Chapter 1

Midoriya pattered down the sidewalk towards the venue. He glanced down at the roughed ticket in his hands, 'Bakoki ‐ Live Tonight'. Why did they use both of their names for their band? The little emerald angel was one of the few to get a VIP pass to their show tonight. Perks of knowing the stars, lucky duck. An exhaled breath fogged around his head as the cold air pricked his freckled cheeks.

Mindless chatter surrounded him as he passed other fans, he practically bolted into the venue and made his way through the halls towards the main auditorium. Glowing, he spotted his former classmates on stage, though it always confused him how they found work together, didn't they hate one another? They were both creative and talented, maybe they finally saw past the childish things. Oversized screens buzzed and emulated light while the duo on stage gathered and placed equipment.

*BZZ*

Midoriya grabbed his phone while watching the dimly lit stage, figures still moving.

BAKUGO

glad to see u made it nerd, u got VIP pass rite? meet us after the show

Midoriya couldn't quite explain why he felt flutters everytime Kacchan spoke to him, even via mobile. Something about his childhood friend filled his heart with joy.

Loud music began to croak throughout the large room, and when did it get so packed? The smaller man must have spaced out taking in the stage.

Large spots of light were gleaming over two figures, front and center. After a few small words Bakugo picked up his bass and began strumming, a bit behind him frosty and crimson split hair sat at a drum set. The blank face of the duo tressed man was one of the fangirls' favorite features.

"Will you end my pain?" The golden haired man let out, in a sultry tone to the beat of the music.

The words began to flow from him as he threw his gaze out into the crowd. Women might as well have been throwing themselves onto the stage with the way they were clawing so ferociously for the blonde star. Their band hadn't made it mainstream, Midoriya recalled, but it was widely well received in town and the next few over. So he should have known the fanbase had grown from the last show. As had the size of the venue, though he was proud of them- they had sworn they could make it together as a duo.

"Can you taste my lust?"

Words purred from his lips as he held gaze with the younger, greener man. A feverish blush crept up Midoriya's nose as he stood listening, wondering what a weird coincidence to catch eyes at that line. Todoroki's deep, low voice scratched in the background. Echoing backup for the lead vocalist while he tapped out a rhythm. The crimson and ice tresses hung low over his eyes, he had never been a fan of all the attention. Although he was not shy or stranger to photographs and signings, he just preferred to not. Instead to indulge himself in his arts.

Midoriya missed his friends, they had lost so much contact save for shows and the occasional coffee. The trio used to gather for gaming or shows, and the green locked man hoped to rekindle that level of friendship during his meet-up, which was why he splurged for the VIP pass in the first place.

The set played out, the crowd emptied, and Midoriya found himself waiting outside of their green room. The meet-ups had ended. A security guard had caught him in the hall and told him he was requested to wait here instead, the duo wanted to speak to him. Faint trembling in his hands, he realized he really missed Bakugo.

"Oi! Deku!" A familiar voice called out, his t-shirt swaying as he walked towards the other man. Holes in his jeans said he didn't care how he looked, but Midoriya thought he looked fantastic.

"Y-You had a really great show Kacchan." The softer male chimed, reaching his arms out for an obligatory hug between old friends, as the taller man finally closed the gap of space between the two. He was met with two sets of arms around him, from behind a low voice crept into his ear.

"Hello, Midoriya."

Oh, oh the blush was back.

"Well.. well I missed you guys!" He managed to squeak out as he released their hug and went into the smaller room off the hall. As each found a seat, the emerald man noticed the two found theirs next to one another holding hands. He tilted his head.

This was news to him.

This was purely my ramblings from journaling, and I hope it plays out adorably! This chapter was the only one set to broken by lund, and very loosely as you could tell.
