Chapter 5: Chenry and Jiper!
[Piper and Jasper:]
Jasper: So... What did you want to talk about Piper?
Piper: I want to talk about us.
Jasper: What about... us? *heart rate quickens*
Piper: That kiss in Truth or Dare. It felt more than a dare kiss, like a romantic kiss.
Jasper: It did?
Piper: Do you like me Jasper?
Jasper: Y-Y-Yes, Piper. I like like you.
Piper: Good. Because I like you too.
Jasper: You do?
Piper: Yes, now come here and kiss me!
Jasper: *leans in and kisses Piper*
Piper: And yes, I'll be your girlfriend, Jasper!
[As they're kissing, they both smile at Pipers answer. Onto Henry and Charlotte:]
Charlotte: So, what did you want to talk about, Henry?
Henry: I wanted to talk about us?
Charlotte: Us?...
Henry: A few months ago... Years ago, I looked at the most beautiful, kindest, smartest, and cutest girl in the world. Her name is Charlotte Page.
Charlotte: Henry...
Henry: Charlotte, you make me so happy in ways I can't explain. You're always there for me, you're my best friend, and you helped me find my first job the other, which didn't include buckets.
[They both laugh.]
Henry: What I'm trying to say here is... Charlotte, you are the reason I wake up everyday, the reason I smile all the time, the reason I live on this Earth.
[Henry takes Charlotte hands. Her eyes are glistening with tears.]
Henry: You are the most important person to me, and the importance to all of my days.
Charlotte: What are you saying, Henry? *eyes are still glistening with happy tears*
Henry: I'm in love with you, Charlotte! And I just need to ask, will you be my girlfriend?
Charlotte: Yes! A thousand times, yes!
[Henry stands her up off of his porch bench, and kisses her. Her lips are soft and tastes like strawberry. They both enjoy this romantic moment, as they can't believe it's happening. After a few seconds, they both pull away.]
Charlotte: That was amazing! I love you so much, Henry.
Henry: I love you too, Char!
Charlotte: *grinning from ear to ear*
Henry: I got you something, which I am really happy to give you, since you said yes!
[Henry pulls out a small box from his back pocket. He opens it and it has a shiny ring inside.]
Charlotte: You got that for me?!
Henry: Yes, I got it to show how much I love you.
Charlotte: Oh my god, Henry! I love it! It's gorgeous!
Henry: Anything for the best girl in the world!
[Charlotte goes close to him and kisses him tenderly and slowly.]
Charlotte: Thanks, Hen.
Henry: *smiles*
Charlotte: Let's go in and tell Piper and Jasp.
[Henry and Charlotte both go back inside the house and see Piper and Jasper on the couch.]
Piper: Where were you guys?
Charlotte: On the porch, Henry confessed his love for me. We're a couple now! *holds up the promise ring*
Piper: Henry got that for you? It's beautiful! Me and Jasper are a couple now too.
Henry: Congrats, we knew you too liked each other. Well, Jasper showed it more, at least.
Piper: *smiles*.
[Time for the stove goes off. It's dinner time!]
Piper: Who's ready for dinner?
Everyone: Let's eat!
[After dinner, the couples went to get ready for bed. Henry and Charlotte slept in Henry's room.]
Henry: Ready for bed, babe?
Charlotte: *smiles* Yes, Hen.
Henry: Ok, I'm gonna go change. Be right out.
[A few minutes later, Henry comes out in his underwear and goes in the bed with Charlotte.]
Henry: *puts his arm around her* How would you rate my confession to you, babe?
Charlotte: *turns around and accidentally touches Henry's private part* I am so sorry, Hen.
Henry: *laughs* Don't worry Char, it's all yours. *winks*
Charlotte: I'll keep that in mind. *winks back at him*. I rate it a 10, it was beautiful.
Henry: *kisses her*. Only for the best in the world, which is you.
Charlotte: What did I do to deserve you?
Henry: Everything.
[After that, they both talked until they got tired. Henry put his arm around Charlotte and thought back on that wonderful night, where his long-had crush became his girlfriend.]
Henry: Goodnight, Char.
Charlotte: Goodnight, Hen.
