Chapter 6: Charlotte Finds Out

[It was 7:38 AM in the Hart House. Henry woke up and found that Charlotte wasn't in the bed. She was downstairs for breakfast. As he gets up, Henry remembers Charlotte kissing him on the forehead when she left to go donstairs. Smiling, Henry gets up and goes to brush his teeth. After he does that, he goes downstairs to see everyone in the kitchen about to eat pancakes.]

Henry: Do I smell pancakes? I want pancakes! Where are the pancakes?

Piper: They're almost done, bro.

[Henry nods his head. He goes up behind Charlotte and puts his hands on her waist. He whispers in her ear:...]

Henry: Good morning, beautiful. Don't you look nice this morning. *kisses her on the cheek*

Charlotte: Your not so bad yourself, mister.

Piper: Breakfast's ready!

[They all go to the table to eat breakfast. After some well-made pancakes, Henry and Charlotte went on the couch. During breakfast, Henry decided that he could trust Charlotte, since she was his girlfriend and best friend.]

Henry: Hey, babe. I need to show you something. Let's go to my room.

Charlotte: Okay.

[They go to his room and Henry closes and locks the door.]

Charlotte: Why did you lock the door?

Henry: Because of this.

[Henry takes out his gumball tube and puts a red gumball in his mouth. He chews it and blows a bubble. While Charlotte is watching this, she is confused but amazed. After a few more seconds, Henry transformed into Kid Danger!]

Charlotte: *jaw drops*

Henry: You like?

Charlotte: Your... Y-Your Kid Danger? Oh, I get it. That's why your watch beeped the other day... You must have got a call from Captain Man, not from exercising.

Henry: I forgot to tell you how the interview went.

Charlotte: Oh, yeah. How did it go?

Henry: It all just kind of happened...

[After he tells her the full interview. They both go to Junk-N-Stuff. When they enter, Gooch is busy with his Venus flytrap, so he doesn't notice them.]

Henry: *quietly* Go, go, go!

[They speed-walk to the elevator in the back. Henry pushes the button and the elevator door opens.]

Henry: You might want to hold on to me. Tight.

Charlotte: I don't mind, but why?

Henry: This elevator is crazy.

[Charlotte puts her arms around Henry.]

Charlotte: How can an elevator possib-

[Henry pushes the down button.]

Charlotte: AHHHHHHH!

[Henry hasn't got completely used to it, but can hold his scream in. After a few seconds, the elevator comes to a crashing halt. AGAIN!]

Charlotte: Woah... What is this place?!

Henry: The Man Cave!

[Ray comes out of his room and spots Henry... with a random person he doesn't know.]

Ray: How... How could you betray me, kid?

Henry: What?... I didn't betray you.
