and made it look like a magic trick gone wrong." I said. "Sorry for your sister and parents." She smiled. "Sorry for your father too. I am guessing Snake and Spider gave you quite a bit of a hard time."
She laughed. "I know who's in charge of the Kid heists, Kuroba-kun. I used to work for the Organization." she said. I smiled. I would never be able to tell with her. She was so nice and looked after everyone. We got ready to head to the mall and entered a few stores. We chatted and talked as we looked at several clothes and soon we had several bags of clothes. We stopped and got lunch at a Wendy's. "So how are you and Ayumi?" I asked. Haibara had decided to stay the age she was. "Great. School dance is comeing up and we are excited about that." she said.
"So plan on telling Kudo ever?" she added. "Doubt he will care after what happened to me." I said. She rolled her eyes.
"You know him! When he's pissed he will kick a million soccar balls at someone and at the moment he's mad at Hattori. Don't worry, he doesn't hate you." she reassured me. We got back to the mansion and I put my new clothes away and Haibara had to leave. I had also helped her find a dress for her school dance. It was a purple one with pink lace along the sides. It was gorgous and had a rose princess like theme to it. I smiled and sighed decideing on makeing dinner for both me and Shinichi when there was a knock on the door. I opened it and it was Ran and Sonoko.
"Came to visit. Know you are stuck here at times while Shinichi is working so thought we would have coffee with you." Ran said smileing. Sonoko made some coffee and the 2 sat down and talked for a bit.
I had heard that they now knew that I was Kid too yet I had fooled Ran one too many times with how I looked so much like Shinichi so she probably figured it out. After awhile they left. "We have to go. I help Amuro at the cafe part-time." Ran said smileing. I watched as the 2 left and then went back to cooking supper. It was spaghetti and meatballs. The door opened and Shinichi entered the house as I finished up cooking. "Didn't know you could cook." he said. "Lived alone for a long time. Keibu taught me how to cook." I answered. Shinichi smiled tasteing his food and smiled.
"He's a good teacher. Tomorrow's Monday so did you want to come with me to Uncle Mauri's?" he asked me. I shrugged and nodded an ok.
-The Next Day-
Shinichi P.O.V
I took Kaito to Uncle Mauri's and we entered the detective agency and found him checking his site online. Ran was cooking dinner. "Hi guys. Sonoko is joining us. Ok." she said. I nodded not surprised Ran's girlfriend was comeing too. "Need help with anything?" Kaito asked.
"Setting out drinks. We don't really have much of a table due to it being a detective agency so just set out drinks Kaito." Ran said. He did so and I helped set dishes of food out. Sonoko soon showed up and we were now eating.
"Shinichi need to talk to you later." Uncle Mauri said. I nodded an ok. "So Kaito how are you enjoying Beika so far?" he added. "Went shopping with Haibara yesterday and had coffee with Ran and Sonoko." he said. "We were planning a second shopping trip. Learned you loved clothes shopping from that Haibara brat." smiled Sonoko. "Little kid got lucky."
I smiled knowing he liked shopping due to being a disguise artist. My mom was a huge shopping feind too. "Do I want to know what you were shopping for?" I asked. He shook his head.
Ran and Sonoko giggled. We chatted for a bit and I learned Kaito was a huge chocolate fan. "There is a huge sweets shop. Ran and I love it. We should take you some time." Sonoko said. Soon we were heading back to my mansion. I smiled holding his hand. "Thanks...for saveing me." he said. I smiled. "Your welcome." I answered.
