I know I was going to be doing something stupid. But I need to know what he is doing. I followed Valentine. When I was following him, I lost him. I stood where I was at. Looking around. I know this could have been a trap. But I was taking that risk. I pulled out my phone to text Jace for back up. But for I could I felt something hit my head and everything was going black. Not before I saw Valentine standing there before me.

When I finally came to, I could see I was not in the Institution. But I was in a room. I tried to get up. My head wouldn't let me. It was killing me. I reach for my stele, but it was nowhere. I then heard,

"Looking for this."

I looked over to see Johnathon standing there in door away. What was he doing here? I thought Valentine and he were not helping each other. I thought Johnathon hated the man. Wanted to kill him. So, why was he here?

"Can I have that to heal myself? I can barely move." I asked.

"You can't do it. But I will do it for you. We can't let you have this to send for help. We need you." He told me.

"We?" I asked.

I must play long for right now. It is the only away I am going to get out of this. Or at less get a stele in my reach. So, it's time to put on the charm and everything.

"Yes, we. Our father is happy to have you here." He told me.

"Where is here anyways?" I asked him.

"You will find out in good old time." He said coming near me. "Now stay still or I won't heal you."

I did as he said. I need to save my strength right now. I don't know where I am. Or how far I am from New York. I let him activate my healing rune.

"That's enough. We don't need all her strength back right away. We still don't know where she stands." I heard from the door away. Valentine was standing right there.

"You can trust me. I am your daughter after all." I tell him.

"You maybe my daughter. But you have not proven me that you can be trustworthy." He told me. "Come on Johnathon we have things we need to get done."

They then left me in that room alone. When the door closed, I heard to door locked. So, I am trapped now. I don't even have a window to see where I was or if it is night or day. What that hell am I going to do?

*Jace's POV*

I just got done working out with Alec. I went to check my phone to see if Clary has texted me. But there wasn't anything. Usual she would let someone know she was back. But I haven't heard anything. I don't like this.

"What wrong Jace?" Alec asked me.

"Can you give Magnus a call to see if Clary has left or came back to his place?" I asked him.

"Yeah. Sure." He said.

I went to find Izzy. I am really hoping Clary is with her. She got sidetracked and that's why I haven't heard from her. I then saw Izzy in the control room. But I don't see Clary anywhere.

"Izzy have you seen Clary or heard from her?" I asked.

"No. I thought she was still at Magnus' place." Izzy answered me.

"No. She told me she was walking back here while ago. I haven't heard from her since." I told her.

Izzy looked from the screens and looked at me worried. She then turned back to the computer screen and started to look for Clary without saying another word. We both were thinking the same thing. I then went to look around Institution for her. Just in case.

After looking everywhere, I couldn't find her. I went back to Izzy to see if she got anything. I see Magnus standing there with Simon and Alec. Also, TJ and her guy friends were there. Meaning she isn't there. I then asked,

"So, what's going on?"

"She left my place while ago. But I haven't heard from her since. I tried to track her, but I can't find anything. Wherever she is having help from another warlock." Magnus told me.

"That's when Magnus called me. I went to her house and anywhere she would go. No one has seen her. Luke has the pack looking for her right now." Simon said.

"I can't find her anywhere in New York." Izzy said.

"This is now an Institution problem. We have to do this right." Alec said. He then walked away.

I know where he is going. He was going to talk to Maryse. Then they were going to get the clave involved. I hate just standing around. I know I shouldn't let her walk alone. I should have gotten her. Or at least do something so she wasn't alone. I need to do something. I headed out.

"Jace where are you going?" Izzy asked me.

"I can't just stand around do nothing. I know what route she would have token from Magnus to here. I am going to see if she left any clues or anything." I said.

"You really shouldn't be going alone." Izzy protested to me.

"He won't be going on. I will go with him." TJ said coming over to me.

"Fine. But keep in contact. We don't need to be taken next Jace." Izzy said.

"They have to fight me first. Don't worry Iz." I said.

We then left to see if we can figure anything out. We went to Magnus' place first. Then we went from there. We didn't say anything. I know there wasn't much to say.
