I kept an eye on him and around me. I don't trust this situation at all. I have a bad feeling about all this. He is not here to hurt me. Then what is here for. I can't trust him right now.
"What do you want?" I asked him.
"Just to talk. We can't just do that." He told me.
I know better. He wants something. But also, he can't be trusted. I stood there not saying anything. I didn't know what to say. But I wanted to know what he wanted. Also, I was stalling for the others. I know they will come looking for me soon.
"Well sister, you have been a busy person a lot lately." He said.
"Maybe I have. Why do you want to talk now? You have been hiding this long. Why come out now?" I asked him.
If he was going to talk then I am going to get answers out of him. Or something that could help us in an away. I wasn't going to should him he was in control of this suction right now. I won't let him be in control of it.
"We have something to talk about. You have answers I want to know. I have answers you want to know." He told me.
"What do you want to know?" I asked him.
"I know about you and your special gifts." He told me.
"What about them? How do you know about them? Not many people know." I told him.
"I know things. Don't worry about that. Now this is how it is going. If you answer my questions, then I will answer yours." He told me.
"Deal." I said. Knowing that this is going to by me time and answers.
"When did her gifts start? How did them come?" He asked me.
"I don't know how they came to me. That is what I don't get. They started a while ago." I told him. I didn't give him time to say anything else. "So, where have you been?"
"Everywhere." He answered me.
"That's not answering my question." I told him.
"Just I did. I have been everywhere. I am always near." He told me. "When you use your gift how does it work?"
"Well, they just come to me when I need them." I told him. I wasn't going to give him everything. I know he is holding back with me.
*Jace's POV*
When practice was over, I looked up to the bleachers to see that Clary wasn't there. Where did she go? Izzy and Alec were looking at somewhere in the distances. I grabbed my things and went over to them. When I got to up to them, they turned and looked at me.
"Where is Clary?" I asked worried.
"She went off somewhere that away. She hasn't returned." Izzy told me.
"I don't get a good feeling about this Jace." Alec told me.
I looked at them and then to where they said Clary went off to. I put my things down and headed that direction. Izzy and Alec follow me. TJ saw me looking worried and heading over there. He came over with Austin. More the numbers the better. Just in case.
