Old Command Area

(Skipper's POV)

With the deaths of Corporal, Classified, and Short Fuse still on our minds we entered a old Command Center. Complete with two deactivated Daleks in a control room. Some mining equipment was collecting dust in a corner. Residual energy was causing a computer screen to flash on and off every couple of minutes. Two other doors to enter the room were blocked by debris leaving the door behind us as the only way in. A ramp leads up to a second level where their was a sealed door that could serve as an exit.

"Rico!" I said pointing to the door we entered, "seal that door."

Rico grabbed a piece of sheet metal and welded it to the door effectively sealing it. We then arranged abandoned cargo carts and some of the old abandoned Dalek machines to create a bottleneck. Rico looked around and found a cart with silver barrels on them. The barrels were labeled in Dalek language but the warning signs were enough to tell us that their were explosives. Rico cracked a barrel left in a corner open with a crowbar. Rico then lights a match and drops it in the open barrel. Their was a loud boom as the contents exploded destroying the metal barrel.

"Position those around the bottleneck!" I said.

The barrels were hidden behind the equipment and carts where the Daleks couldn't see them. Two carts full of the explosive barrels were positioned where the Daleks could easy blast at it. Rico made sure to hide TNT and spread around gunpowder. The gunpowder was the same color as some of the dust that covered everything.

Once that was done we met at the second level balcony. Rico then set up charges on the door and readied his detonator.

"The Trap is ready," Eva said while Kowalski readied The Dalek-slayer.

"So now we wait," Private said.

"I doubt we'll wait very long," I said.

2 hours later

"Or not," I said.

"The Daleks were right behind us right?" Kowalski said.

"Taking their time I see," Private said.

"Great," Eva said.

3 hours later

"Any second now," I said.

"I predict that the Daleks will arrive..."

The sheet metal that we were using to seal the door exploded as Daleks enter the room. The Daleks move forward and enter our bottleneck. A Special Weapons Dalek is in the front followed by two red Drones and the White Supreme and the rest of the pursuing Daleks. Two cream colored Imperials were the last to enter the trap. The Daleks found their path blocked by the two carts.

"Come and get us!" I said.

"The Daleks stopped by some cargo carts!" Kowalski said.

"EXTERMINATE!" The Daleks screamed firing at Kowalski.

"KOWALSKI!" I screamed as I knocked him down.

Kowalski was pushed to safety as I received the full blast of the death beam, "Skipper!" Kowalski screamed as Rico blew the charges.

A I fall over and dead in agony I saw the Special Weapons Dalek blown the carts setting off the explosives destroying all the daleks. Before I closed my eyes for the last time I saw Kowalski, Rico, Private, and Eva flee into the next area. And then everything goes black...

And then The VR headset was removed and two penguin agents unstrapped me and took me off the treadmill. WAIT, VR HEADSET!? TREADMILL!?"

"Where... what... THE DALEKS!?" I said.

I saw Classified, Corporal, and Short-fuse sitting there.

"Don't worry," Classified said, "We had the same reaction."

"What?" I said.

"You probably feel like punching someone," Classified said, "So was I..."

"What is going on here," I said.

"Basically the organizations of the Elitist of the Elite Competition wanted to be extra cruel this year," Classified replied angrily, "Apparently we were the guinea pigs for their new Simulation system."

"WHAT!?" I screamed.

"Again we apology," Nigel said.

"You'll in on this Brit?" I said.

"Tea?" Nigel asked holding up a tray of tea.

"Coffee?" Nigel added pointing to tray of steaming coffee cups.

"So I'm eliminated," I said taking the offered coffee.

"Coffee cake? Crumpet?" Nigel asked, "Sconce? Lady finger?"

"No," I said taking a sip of coffee, "Fish?"

"Yes, you're out of the competition," Nigel said as he handed me a herring.

I put the fish in my mug and took another sip, "Next time tell us when your going to stick us in a simulation."

"Fine," Nigel said.

"Is there still a hockey match?" I said.

"Sadly... no," Nigel said.

"Good because we would have swept the ice with you," Classified said.

"Sorry Classified but Ice is our element," I replied

"Next year will be a more 'traditional' competition," Nigel said.

"Next Year North Wind," I said.

"Now let's watch the others progress," Nigel said.

"Um... don't stand too close to Rico when he gets out of the simulator," I said.

"Noted," Nigel said taking a gulp of tea.

"Well that explains why everything was so weird," I whispered to myself.

"We're still in first right?" I said.

"There is only one winner I'm afraid," Nigel said.

"Well good thing the Agent-bots aren't real," I said.

Suddenly a Agent-bot appeared, "You called sir?"

"Hi-yah!" I said as I took it out with a karate kick.

"Hostile intent! Hostile..."

"Stand down," Nigel said with a hint of annoyance and the robot shut down.

"Sorry there a tad trigger happy," Nigel said.

"You think?" I said.
