He has a plan. (They have a plan, if one wanted to get technical, but that wasn't the point.)
The plan was three things above all else:
1. Unnecessarily dramatic.
2. Unnecessarily complicated.
3. Very, very stupid.
But it wasn't as if they had much choice. None of them wanted to be here, stuck inside Yuya's body. None of them wanted to let their own power control their actions. Yet that was exactly what had happened. Now they were in an essentially unsolvable situation. Stuck between a rock and a hard place, both equally unpleasant options. If they had realised what was happening earlier, they would have been able to backpedal and prevent the need for their absurd plan.
Unfortunately, that wasn't what happened.
Yuya cringed as he leaned back in his chair, tilting it backwards dangerously.
Yuto sat ramrod straight, expression pensive, arms crossed.
Yugo was pacing, back and forth, back and forth.
Yuri was seated the furthest away of all of them, in a shadowed corner of the room.
Silence settled over the room, stifling and tense. Nobody wanted to admit just how stupid they've been. What they wanted to admit even less was that the stupid, stupid plan proposed by Yugo was... perhaps their only real option.
'While I hate to agree with Fusion over there,' Yuri eventually began, waving a hand at Yugo.
'MY. NAME. IS. YUGO!' Yugo hissed, steaming.
'-it's not like there's anything else we can do.' he finished smoothly.
Crimson red and steel grey eyes met. Yuya shrugged, a little helplessly. Yuto rolled his eyes up to the ceiling and sighed.
'Oh fine,' he conceded.
Yugo's plan was simple enough. It wasn't even a plan, really, just something he blurted out while ranting. It just so happened to be the best idea any of them had. After all, they had absorbed enough of Zarc's memories to passably act as he would have. The shade that was in control currently could not be left in control.
Letting a shade of Zarc's power control Yuya's body had been a huge mistake.
One they planned to correct immediately.
