But instead of ending up in her room. We ended up at the practice room. She then throws a bamboo stick at me. She made her snake bracelet into one. Izzy know what I needed. I gave her a smile and put my things down I had. We then went into fighting each other. Neither of us saying anything. For right now I just need to think about something else, anything thing else.
When we got done fighting. I just breathe for a moment. I am happy to get my mind distracted for a while. We have been fighting our skills for a while now. When we finally took a break, I saw Jace and Alec standing there.
"Now, that is something to watch. Please don't stop on our account." Jace said to me.
"You are such a guy. We have been training for hours." I told him.
"I bet it helped." Izzy told me.
"It did. Thanks Izzy." I told her.
"You know what is great after a hard work out. Dinner. What do you guys say?" Jace asked me.
"That sounds great mostly if you are buying." I told him.
"Be ready in ten then." He told us.
Dinner was amazing. We went to our favorite place to hang out. Simon even joined us. He brought TJ with him. When the night came to an end Jace took me home. He stayed with me for the whole night. He stayed on the floor in my room. Luke and my mom know and is okay because they nothing will happen.
For a while now that circle member has been at our school. It has been nerve racking me. I don't know what is going on. He has not tried anything or talked to me. He just kept his distance but keeping an eye on me.
"Hey, you okay?" Jace asked me.
"I am nerve racked. Mostly, when I don't know what is going on." I answered him truthfully.
"I know that this is making you nerves because we don't know. But you can't let this get to you. You must show them that you are stronger and better than them. The person I know you can be." He told me.
I gave him a smile. He was right. I must show them that they can't get to me and that we are step ahead of him. When we know we are not but trying to? I must live my life knowing they are near.
"I think I can get your mind off of it." Izzy said coming over to us. She had something in her hands.
"Is that what I think it is?" I asked Simon who was right behind her.
"Yes. Sadly." Simon answered me.
"What is it?" Jace asked.
"I am surprised that you don't know. The team was probably talking about it." I told him.
"Oh, that dance." He said.
He seemed like he really didn't care of it. Which I shouldn't be surprised by. But the football team always made a big deal about this dance because they always tried to show each other up. See who has the better gesture.
"Yes, that dance. The dance is something to the jocks because they try to show up each other." Simon told me.
"Really?" Jace asked surprised.
"Hells yeah." TJ said coming over to us. "Can't wait to see what you have in store to ask Clary. My money is on you this year."
I have never thought about it. I have never been asked out by one of the football players before. Because I have made it clear to them that nothing will happen. But I kind of always would like to be one of those girls with the right guy. It seems like Jace doesn't seem to core that much about it. He probably won't be doing it.
