It's funny isn't it, how these things work out.

Zarc never meant to become a mass-murdering psychopath.

Yuya never meant to become a tyrannical dictator.

And yet, that was what both eventually became. Their intentions were altruistic, both had despised the use of violence before. Which made it all the more ironic when violence became their go-to solution for everything. Both were so horrifically warped that they became the very thing they so hated. It is such a tragedy, when somebody so good and pure becomes a twisted antithesis to their own ideals.

Was it The Shade's influence?

Or was their downfall inevitable?

Does the reason even really matter anymore? What's done is done and there's no changing that. All anyone can do at this point is hope somebody brings Yuya to his senses...

Or pray that he doesn't end them first.
