Ancient Dalek City

(Skipper's POV)

Classified, Eva, Short Fuse, and Corporal had donned head lamps while Rico passed out flashlights. We passed more dust covered Daleks and ancient equipment and computers. We passed dark hallways and a room filled with humaniod skeletons. We found long dead Daleks locked in old labs. Dust and cobwebs covered everything as weird alien vines grew on some of the walls. Whole areas are blocked by deactivated doors and collapsed hallways and abandoned equipment.

We eventually reached a area of the city that was unstable and falling into a sinkhole. We took one look at the unstable hallways and the massive hole filled with dark liquid that looked suspiciously like the liquid Daleks we faced earlier. We walked away from the sinkhole area and enter another area.

We entered another room filled with debris and the empty lower half of a dalek. The Top half was laying on the ground nearby next to a pile of dust with a metal tray on it. A rotted Dalek mutant sat in the corner of a open prison cell wrapped in a blanket. A knocked over and rusting away Dalek shell with the remains of a rotted Dalek laid on it's side. A containment cell was flashing on and off in the center of another nearby room.

We entered a mostly intact corridor and pass a disabled lift. We were about to enter the intersection of two corridors. We all hide behind some crates left on a abandoned hover cart as a group of Daleks with their lighted eye-stalks pass by. One of them stopped and did a quick scan of the area we were in. Finding nothing it turns it's stalk and continues after it's comrades.

I made signaled everyone to keep moving as we continue to the other side of the corridor as we entered a Command Area. We then rushed passed more debris and down a corridor pass a abandoned Dalek Nursery. The remains of a bomb and two unconnected wires lay covered in dust and cobwebs. The room was filled with cylinders half buried in sediment containing underdeveloped Dalek embryos. Though these look less squid-like and more amoeba-like and blob-y.

"The Genesis of the Daleks," Kowalski muttered as we moved away.

We entered a ruined Supreme Consul Chamber overlooked by a empty Emperor Dalek casing. A destroyed platform on the upper level looked portal like. We all silently decided that their was nothing of use here and left. We passed a empty room filled with banks of computers and a weird giant deactivated Dalek lens. We left and entered another room and then a hallway and another deactivated lift. We then entered what appeared to be a Dalek factory that was abandoned and ruined.

We ducked behind a barrier as Daleks moved past. The Daleks did a quick scan in our direction but found nothing and moved on. We waited until they entered another room at the other end. "Move out," I said.

"Yes sir," Kowalski replied.

We reentered the last room and traveled back to the hallway outside of The Consul Chamber. We found a rusty deactivated door which Rico destroys with ease with well placed plastic explosives. The Door fell and we were quickly met with Dalek death beams. We all dove and dodged out of the way as Rico fires off the Dalek-slayer. There is the screams of twenty Daleks as all of them exploded. We entered the room and passed the smoldering ruins of the Daleks that attacked us.

"Stay frosty men," I said, "There could be another ambush waiting for us."

A Door next to us slid open and a Special Weapon's Dalek appeared. Rico blasted the Special Weapons Dalek back with the Proton Bazooka. It didn't destroy the Dalek but it did cause it too be turned around. The Dalek then misfired taking out the Daleks waiting behind us. Suddenly all the lights in the city turned on as Daleks rushed us from all sides.

"So much for stealth," Kowalski said as the Daleks aimed their guns.

"Wait," I said, "If the Daleks restored power to the city..."

I didn't get to finished all all the equipment and computers turned on and a ominous beeping filled the air.

"Then the old Daleks are waking up," Kowalski said.

"We have not reactivated the statically charged floors," The White Supreme replied.

"But why are you passing on perfectly good Dalek troops?" I asked.

"The Daleks entombed in these city are Inferior Stock," The Scientist said, "These Daleks will remain locked away here. They are impure..."

"The only impure Daleks are you! ANNIHILATE!"

We all turned to see a single dusty damaged Dalek. A Special Weapons Dalek turned and fired destroying the derelict Dalek with one blast. Unfortunately it destroyed part of the power-system causing a chain reaction that once again returned the city to darkness. A final power surge trapped the White Supreme behind a impenetrable door and destroyed several Daleks. In the chaos and confusion we managed to slip away deeper into the city.

A Dalek with a claw-like torch approached the sealed door and started to cut. Other Daleks blasted doors down to rejoin their surviving comrades. The Supreme Dalek got impatient and just blasted the door down taking out the Dalek that was cutting the door.

"After them! Pursue and Exterminate!" The Supreme screamed, "Alert the next ambush group prepare the trap!"

"WE OBEY!" Several Daleks replied as they moved on.

They left without any concern or acknowledgment of their destroyed ancestor. Nor did they care about their destroyed comrades that they were leaving behind. Another Dalek blasts the ceiling causing a collapse leaving the failures buried under rubble. The Daleks then silently continued their pursuit.
